My name is Steve Rawson, and I am a HSE-registered legal solemniser of weddings.
As an accredited Humanist Association of Ireland (HAI) celebrant my role is to create warm, endearing, and memorable moments for your special occasion. A day of laughter, music, poetry, and fun that puts you at the heart of the ceremony.
I work closely with couples to design a very personalized and unique wedding ceremony that reflects your values and beliefs – a ceremony that is delivered in a professional but relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for you, your family, and your friends.
It will be a wedding ceremony that chooses carefully crafted words and symbols designed ‘your way’.
My approach is always one of co-creation or collaborative innovation where I guide and assist you in the creation of your own unique personalized ceremony.
I listen, then craft a wording that connects you and your guests to the essence of your personal journey together.
It also means that, on your big wedding day, you can relax, mingle with your friends, family, and guests, and enjoy the experience. I’ll take care of the rest.
Although I am based in Dublin, I can travel to any part of the country to assist you in the creation of your ceremony whether it is being held inside or outdoor – large or small – traditional or alternative. I can also read specially selected readings in both French and Spanish.

We are so happy we found & booked Steve for our wedding day. He’s a true gentleman. We really enjoyed all the conversations we had with him throughout the booking process, and on the lead up to our wedding. He’s professional, warm and sincere. With a good sense of humour too
He was incredibly thorough in regards to the ceremony, what to include and how he would deliver it and to really make it about us, and all the special people In our lives. He really wanted to make sure that we had really special ceremony, and we did all thanks to him.

We couldn’t be happier we had Steve as our celebrant. He was so thorough in helping us understand everything involved, and we had meetings in the lead up to ensure all details were covered and perfect.
On the day he was such a calming presence, and our ceremony was beautiful. He made sure there were enough personal touches throughout, and really gave a brilliant sense into us as a couple, and our journey. He also added little touches of humour which we loved, as we wanted a personable and fun ceremony. We’ve lost count of the amount of people who came up to us afterwards specifically to compliment Steve and his wonderful ceremony. We couldn’t recommend him enough. He brought in the right amount of absolutely every aspect and captured us perfectly as a couple. His seriousness about the ceremony was brilliantly paired with some humour, romance and resonated with us in every word. He took his time listening to us and that was wonderfully to be seen in the service! All of our guests were full of compliments about him and how beautifully he brought in our families and friends, just as we wanted it to be! (He even learned a good bit of German and Czech for us to make everyone feel included! Massive videos!)

Cannot recommend Steve enough! He married us last week and our friends and family are still talking about how great he was. We met Steve via zoom a few times before our wedding so he really got to know us and our story and you could tell that in the way he delivered the ceremony. He is the perfect blend of professional, humorous and charming. He pays attention to the smallest of details and made us feel at ease from the minute we first met him.

Steve solemnised our marriage last week. The ceremony was more than we could ever have hoped for. Intimate, personal, with injections of humour and the overarching tone of sincerity that we wanted for our marriage.
Steve is so professional and personable. He met us three times (via zoom as we Iive abroad) to get to know us initially, then to finalise details of the ceremony. Steve was so responsive whenever we emailed him with queries.
We had wedding guests from all over the world, lots of whom said that it was the most beautiful ceremony they had ever attended. We couldn't recommend Steve highly enough as a celebrant.

We are delighted we chose Steve for our wedding ceremony. He was so warm and friendly and has a certain charm and charisma about him that made our day feel really special. The ceremony itself was really personal. He really dug down into our story and made the whole thing about us (which is exactly as it should be!). We had a few meeting with him over zoom and he goes through everything before the day so you know exactly what's going to be said. He's really personable and flexible and he even stayed out in the rain to get us married outside. I wouldn't hesitate to book him, we are so glad that we chose him. He is an absolute gem!

Steve was an amazing officiant for our wedding. He was very helpful in joining us online for several zoom meetings (as we planned our wedding from Canada) to get to know our personalities as well as our values that we wished to be portrayed in our ceremony. Steve was attentive to detail and we could not have not asked for a more perfect day.
Steve made everyone feel comfortable and relaxed. He is highly organized and took the pressure off of what can be a stressful time.

We are a an older couple who were getting married. From beginning to end I found Steve to be a consumate professional at his job. His communications skills with us was excellent speaing to us on the level we were at. We had a few zoom meetings which were very helpful. He enhanced our wedding story and with grace delivered in a very humorous but loving way. We would have no hesitation recommending Steve to anyone who is getting married. And a bonus ge was there 2 hours early to tighten up last minute details
