The Good Hustle

We recently had the Good Hustle band as our wedding band in Dec ‘24 in Sligo and could not be happier! They were incredible from the very start, and kept the crowd on the dance floor for most of the night which is not easy. Really easy to deal with and friendly, and quite accommodative with the first dance song/ setup we asked for. Also provided a DJ for when they finished up. Have had plenty of compliments from guests since! Have a great array of songs and styles which they adapt to during the night that keeps the party going and dancefloor full - would highly recommend!

What can I say, this band absolutely delivered in spade's and then some.

The band was always a big part of our wedding and one we felt we had to get right. We picked the Good Hustle purely because for us they sounded the best and gave off good energy.

Well, the moment they arrived they set up in minutes while the lead vocalists Hannah and Ciaran made sure everything was ready to go and really reassured us. They knocked out first dance song out of the park.

Immediately after that they banged out classic and after classic and at one stage I think we had all our guests on the dancefloor. We are two weeks on after our big day and people are still talking about how great they were.

If your in doubt give these guys a shout. I couldn't recommend them any more. They will turn your wedding from a great day into an incredible day. You won't be disappointed.

A true wedding band.

We visited other bands who played beautifully, but just didn't fill a dance floor like these guys.

The Good Hustle have the talent, spread of vocals, and instruments to play a variety of music. They play for hours. There is a gorgeous variety over that time.

(You ever go to a wedding where the band are a stuck in one style, and you're bored after 40 mins? This will not happen.)

We were gaping at the solo's at the end. Stunning, but also not gratuitous.

They read the crowd, keep the floor filled, vibe with the crowd, and bring insane energy.

The Good Hustle are the epitome of an amazing Wedding Band.

... And they learned our first dance, and it was perfect.

The Good Hustle was absolutely INCREDIBLE. We have people still telling us on a daily basis how amazing the band were.

Also communicating with the band in advance also was so easy and straight forward.

ANY future event we end up hosting, we will be in touch again and would recommend this band to EVERYONE 💯

A random side note: one thing I’m noticing is that there are a few well known wedding bands which are very expensive. My husband and I weren’t aware of this, we purely just listened to different bands and selected the good hustle based on sound and energy. It was only afterwards we realised that they’re less well known and more reasonably priced. All our friends that have been to multiple weddings across Ireland couldn’t believe they hadn’t heard this band before and agree without doubt- the Good Hustle= thee best.

We got married in June 2024, and choosing The Good Hustle as our wedding band was undoubtedly one of the best decisions we made. From start to finish, their professionalism and communication were top-notch. Throughout the planning process, I had the pleasure of working with Michael, who was extremely helpful, ensuring that everything was perfectly aligned for our big day.

On the night of our wedding, The Good Hustle absolutely smashed it! The dancefloor was alive all night, with guests constantly commenting on how full and energetic it was. The band’s ability to keep everyone dancing and having fun was incredible. The quality of the music and song selection was excellent, and they had an uncanny ability to read the room and play exactly what the crowd wanted to hear.

Our first dance was an especially memorable moment, and Ciaran did an outstanding job executing the song. On the night, it was his suggestion to have our first dance outside, and it turned out to be a very special moment 

We booked The Good Hustle during Covid restrictions so we couldn't see them live in person, we had to watch them on YouTube during a live session. They were really good when we saw them on YouTube and we were delighted when they were free to play at our Wedding. They learned our First Dance song and also sang the Father Daughter dance song. The dancefloor was full for the whole night and so many of our guest commented on how amazing they were. We would 100% recommend The Good Hustle to any future couples for their Wedding Band, they definitely did not disappoint us and exceeded our expectations.

Oh my god I can't say enough about the Good Hustle! From the moment I emailed to enquire, Michael was on the ball and replied so quickly. We hadn't seen them in action before but they were the absolute best wedding band! We sent on a few songs which they were totally open to - I literally never left the floor until lights came on, people were commenting they hadn't been to a wedding where there literally wasn't even a lull of one minute on the floor! Loads of people asking who they were afterwards for their own events, and people were raging they weren't wearing their Fitbit's to count their steps on the floor! The Good Hustle were a fantastic band and we couldn't recommend them enough! The band were so professional and prompt to deal with from the very first email. They had the dancefloor full for the entire night. Their medleys of all the different genres of music had the dancefloor hopping! Our first dance was 'The Fisherman's Blues' by the Waterboys and they did a stunning acoustic version of this in the courtyard at Markree Castle. The first dance was the highlight of our day, big thank you to Ciar?n and the saxophone player for this! So many of our guests commented on how great the band were and they didn't want to leave the dancefloor, out of fear of missing out on the next brilliant song! 100% recommend The Good Hustle, you won't regret booking them!!

The good hustle did not disappoint. Very easy to deal with on the run up to the wedding, selecting dates and selecting music also.
But the best thing was when they started playing, they were absolutely unbelievable, so energetic, fantastic choice of music, fantastic everything.
The amount of our guests who talked about the band the next day and the days following the wedding blow us away...they all loved it..

Booked the good hustle as our wedding band and the were amazing. The dance floor was full all night with young and old, even people who never dance at weddings normally were up, they were just unreal. Every guest we have spoke to are still going on about them. I couldn't recommend them enough and also so easy to deal with.

The Good Hustle played our wedding last week and they were unreal! Honestly the dance floor was full for the full night and the songs they played were brilliant. All our families and friends said they never danced so much at a wedding. The music is the perfect mix of for all ages and they are very talented musicians and singers. They blend classic tunes with a funky mix and the finale was a mashup of modern dance and pop hits which was soooooo good. Cannot recommend them highly enough!

Absolutely amazing band!! We had seen these guys play at a friends wedding prior to booking and that was our decision made! Personally, we had a lot of song requests but they took everything on board and were extremely flexible with everything we had asked for! As a bride, I was waiting for a song I didn't like to come on so I could change my shoes - and it never happened!! The best wedding band I have ever heard. We had heard The Good Hustle at a wedding a few years ago, and I had decided then that they were my wedding band! So professional and talented. Love the mixture of Ciaran and Hannah's voices, with the mixture of the saxophone. They are all fantastic musicians in their own right. The dance floor was filled the whole time, and every single song was excellent. They did a fantastic mash up at the end of loads of different songs, from 90s dance music, to old school RnB, to rap, to 80s cheese. Every single person I talked to at the wedding commented on how amazing the band were. Easily, the best decision I ever made regarding our wedding (apart from marrying my husband of course!) Where do I even begin??! Wow wow wow wow wow!!!! The Good Hustle were not just "Good" they were absolutely UNREAL!! The dancefloor was hopping all night. Nobody wanted the music to end and when it came to finishing time I'm pretty sure they squeezed in about 20 songs into the most epic medley there ever was!!
Michael was so sound to deal with and very prompt to reply to calls/ texts. They learned our first dance which was also amazing. We had Hannah on female vocals and she was brilliant. What a voice and Ciar?n.. well what can we say? That Joe Dolan number sold it for us!!!

We couldn't have picked a better band for us and our guests, I genuinely think the dance floor wasn't empty once all night.

For most people the venue or the food makes a wedding but music was a huge factor for me and I can honestly say ye made the day for me! We couldn't have rang in the new year any better.

The mash up of songs was a real highlight for us, such a nice change to the typical wedding music you hear at most other weddings!

We've had numerous calls and messages asking about ye and I will be recommending ye for years to come!

From the day we spoke on the phone until the last song the guys Were so lovely helpful and fantastic.

We were blown away by the performance every age was catered for my whole family were out dancing even my auntie who hates dancing she said the way they played her fave songs were amazing.
My girls from school all boogied to some classics from school and even

We had the Good Hustle play at our wedding and they were unbelievable!!!its something we wer so picky about and didn't want your usual wedding band. We didnt see them before the day but watched their videos and online showcase and knew immediatley they were the band for us. Michael was so helpful from day 1. They just blew us and our guests away. From the first night we saw the guys play in Galway we knew we had found our wedding band and honestly couldn't believe they were still available on our date. They were absolutely amazing on the day and the floor was full all night, I don't think I left the floor once - and I never dance! Cannot recommend this band enough, you are lucky if you get them. The Good Hustle will turn your wedding into the best party ever. The dancefloor was full from the first song to the end of their DJ set. Unreal musicians, amazing vocals, brilliant fun. We had The Good Hustle for our wedding in a country house in County Wexford. A long trip for the band on a very stormy weekend but they were on time and put on a brilliant performance.

The dance floor was full and the band had great energy and knew the right songs to play to keep the right vibe all night.

The Good Hustle are the best wedding band we have ever seen. Even though it was our wedding, that is not bias by any stretch of the imagination. The energy they bring to the venue and the atmosphere that they create on the dance floor is beyond compare. We spoke at length with Michael on the phone in the days leading up to the wedding and with great patience he took on board all of our requests for what we did and did not want played on the night. The band even went out of their way to learn our first dance song which was a Meat Loaf song and not the most typical request. They played it to absolute perfection. The guys travelled all the way from Galway to Dundalk, got set up and kicked off at around 10pm and from start to finish the dance floor was packed. The set was so eclectic, covering all decades and styles, allowing guests of all ages to really enjoy themselves. We opted for the DJ add-on and would recommend this as there was a seamless transition from band to DJ meaning there was no lull in the atmosphere. During the band's set they even had Mark (the groom) up to sing 2 songs with them. This was not at all planned and really added to the memories that were made on the night. Our wedding was now 6 weeks ago and people are still talking about The Good Hustle. Friends who are getting married and wedding guests who have sons and daughters getting married are asking for the band's details. They have really left a lasting impression on everyone involved. If you are considering booking The Good Hustle, and they are available BOOK THEM! We promise you will not regret it!

Recently had these guys for our wedding and I must say they were brilliant. The dance floor never emptied and still guests are commenting at how brilliant the band were. They played a large variety of songs from various years. Our main criteria for the wedding was to have a great band and the good hustle did not disappoint. If you want a lively band that gets everyone on their feet these guys are for you.

Exceeded our expectations by far, keeping guests both young and old on the dance floor for the duration of the night. Many of our guests have commented that they were not only the best wedding band they had experience but the best band full stop. What we really wanted was a good party and with their fantastic set they certainly delivered that.

All the guys were very friendly and their professionalism made organising the wedding and getting set up on the night very easy. We didn't have to worry about anything at all.

One night myself and Jonny ( my now husband) were sitting down trying to figure out what band we would like to play at our wedding. We wanted a band that would fill the dance floor and help us create a party for people. We wanted a band that would interact with the crowd and try read what people wanted on the dance floor to keep them bopping away! While we were browsing online we stumbled across The Good Hustle and we were impressed. They seemed to have a really nice funky vibe going on! We started to get excited. We found out that they played a set in Galway once a month so we decided that we would take a spin up from Waterford to see them play the next time they were on. I called the point of contact for The Good Hustle Micheal the next day to ask if they had our date available and the cost of the band and how much extra it would be to travel to our wedding venue The Newpark Hotel in Kilkenny. Micheal is extremely professional. He went through all our options with us from providing singers for our church, the drinks reception, how many 'piece' band we wanted and Dj. One Saturday evening we drove to Galway to watch to The Good Hustle and we were blown away. We met the band on the night and we were delighted to have found the band that we knew could deliver a party to us. Jonny and I decided that we would take the full band (3 singers and brass) and Dj for our wedding. I exchanged a couple of emails with Micheal over the months leading up to my wedding. He was very responsive and I knew that we they were going to do amazing job for us. We filled out a small questionnaire for Micheal so he could help gage what kind of audience he had for our wedding. On our wedding day The Good Hustle arrived at the hotel early, win win! They set up fairly rapidly, win win! And they got the dance floor full for the night, WIN WIN again! They were unreal! They sang our first dance and they knew from crowd that they wanted to party! They catered for song for every age at the wedding. My little niece Ellie Mai had wanted to surprise me and sing a song while the band were on, they went out of their way to help her perform her song. The dj set was brilliant, the dance floor was not empty for one minute. Everybody loved every minute of The Good Hustle. We are getting asked constantly what band we had because they rocked it so much. We would highly recommend them. Honestly they are fantastic. If you do decide on The Good Hustle you will be winning all round!

For us, booking a great wedding band was our main priority when we were planning our wedding. We are both really into music and we did a lot of research to find a band that suited our musical tastes.

We came across The Good Hustle on YouTube just after they formed - we took one look at their two minute video and emailed them straight away to book, they were that fantastic! Michael made the booking process so easy for us - we explained the style of music we were after and we seemed right up each others street!

Their repertoire is a mix of funk, 90s, R&B, soul, jazz - but honestly they were amazing at any song they played on the night. We'll not spoil it for you, but there was a particular 15 minute 90's mash up in the middle of the night that our guests absolutely loved!

The guys really made the day so memorable and our guests were talking about their music for weeks afterwards (amazing sign!). If you are looking for that something special on your wedding day, I would not hesitate to book TGH! I can promise you, you won't regret it!

The best wedding band you will find!!! High energy, kept everyone dancing. All the comments from guests after the wedding referred to the band. Flexible and affordable for small weddings but great for large ones too.

What a night!!! The Good Hustle were r recommended to us by the hotel, and after checking other videos online we decided to go and see one of their gigs in Galway. We were blown away and booked in the next day, best decision ever!

We opted for the five piece version with saxophone and DJ. They learned our first dance, played some jives and waltzes for the older crowd and then treated us to the most amazing night music, everything from David Bowie to Will Smith medleys . All of our guests were dancing throughout, all the way to a big send off at the end of the DJ set . It was a fantastic night, they really made our day, thank you so much lads. We highly recommend them, they're not at all cheesy, and are brilliant musicians and entertainers.

Absolutely fantastic band in everyway. They really made our day. Everyone is talking about them. They really got the crowd going and the band members are super friendly too. Nothing is a hassle.
They also provide a dj service which is super as the changeover is seamless. If you want a great memorable stressfree night id highly recommend The good hustle.

Absolutely brilliant they got our first dance 100% BB King & Eric Clapton which is not easy bang on. We had a small wedding the lads got everyone up they put their own unique twist on some old school and modern hits and took requests all night they provided us with the DJ too great value for money. My self and my wife are going to travel to Galway and spend a weekend just to see them play again. Thanks lads great night
