Sinéad Healy hails from Castlebar, Co. Mayo in the heart of the West of Ireland. She is one of the most unique and accomplished vocalists and instrumentalists in Ireland. She plays in a variety of musical genres including: Celtic Airs & Songs, Classical, Folk, Film Music, Country Music and Irish Traditional Music.

Having gained a great love for singing at an early age, Sinéad also decided to study voice with the Associated Board of Music, London and qualified with Distinction. Sinéad is a fluent Irish speaker and she can also sing in many other languages including French, German, Italian, Spanish and Latin.

Sinéad is a multi-award winning musician at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann having achieved the All Ireland title in every age category on the piano accordion and an All-Ireland title on the harp in the accompaniment competition. Alongside this, she achieved an All-Ireland title on the harp in the musical group section of Réadóirí. A regular adjudicator at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann, Sinéad is also a much sought after tutor at workshops and summer schools around Ireland. Sinéad teaches the harp annually at Ceol na Locha summer school in Tourmakeady, Co. Mayo.
Sinéad has performed on several occasions as a guest artist on the piano accordion and harp on T.V. programmes including Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann on RTÉ as well as on Geantraí and Glaoch an Cheoil on TG4. Alongside this, Sinéad has appeared as a guest musician on the album “Pleckin’ About” on harp and keyboard which was released by her brother Mícheál on the banjo and mandolin in 2012. She also appeared on the piano accordion album “The Bunch of Keys” on the piano accordion and piano in 2012. She released her debut album on piano accordion entitled 'Shuffle the Deck' in 2014 to critical acclaim.

Sinéad provided the music for our church wedding. From start to finish, the music was absolutely beautiful. We were delighted she was able to provide harp covers of all our chosen song, and her voice alongside it was incredible. So many of our guests commented on the lovely music, and we ourselves felt that the church music was one of the aspects of the day we were extremely happy with. Additionally, Sinéad was extremely professional and pleasant to deal with throughout the whole process. Highly recommended.

Sinead is so talented. We are so glad that she played at our wedding. Her voice is amazing and is so talented playing harp/keyboards. She has a beautiful range of music that she plays often but she was also so accommodating when we asked her to play a piece of music that she doesn't usually play. We would definitely recommend her to any wedding couple. She also played at our drinks reception which was lovely because she provided a lovely atmosphere.

Sinead was absolutely fabulous and a gem to deal with before, during and after the wedding; and that's taking into account 3 postpotments due to the pandemic. Sinead's service was excellent from start to finish. There was never a problem with anything we requested, and she made the entire process as stress free as possible. She is a beautiful singer, harpist and pianist, and several of our guests complimented her. In addition, she was accidentally paid too much, and immediately returned the difference to the groom's mother! Highly recommended!

Sin?ad provided the music for our Wedding. Having known of Sin?ad's talent for many years and knowing the reputation she has for her music, she was the obvious choice for us and we were so delighted when she was available. The singing and music which included the harp and keyboard was absolutely stunning. We have had so many compliments from people who attended the wedding about the music during the ceremony. It created such a lovely atmosphere in the church. Sin?ad was so accommodating during the whole planning process. She has a vast repertoire of songs and music and was able to advise which pieces would suit different parts of the ceremony. We asked her to include two songs that meant a lot to us that weren't on her suggested list and this wasn't a problem for her. I couldn't recommend Sin?ad highly enough to other couples planning their big day!

Sinead was an absolute pleasure to work with. She gave us a list of possible songs and where music/songs were needed throughout the mass which was so helpful. Sinead also accommodated me by playing a hymn that wasn't in her usual repertoire on the big day, which was greatly appreciated. Sinead sang, played piano and the harp at both our ceremony and reception. She was absolutely fabulous and the music was utterly flawless. Two couples booked her the following week. Sinead made our wedding such a special day for ourselves and our guests, playing beautifully at both our ceremony and before dinner at the reception. She performed the pieces superbly and was really appreciated by our guests.

We booked Sinead for our wedding after we had been in contact and reviewed her material online. Sinead was very helpful throughout, from providing assistance in selecting the songs to accommodating a special request on the harp for the entrance into the church. The most honest feedback we can give is that the music throughout the ceremony was really beautiful (feedback from many of our guest - so not just our own biased opinion). Sinead professionalism was second to none - couldn't recommend her highly enough.
