Steely Dave - Beats For Every OccasionMy name is Dave Acton aka Steely Dave and I'm not your average, run of the mill wedding DJ but a skillful and experienced non - cheesy DJ that will keep you and your guests boogying all night long. I am an experienced wedding DJ and know what it takes to get the party started!Basically I can "Rock The Kasbah" without having to "Rock The Boat"I am based in Dublin but operate nationwide and have played in the top prestigious venues all around the country. I offer a full wedding service which will give you everything you need to ensure your entire party is kick started the right way; including Technics Turntables, PA Soundsystem, lighting and a wired microphone. This package will offer you a full night of music from an experienced DJ. I will arrive with plenty of time to set up and do so in a discreet manner which will subtly guide you and your guests onto the dance floor at your desired time. I also offer a package for couples who would like a DJ set to follow on from their chosen band. We can?t recommend Dave enough. He played all the songs we wanted without any issue. He created an amazing atmosphere at our wedding. He?s was also very professional and responsive to emails and calls. We would recommend him to any couple for their upcoming wedding or party.

We had Dave play at our wedding reception recently and I cannot recommend him highly enough.
From the start he was great- we exchanged emails discussing the venue/our needs/price etc and then he called over to meet with us a few weeks before the wedding.
Dave really set our minds at ease form the minute we started communicating with him- he was very flexible and open to everything and we loved the sound of his playlists.
The night of the wedding, Dave was very professional and the music was exactly as we had discussed, it was really everything we had imagined and more! All the guests were commenting on the good music and my feet were in bits for the next two days from all the dancing- a good complaint!!!!
Huge thank you to Dave for making our night even more special!

We were recommended Dave after we spent a long time looking for a wedding DJ that played more than the usual cheesy tunes! We are both big music fans and wanted a mix of pop, funk, hip hop and soul and so got in touch with Dave who listened carefully and spent time understanding the music that we loved. He was really quick to respond to our emails and texts in the run up to the wedding.
On the night of the wedding, we were thrilled with how he effortlessly selected our favourite songs at just the right time to ensure that the dancefloor was packed from start to finish. We didn't have a band so we were relying on Dave to ensure that the party atmosphere lasted all night and he did such a fantastic job. We couldn't recommend Dave highly enough.

Dave DJ'D for my wedding this year in February. I was in 2 minds of having a dj and a band, or just a dj for the entire night.In the end, I went with just a dj. I was apprehensive about my decision to not have a band, and I was worrying,as every brides does, would the crowd like it? Would people be up dancing? and would the atmosphere be the same without a band?.. well I had nothing to worry about. From the first song everyone was up dancing. The atmosphere was everything I could have wanted, there was no need for a band. The music was to everyones taste. He really made mine, my husbands and my guests nights. The next morning, at breakfast, everyone commented on how good he was and some asked for his number for their future wedding. I was delighted to pass it on. I couldn't recommend Dave enough. Thank you so so much. ????

We found Steely Dave after a recommendation from a friend. Couldn't have been happier with his set. He really listened to what we wanted and catered to our very specific musical tastes! His chilled personality and cheery demeanour helped create a great atmosphere for our afters. He got everyone up dancing! Book this guy!

Dave was an absolute pleasure to deal with while I was organising my wedding. He always responded to my queries & has a great understanding of specific wedding requirements.
He brought a fab party atmosphere to the wedding & seemed to know what direction to take the music during the night, from the usual wedding songs to rock & even rave!
