Sinéad Healy hails from Castlebar, Co. Mayo in the heart of the West of Ireland. She is one of the most unique and accomplished vocalists and instrumentalists in Ireland. She plays in a variety of musical genres including: Celtic Airs & Songs, Classical, Folk, Film Music, Country Music and Irish Traditional Music.

Having gained a great love for singing at an early age, Sinéad also decided to study voice with the Associated Board of Music, London and qualified with Distinction. Sinéad is a fluent Irish speaker and she can also sing in many other languages including French, German, Italian, Spanish and Latin.

Sinéad is a multi-award winning musician at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann having achieved the All Ireland title in every age category on the piano accordion and an All-Ireland title on the harp in the accompaniment competition.  Alongside this, she achieved an All-Ireland title on the harp in the musical group section of Réadóirí. A regular adjudicator at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann, Sinéad is also a much sought after tutor at workshops and summer schools around Ireland. Sinéad teaches the harp annually at Ceol na Locha summer school in Tourmakeady, Co. Mayo. 

Sinéad has performed on several occasions as a guest artist on the piano accordion and harp on T.V. programmes including Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann on RTÉ as well as on Geantraí and Glaoch an Cheoil on TG4. Alongside this, Sinéad has appeared as a guest musician on the album “Pleckin’ About” on harp and keyboard which was released by her brother Mícheál on the banjo and mandolin in 2012. She also appeared on the piano accordion album “The Bunch of Keys” on the piano accordion and piano in 2012. She released her debut album on piano accordion entitled 'Shuffle the Deck' in 2014 to critical acclaim.
