We had the absolute best day, helped along by Susan. She caught every moment, and ensured before the wedding to check what we exactly wanted and she ensured we had it. We still dont know how she got everywhere at once, but she did, she missed nothing!! Beautiful photos and amazing turn around time. Recommend to anyone! All our guests are so so happy too!

Susan and her husband were amazing on our wedding day. In addition to taking fantastic photos that we will treasure forever they are genuinely kind people. We had a medical emergency with one of our family members and Susan and her husband not only stayed later while we sorted things out, but were so calm and reassuring. It really made us feel like they were invested in our wedding. So while the photography was brilliant, their kindness was what we appreciate the most. I would not hesitate to hire them 100 more times.

Alyssa, thank you so much for such a lovely review! It really means a lot to us. It was a pleasure working with you and Richie, and we loved seeing all the thought and effort you put into the day - we’ll definitely remember the Pink Pony Club props with a smile! 💕
We were so sorry that you had to deal with a medical emergency on the day, and we really hope your relative is doing well and continuing to recover.

We couldn’t have asked for better photographers than Susan and John to capture our wedding day at Darver Castle in Aug! From the very beginning they were the nicest people to deal with — so kind, approachable, and genuinely excited about being part of our day. Their attention to detail is incredible; they didn’t miss a moment and managed to capture not only the big events but also the small, candid touches that mean so much to us. The photos are absolutely beautiful and really tell the story of the day. We are beyond grateful and would highly recommend Susan and John to anyone looking for talented photographers who also happen to be the loveliest people you could meet. David and Nicola Kavanagh

Susan and John were great to work with. They were very helpful and communicative leading up to our wedding day. On the day, they did amazing work. At several times during the day, I remember wishing for a picture of a moment, then turning to see one of them there to capture it. When we received the photos, we could not have been happier. They were extremely generous with the number of photos, and all of them were very high quality. Could not recommend Susan Jeffries more! -Raizel and Robbert

We approached Susan Jefferies Photography initially after they are were listed on the recommended supplier list by our venue. Ideally we wanted someone who was familiar with our venue and who didn't have too far to travel.
We requested a meeting with Susan who explained everything to us in great detail and who communicated with us well during the whole process and in the build up to our big day.
We were surprised with their range of packages available and the different pricing options to suit a range of budgets.
I cant recommend Susan and John enough, both working professionally and patiently with us on the day. Personally I wanted to spend my time at the drinks reception with our guests rather than getting pictures taken so this was taken on board. This was helped by their experience with the venue.
I cant wait to see the images they captured.

Right from the start Susan was incredible to deal with- so professional and Uber organized. We had a zoom to run though what we were thinking and Susan have great advice. In the run up to the wedding she sent us through a timeline for the day and then arrived an hour early to get set up! Throughout the day she was more like a wedding coordinator than anything! Kept us moving but in a very unassuming way. Just lovely to have around and in now was annoying. Susan’s husband John was also with us on the day and was equally as great. Relaxed and calming and pretty funny too! Photos were brilliant and nothing was too much to ask of either of them! Photos were sent through to us within 2 months and of excellent quality, some candid Gems in the mix of formal shots. Highly recommend!

We had our wedding in 01/08/2024 and booked Susan and her husband John to get snaps of our day. They were absolutely amazing! They arrived early in the day and were so professional but at the same time easy going which is exactly what we wanted! The were also great craic on the day and our guests have all said they were such good company to have around, particularly during the drinks reception where they took a lot of candid photos of our guests. If I could go back, I would 100% book with them again, they are a beautiful couple and were happy to do whatever it was we wanted on the day! Thanks for everything Sue and John xx

Susan and John captured our wedding day perfectly.
From the get go, Susan was extremely organised and professional arranging a zoom call to ensure our vision for the photos matched with hers. And they did! We couldn't be happier.
In the run up to the wedding, Susan was extremely responsive to any questions or thoughts we had. It was also great to hear that Susan and John visited our wedding venue a few days beforehand to suss out the best spots for photos. This made everything go so smoothly. We wanted to spend as much time with our guests as possible and you would barely notice that Susan and John were in the background capturing every moment.
We would 100% recommend them for your wedding day.

Sue was the photographer for our wedding in April, and I couldn't recommend her enough. Everything leading up to the day was very professional and well organized. On the day, she made us both feel free very comfortable and was great to be around. She knew the venue really well, which meant she was able to get stunning photos with just us, while ensuring we then had lots of time after to socialize/ take other photos with our guests. John and Susan were the photographers for my brother's wedding in 2022 where I was a groomsman. I was happy with their way of operating, which was nice and laid back while getting ready, and blending in while getting great shots. I was also able to view the finished product for their wedding so I had no hesitation booking for our own wedding, and we weren't disappointed, both John and Sue were great yet again, and the photos came out great. I'd be happy to recommend them to anyone.

We chose Sue and John as our wedding photographers and are so glad that we did. From the outset they were extremely professional and responsive. We had a consultation with Sue over zoom and Sue really listened to and took note of what my husband and I wanted. As a result everything went seamlessly on our wedding day. It was so great to have two photographers as all of the special moments were captured. Sue took photos with myself, the bridesmaids and my parents prior to the ceremony and John got photos of my husband and the groomsmen as well as our guests arriving to our ceremony. No time was wasted and group shots were taken quickly in a relaxed and informal manner which was exactly what we wanted. My Dad was quite sick on our wedding day and Sue was extremely mindful of this and kind to him for which I am so grateful! While Sue took our couple photos, John worked hard getting photos of all of our guests at our drinks reception. We couldn't have been happier with Sue and John and highly recommend them!

My husband and I were so happy with how the photos turned out! John did the photos for us. I loved the mix of contemporary but also traditional photos. The quality was just stunning. I am so happy that we decided to go with Susan Jeffries Photography. John was very personable and friendly. He even pinned the button holes onto the men when we were all struggling. I always knew I wanted Susan to be photographer for my wedding. She has done this for a few people I know so I was already familiar with her photographs. I love her work - she has a wonderful timeless style and always has a lovely mix of classic posed shots with beautiful candid moments that would otherwise be forgotten.
In the lead-up, Susan was a dream to deal with. We had a Zoom consult where we talked through all the details. I then received emails from Susan in the weeks before the wedding, answering questions that I hadn't even thought to ask yet.
We chose to have both Susan and John on the day which was amazing as we got shots of both bride and groom getting ready on the morning as well as guests arriving to the venue.
Both Susan and John were so unobtrusive on the day, they?re like a pair of ninjas! I was amazed at how little time it took to complete our couple shots after the ceremony, which was great as I means we got to enjoy our drinks reception.
We got our photos back so quickly too, I couldn't believe it!
My only complaint is that I have too many beautiful shots, I don't know how I'm going to decide which ones to frame.
I highly recommend Susan Jeffries Photography - the best in the business!!

Susan & John, thank you so much for these. They are absolutely stunning.. I am emotional looking at them as you have brought us right back into our wedding day itself. Not only have you captured beautiful images but you also captured the atmosphere, energy & emotion of the day in your photographs. They are beautiful. You both are masters of your craft. Thanks to you both for your patience and kindness on our wedding day. You were a pleasure to have around and while I was a little nervous about the idea of a photographer on the day, you put me at ease so many times and I am sincerely grateful for that.??Thanks for bringing our wedding day back into the present. We are delighted. I have downloaded all the photos / files and transferred to my own dropbox. That is an amazing feature by the way, so handy and user friendly! Thanks for that too.
I shared the slideshow with my friends and a reply from a friend was "Aw Isobel that's beautiful. She's an amazing photographer! You really had the best of everything on the day."
Once again thank you both so much & I hope we have the opportunity to work with you again in the future.
Warm regards, Isobel & Don

Susan & John captured photos of our special day at the end of March this year. We are so happy we booked them. Having received our photos less than four weeks after our Wedding, it was a welcomed trip down memory lane. From the first point of contact when booking until six o' clock on the evening of our Wedding, there is not one thing we could fault.
Susan arrived at my home that morning as I was chained to a chair getting hair and make-up done and she just blended in like one of the family. There were times that we all forgot she was there. John, spent some time with P?draig and his family that morning and likewise he blended in and captured some great moments.
We provided them both with a list of required photos prior to the day and they both ensured all were taken. What I liked most about Susan & John is the fact that they communicated with us throughout the entire day and most importantly, they listened to what we wanted and listened when we had enough of the camera...
Anyone looking for a pair of great photographers for their Wedding Day would be foolish to look any further.
Thank you both so much for doing such a great job. We'll cherish these photos forever.

Sue and her partner John are an incredible photography team whose uncanny ability to setup the perfect moments and shots left us breathless. They had flawless end to end coverage of our wedding day, both of ourselves and shots of our guests.
The quality of the photos really were amazing and the familiarity with our venue led to a number of photos that made all of our guests say "WOW!". They have both an eye for the perfect staged shot as well as amazing candid shots, many of which we didn't even realize were captured.
In short, Sue and her partner John were the key factor in an amazing wedding.

Sue and John were a pleasure to have with us in our special day. From the beginning sue was extremely organized and planned everything down to the last. We knew our schedule early on. On the day she and John were prompt and got to work without any introductions.
I loved the fact sue was with me but at the same time John was with my John and his family watching their morning unfold.
After the ceremony sue had our list of requested photos and she organized everyone outside the church so quickly we had family photos done before we knew it. This was great as the weather held and she grabbed the opportunity when everyone was standing around so no one had to go looking for missing people, which often happen when crowds disperse.
Later sue was instrumental in getting fabulous shots of us which were non traditional around the grounds of the hotel and I love the fact ours are different and she didn't conform with the main stream photos. She tempted me with sitting in a boat but my John wasn't as brave so we balanced out on a lone rock on the lake with swans swimming by which now look superb on our favourite phots which we will have in our album forever.
We will treasure all our photos. Sue even sent us a fabulous sample and mix of our photos on our honeymoon via email and we were delighted to receive these so quickly, so we could see people and things we hadn't been aware of on the day.
When we came home our photos arrived so quickly and I look at them so often. Family could see them also as they were easy to access.
There are so many to choose from it will be difficult to finalize our album but I'm looking forward to trying.
Sue and John thank you so much for your professionalism and hard work on the day we would be delighted to recommend both of you without hesitation.
Kind regards
Sinead and John

We had a historical COVID19 Wedding! Having kept to our orginal wedding date during the COVID restrictions, we had a much smaller but beautifully intimate private ceremony. Having contacted Susan Jefferies a few weeks beforehand, Susan was very supportive and eager to help us out on our special day. Susan was very understanding of the restrictions and social distancing on the day, and was very considerate and delicate in her photo taking. Despite physical distancing, Susan managed to get the perfect shots and lots of terrific photos during the ceremony and in our garden (under the trees and in the treehouse) afterwards. We are delighted with the wonderful pics. Thank you Susan for ensuring we have such lovely memories of our uniquely different and perfect wedding day 2020!

We were so pleased Susan and John were able to photograph our wedding. They were the photographers for my sister's wedding and we loved that they were unobtrusive on the day, while still managing to take wonderful photos. We specifically asked for less time taking photos so we could attend the reception sooner so they both accommodated this request. They took lots of spontaneous natural photos of us and the guests and were overall lovely people to have around on the day. We were delighted with all the photos when they came back.

Susan and John are photographers that we chose based on looking at their work from previous weddings. We then met with Susan to chat about their style of photography, ideas for our day and also to discuss the finer details of our wedding. Susan and John compliment each other's shots. They are very warm, genuine people with a super sense of humour. This helped with capturing relaxed photographs as the camera was such a big part of recording our Wedding Day. Susan and John are inobtrusive by nature and looking at the photos now, they captured beautiful shots of some of the finer details in both the Church and at the venue. After our wedding there was a short turnaround time to receiving the photos and they are still available to answer questions or help with any additional items. We are so pleased that we picked these talented photographers for our Wedding Day.
Response from Susan Jefferies Photography
Dea Roisin and Richard, thank you so much for your kind words! We are delighted and it was an absolute pleasure to capture your wedding celebrations. Where do I begin to describe such a beautiful day? It was lovely to share in all the fun with you and Richard and your lovely famillies and friends. The sunshine, the church by the sea, the kilts, the icecream, the kids, and the incredible beauty of Waterford Castle all set the perfect setting to tie the knot, and yet you still managed to shine out even more yourselves, for being such nice people. You made us feel so comfortable and you were great fun to be around. You are both lovely inside and out and we genuinely wish you every happiness that the future can bring. Myself and my husband used Susan Jefferies Photography for our wedding photographs back in September 2017 and could not have been more pleased with the results. Susan covered the wedding morning in my family home while John covered the wedding morning with my husband and his family. This was fantastic for us as when the photos arrived we were able to see how the other got on that morning. It was such a delight. Susan and John had also had previous experience of shooting wedding photographs at our wedding Church and venue which was a significant bonus as we were confident they would know where to get the best shots. They provided us with a great mix of both formal and informal photographs. We were both delighted with the final photographs when they arrived and provided us with memories and photos to cherish forever.

You're a beautiful couple and we wish you every happiness, Thanks again and very best wishes, from Sue & John xx (at www.sjphotography.ie)
