We are 8 years making personalised / bespoke table plans for couples who want that little something different for their wedding day and their photo album. We make the table plan but the design theme is the couple's personal choice.
Our Style
The table plans are mounted on extremely hard card and raised with a 6mm step which gives an elegant high-end, high detail look. Precision hand cut table plans made the days before and finished the night before.
NOTE: Mirror Table Plans, I no longer do. This is due to finger prints, difficulty of reading and the difficulty for a good photo for the album due to reflection.
QUOTATIONS
How Much - generally between €150 to €350 depeding on theme, guest number, location.
Quotations are only given through our website, www.tableplandesigns.ie

KEY POINTS - TABLE PLANS IN GENERAL
Most important function of a Table Plan is to prevent "crowding" at the last minute into the function room also guests asking table staff where they are sitting.
This is prevented by a number of ways, which are listed below.
FINAL GUEST LIST - Unfortunately guests can cancel for many reasons, family, work, illness, babysitters etc. Hotels generally ask for the final guest list 3 days before a wedding because they know there are changes to the list days before a wedding but also the chef needs to know how much food to order. Unfortunately, a lot of the time, changes can happen the day before a wedding.
SIZE OF THE TABLE PLAN - The size of a table plan is fundamental to no Crowding but also the Theme.
For example :
A couple may want a map of the world theme that is A1 size with 15 tables but something is not going to work unfortunately. The couple could get a map table plan, with tables that are too small for guests to read or the tables are large and the map is covered. The answer is a larger table plan, A0 and larger.
DISPLAY LOCATIONS - There are two locations the table plan should be displayed, pre-reception and the reception. Provided the table plan is in a good location for pre-reception and (easy to read), a high percentage of guests will read at it.
The second location is it the entrance to the reception / function room. When the bell is called. The remaining guests who have not looked at the table plan, will look at the table plan in this location. Guests will find their seat in a relaxed orderly fashion with a drink in hand and chatting on the away, to perfect timing for kitchen, speeches & later the band.
Crowding at the function room only starts when the guests dont read the table plan at the pre-reception and arrive to the function room asking table staff where they are sitting. This delayed service of wine and ordering of the menu which follows on to speeches and late set up for the band.
STYLE - All couples want a stylish table plan but it needs to be practical, guests can not be expected to be bent over or kneeling down on the floor to find their name (*) 800mm from the floor is a good height to start or the text very large.
TEXT - The text should be clear and easy to read from a distance. If the text is too small, guests will need to stand up close to it, some will find their names and others will give up looking and just ask table staff at the reception. A good distance to read text from is, 2.5m / 3m good distance away from the table plan.
REFLECTIVE TABLE PLAN - This can be very annoying as photos on social media can be fantastic but a person needs to remember, it has been set up for a photo shoot.
Test it at home or see it set up at a venue. Check if you can read it from a distance and also make sure it's not set up with a distracting background, as it will make it very hard to read.
Keep in mind the 2 locations as this table plan should be set up in the pre-reception for
2 hours or longer, to get your moneys worth.
He collected it the day after our wedding and then was kind enough to deliver it personally to our home when we got back from honeymoon. Service just doesn?t they better than that.
