I would highly recommend Kelly and Damien, they were the perfect addition to our outdoor ceremony in the sunshine! They sang each song perfectly. We also had them for our drinks reception and they kept with the relaxed outdoor vibe! They are very easy to deal with and respond to queries very quickly.

We got married on the 16th Aug, 2024. Something Blue Acoustic absolutely made our special day...there is no doubt about it. Kelly & Damian were so brilliant. Their overall sound, playlist and energy is something very special.
For our wedding, we wanted music that was chill, fun, romantic and matched us as a couple as we are very chilled and wanted our day to be very personable and fun. Kelly and Damian absolutely delivered the vibe we were looking for, they were stunning.

We had our ceremony outdoors and we were a little concerned about the music and if it would work, but the guys have played outdoors before and were super experienced with sound and how it would travel etc across the space. They were so great to deal with too and worked with us on song options and music type for different parts of our ceremony. As we created our ceremony ourselves, it was so helpful and appreciated that they could bring their experience and advice to us.
The guys are so great to deal with and were very quick to respond to us on anything and everything.

A special shout out to Kelly as there was a particular song I wanted for walking down the aisle and while they didn't know the song, the guys learned it and even sent me a sample. It was so amazing that they put in that extra work for us and we are so appreciative to them for going the extra mile. It meant everything to me.

We also booked the guys for our reception drinks music and it was fantastic. They absolutely played to the vibe of our guests and we have received so many messages and texts about how beautiful the music was.

Something Blue Acoustics performed for our wedding ceremony and drinks reception in June 2024 and they were fantastic. There was a Mick Flannery song that we asked if Kelly and Damien could learn for us as its a very special song to us, they couldnt have been more helpful and sent on recordings of them performing the song to make sure it would work in our ceremony. We walked down the aisle to that song and their performance was spectacular, absolutely nailed it. They really helped us create a special memory which we'll never forget. Their performance for the ceremony and drinks reception was absolutely fabulous, and the energy they brought was infectious. We were privileged to have Kelly and Damien play during our wedding ceremony in Dublin City Hall in May 2024. Their music set the tone for the day from the outset and it was a standout highlight. Prior to the ceremony, Kelly and Damien were a pleasure to deal with and were incredibly amenable to our suggestions for the set list. On the day, they were absolute consummate professionals and fitted seamlessly into the ceremony. During the drinks reception, their versions of an eclectic song list ensured a good vibe and was commented upon positively by many of the guests. We would have no hesitation to recommend them to anyone looking for music for their wedding.

We had something blue for our drinks reception music in faithlegg last February and would not hesitate to recommend them to other wedding couples.
Kelly was quick to respond to emails and gave us a huge list of song choices to choose from. We found them lovely to deal with on the day, they arrived punctually and were set up and playing in no time. At really short notice I requested they play a particular song for our page boy and they were so lovely and accommodating.
We got great feedback from our guests about how nice the music was at the drinks reception and what a lovely atmosphere it created.

Kelly and Damien are unbelievably talented at what they do. We were so impressed by something Blue acoustics. Our friends and family were also blown away. I cannot recommend Kelly and Damien more. From our first communication with them I knew we would be in safe hands. They were extremely professional, while also being friendly and open to discussing any requests. They were very flexible and learned at least one new song so they could play all of our requested music. On our wedding day, the music was absolutely beautiful - Kelly has a wonderful singing voice and Damien's guitar skills are fantastic. I would book them again in a heartbeat!

Something Blue played at both our church wedding ceremony and the drinks reception, for our wedding in October, and we were absolutely blown away by them! Kelly's voice is soulful and unforgettable, and complimented so beautifully by Damien's phenomenal guitar playing. Their catalogue is superb, and they were also kind enough to learn an extra song or two for the ceremony, for a more personal touch - which we really appreciated. We had our wedding last weekend, and Kelly and Damian were my favorite part of the day!!! From their helpfulness with the civil ceremony to there wonderful nature and their amazing talent , they really set the tone for the day!! We are so glad we booked Kelly & Damien for our civil ceremony music! They really were just amazing! Kelly kindly advised how a civil ceremony is laid out in terms of music and how many songs to fit in and when which helped us immensely! On the day the celebrant skipped over where we had a song which meant one of our songs were left out and I have just received an email from kelly to say they were going to put our songs on a USB so that we can listen to all the songs we had picked! There isn't many people who would do that after the ceremony!

Kelly and Damien were fantastic and contributed greatly to our day. Kelly's emails were informative, displayed a strong sense of excitement to perform and reassured us at every interaction that we had made the right choice. When it came to selecting songs for our ceremony they were very accommodating and guided us where required. On the day they waited patiently in the rain as it looked like an outdoor ceremony was the wrong call but as the rain cleared we couldn't have impressed our guests more with the musical ability of these two. The drinks reception set list was great and we were very appreciative of Kelly allowing us the use of her mic for ceremony readings and a speech. Cannot recommend Something Blue highly enough, they were excellent.

From our initially emails with Kelly, to the help we were given picking songs, the goosebumps i got when walking up the aisle to Sweet 16 (which they learned for the day no problem) to the last song we danced back down the aisle to 'Happy Together,; These guys have been nothing short of perfection!!! Kelly & Damien were fantastic from the moment we enquired about availability, through to being flexible on music choices and practical suggestions. We loved their versions of our favourite songs played for our ceremony and they created a fantastic atmosphere at our pre-dinner reception. Our guests all loved them too. So entertaining and great to deal with.

Not only were we lucky with the weather for our ceremony in Castle Leslie, but also the performers we chose for that magical day - Something Blue. Kelly and Damien gave such marvellous renditions of the songs we had picked out, setting the tone for a day that proved to be everything we had wished for. They were so professional on the lead up to our wedding, prompt in response and accommodating with our musical choices - some of which, we'd say, were not the easiest to perform. Kelly and Damien played at our wedding in the Theatre Royal Waterford on 7th July. They were nothing short of amazing. From the very 1st communication I had with Something Blue we felt they were the right up our street. Kelly and Damien were just brilliant! We had our ceremony outdoors and the atmosphere that they both added to it was just surreal - Kellys voice is so beautiful, you could hear a pin drop when she sang. All of our guests were raving about them during the drinks reception also and the variety of songs played!!
Also I think most of our songs for the ceremony weren't even on the list that they provide and both Kelly and Damien never batted an eyelid at me proposing new songs - it was always hassle free and a real pleasure to organise!

Like all the previous reviewers, we could not recommend Kelly and Damien highly enough. If we are to be honest, the ceremony and reception music was not something we gave a huge amount of thought to (relative to other elements of the wedding) and we only happened across Something Blue Acoustics close enough to the date itself. How lucky we were - Kelly and Damien added massively to the whole occasion. They were just spot on really: mellow but entertaining, memorable but not mushy and a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Our guests - and ourselves - loved them and we just hope now that some of our friends choose to get them on board for a future wedding we'll be at so we have the opportunity to enjoy their music once more.

Kelly and Damien were one of our favourite wedding vendors to deal with - everything was easy which is what you hope for when you're juggling so many things. From first contact to music on the day I don't have a single criticism to make. We booked Kelly and Damien for our ceremony and drinks reception for March 2nd in Faithlegg Hotel Waterford. Kelly was great to deal with from the beginning and responded to emails quickly and efficiently. I asked Kelly to sing a particular John Spillane song that i loved for our processional song. She sang it so beautifully and i really was impressed on the day. My Dad also forwarded it on to John himself and he too was chuffed.
My only regret was not hearing really any of the songs at the drinks reception as i was busy getting photographs etc. Thanks so much Kelly & Damien for making our day so memorable xxxx

From the first time we heard Kelly and Damien's music we knew they would be perfect for our rustic wedding in Ballymagarvey. They suited our style of music and the vision we were looking for on the day. We spoke via Skype and always felt that both Kelly and Damien, wanted to make our day special. We selected all the songs from their extensive play list but they were happy to learn and play any other songs we wanted. They played the songs exactly as we wanted but it was so personal and we loved the acoustic style.

When we were looking for musicians for our wedding ceremony, a friend put us in touch with Kelly and Damien, and I couldn't recommend them highly enough. From our initial contact, Kelly was really helpful and was always very quick to respond to our emails. She gave plenty of advice on which songs worked best for different parts of the ceremony especially when we were struggling to come up with a suitable hymn for the psalm. The music on the day was fantastic - Kelly has a beautiful voice and it really works well alongside her husband Damien on the guitar. I listened to their audio video's on the their website and contacted Kelly. From the first initial contact I knew they were the ones that will help me walk up the aisle to one of our favourite songs. The ceremony was a joy and we also asked Damien and Kelly to sing at our reception drinks. Kelly has a beautiful voice and sings a lot of old classics.
