Shay was recommended to us by a friend, and what a find he was. From the get go Shay was everything we could have wished for in a photographer and more. The wedding album is constantly being flicked through by everyone who drops into our house, and admired by all. The album arrived today and all I can say is wow! It is brilliant, cant wait till John comes home and we can look at it together. I especially love page 3, the shot of me arriving at the church. Also the one of Sarah and Michelle is so cute on page 15. But every page is brilliant, you are not only a great photographer but a great designer too.

It took me ages to find the right photographer for our wedding. We narrowed it down to 4 photographers and met each of them over two weeks. Shay stood out in terms of value for money and professionalism. He showed us good samples and gave us a good choice of albums. He was friendly and answered all our questions. We are so glad we chose Shay, he turned out to be great on the day. He was discreet and yet there! We stopped in Corkagh park for photos on the way to the hotel, and the photos taken there are just fantastic. We had our speeches before the meal and Shay stayed to take photos of them. We didn’t even see him there but he got photos of us laughing and crying, and photos of the speeches. I especially love one he got of my dad wiping a tear from his eye. After so much research on finding a photographer, I can honestly say Shay Curran is the best.

I trawled through a hundred wedding photograpaher's websites before I found Shay's. I liked what I saw on the website, so we arranged to meet at the venue. Now, it turns out Shay Curran is so laid back he's almost horizontal, which suited me perfectly. But - brides and grooms of Ireland - the most valuable thing about Shay is that he listens. This was particularly impressive because I didn't really know what I wanted, I only knew what I didn't want, but he absoluetly nailed it on the day. The pictures were fantastic. We didn't get a video taken on the day and with Shay's pictures we really didn't need it. He captured it as it happenned, and he captured all our guests as they really were on the day. He was mindful of the fact that I hate posed pictures, so on the day he didn't ask too much of me, and most of the time I barely knew he was there.
The pictures were fab, everyone went mad over them because no one had really seen that style of wedding picture before. Top notch photographs by an excellent photographer, this is the guy you want. Can't wait to get the album.Shay - thank you for the best wedding pictures we could have hoped for.
