The Irish Horsebox Bar Hire is an award winning beverage and mobile bar company for weddings & events throughout Ireland. We assist our hosts and clients to organise and provide the best bar and drinks services for their guests during their most important events, helping to create life long memories.
We do this in a number of ways but are always open to ideas and suggestions on how we can make yours and your guests experience the best we can. Our Vintage flagship converted Rice Horsebox provides a fully customisable base for all types of drink services but we can also hire additional mobile bars and drinks stations to match any venue or occasion.
Our one-of-a-kind service will add a truly unique touch to your special occasion. Our professional team will be on hand from your enquiry up until your big day to help discuss your plans, ideal service and to deliver on your expectations. We can be your one stop shop or just help along the way to creating a unique menu, sourcing and collecting, to serving tasty drinks where and when you want.

We travel nationwide and can create our luxury bar service for you at your private venue, house or hotel. Check availability for your date as we have limited availability at certain times!
The Chapel Box: Mobile Cafe pre or post ceremony
Our longest running and most popular packages available is the The Chapel Box - delicious hot drinks and sweet treats served right outside the door of the Church or ceremony or anywhere you want! You can surprise your guests on arrival with delicious teas, coffees and luxurious hot chocolate or when they walk outside post the ceremony.
Our speciality coffee machines delivers coffees in seconds, so there's no big queues like other systems, we have many other options to help cater for large numbers like specialist drinks and catering stations along with unique dispensing options to scale to your number and can also provide unique talking points for guests.
We provide a full range of plant-based milks, tasty syrups, real cream and marshmallows in compostable cups! In the cooler months it makes for a lovely warm pick-me-up and catch up pre any travel to the next venue and then in the spring and summertime it is the perfect way for loved ones take a moment with a refreshing beverage and sweet treat. We also can provide a selection of specialist drinks and dry hire alcoholic drinks (Hot Toddies, Irish Coffees, Mulled Wine Prosecco & Champagne etc) for any toasts or receptions with a bang!

Travel is included within within 50km of Swords, County Dublin. Any additional kilometres to be travelled thereafter is charged at €0.70 cent per kilometre.

Drinks Receptions & Arrival Drinks:
Large numbers of complicated or custom drinks & cocktails quickly is one of our specialties and we love to provide creative and unique arrival drinks services for guests. It is the perfect way to greet guests when the enter the venue or certain sections of the day or timeline.
We have our vintage horsebox bar and also custom built unique 6ft vertical garden Prosecco wall along with multiple drink stands and stations that can be arranged to be self service or with a server helping guests.
These can be added to any other packages an services if required at special rates but stand alone services start from €1,200 for 2 hours
Mobile Bar Hire with a difference:
We are a full service mobile bar and events company with years of experience providing all shapes and sizes of drink services for weddings. There is something very special about being able to add enjoyment on what is already such a joyous and wonderful occasion.
Many couples are booking the bar for their cocktail services, reception drinks and day two parties, as it’s the ideal way to provide a speciality open bar service for guests without that awkward bar tab or cut-off time behind a traditional venue or hotel bar.
We do not sell or provide alcohol without a licence or venue's permission. We have a number of options to help and assist our clients including our two types of mobile bar services:
- - Dry Hire Bars: All our services and packages are Dry Hire (no alcohol sold or supplied), This means the client provides the alcohol and we plan and provide everything else. The packages are very customisable to suit all plans and budgets.
- - Supplied Bar service is provided through our trade suppliers at bulk cost price for you through an additional invoice. This is a done for you service, from start to finish so you do not have to worry about quantities, collections or deliveries.

Why you should enquire & book in when you can:
- We operate a first come first serve basis when it comes to booking & securing dates.
- One booking per day bases: Limited availability: We currently only have one unique horsebox bar available for hire so it is based on limited availability. We can provide some additional booking of our services from other bars or units but requires advanced planning.
- We would love to learn more about your ideal plans but be aware we already have a number of key dates and busy weekends provisionally booked in for 2023/2024.

Reviews of The Irish Horsebox Bar Hire
On the 13th of August, Tara from The Irish Horsebox Bar replied, confirming availability for our date and outlining the various packages they offered, what they included and their respective costs. This was a very welcome email, there was no ambiguity, it set out exactly what you got for your guests.
The package I wanted didn't feature very prominently on the photos section, I asked for some and was supplied with same promptly. All as you would hope for.
The next step was to complete and return the booking form. I struggled slightly with this, as I *think* it may have been an online form to complete. I actually printed out the form, filled in my relevant details in own, took a picture and sent it back as an attachment to confirm booking. This was followed by an EFT to their account with half of the agreed fee. They also ensure at this stage that there is power available (there is an option of a generator if not, apparently), and they also give a brief outline of how they operate, when they arrive etc. All very straightforward. They ask if they may take photos of the wedding party for promotional purposes also, which is a nice touch.
An automatically generated email arrives at 2 weeks out to remind you that the balance needs to be paid.
The day before the wedding, I received a call from the company, they would be passing my venue and wanted to see where was best position for the trailer regarding shelter, power access and ease of access for guests. We met at agreed time, and their input upon inspection helped pick the perfect spot. All systems go for the big day.
With everything going on on the morning, it was lovely to see the trailer in all its glory readying for the post mass crowds when I arrived.
It's a lovely trailer, visually very pleasing, so before it was even put to use I was delighted. I said my hellos in a lull of guests arriving, the 4 staff all busying themselves with all the necessary tasks to have it as they wanted.
After the ceremony, we eventually made our way around for a selection of photos with our photographer at the trailer. They had a glass off bubbly for the bride and groom, and a great welcome. As a while had passed before we got to it, we were unsure how popular the trailer had proved to be as it was nearly just us by then. We chatted with the very friendly, professional staff and they assured us they had indeed been busy, with quite a run on hot chocolates on the day. We stayed and enjoyed the coffee, tea and chocolates for a good while, taking advantage of the chance to recharge the batteries while also getting some great pictures. As requested in the email conversation with the guys, their own photographer was on hand to take advantage also. It was a really nice time, relaxed and fun in the middle of the madness. We eventually moved along to our next photo setting, thanking the Irish Horsebox Bar.
As promised, there was no sign of the presence of a mobile café after the event, the bins they provided were well enough used, but any stray cups, lids, sugar or sweet papers were cleaned before they set off for home. We continued to have a fantastic day and night and following day also, but we are still getting so much positive feedback from our guests about The Irish Horsebox Bar. Thankfully they loved it, the idea, the look, the service, the product supplied. It has been a great reflection on our day, and left a huge positive in the minds of our guests on a miserable day, weather wise. In fact I was speaking with our photographer today and he gave out the number of The Irish Horsebox Bar to 3 people just this week, solely on the back of their Facebook posts from our wedding. This is more a note of thanks than a review. The Irish Horsebox Bar are not going to need positive reviews to drum up business. They have the perfect product, delivered with the perfect service, from the perfect setting for your perfect day. Thanks for the coffee, the pictures and the memories.
They also provided teas, coffees and hot chocolate at our drinks reception. All our guests commented on how friendly and efficient they were. We would highly recommend the Irish Horsebox to anyone having a wedding or event and want to provide their guests with something a bit different.
