The Unusual Suspects

The Unusual Suspects played for our wedding in December and I couldn't fault them. They really set the tone for the night and we couldn't have asked anymore of them. Every guest was full of praise for them and they suited everyone. From the first dance to their last song the energy was 100%. A pleasure to deal with before hand and on the night. I couldn't recommend them enough.

Honestly, these guys are phenomenal. The energy they bring is unreal, literally non stop, and they're some craic. They were more than happy to play a pretty niche first dance song and a special request in the middle of their set. The dance floor was packed all night and it was a big dance floor. Couldn't recommend more.

The Unusual Suspects stood out immediately when we tried to find a band about two years ahead of our big day. There was something about them we couldn't ignore, and when we eventually got to see them play in Cork a few weeks ahead of our wedding we were blown away. I could listen to these guys play all night, they sound so good and are absolutely on top of their set and their performance. And they were all so great to chat to after they had finished, before leaving us in safe hands with DJ Keith, I really can't recommend them highly enough.

The Unusual Suspects are one of the best wedding bands that we have ever come across! Initially we had spent time travelling to see other bands before we remembered the band that we had seen at a wedding a few weeks previously....The Unusual Suspects. They came highly recommended! We had originally booked the 5th of June 2020, then changed to the 12th of June 2021 and finally got our day on the 02nd of April 2022 and Lenny couldn't have been more accommodating.

On the night of the wedding the dance floor was full all night and the lads just kept playing, they were unreal. Three months later and people are still talking about the band and DJ. The dance floor wasn't big enough for us! Thanks a million, it added to our special day! ????

I couldn't say enough good things about these guys. After seeing them play many times before, we knew we wanted them to play at our wedding as soon as we booked it. Their manager Lenny is so easy to deal with and very prompt on returning emails; a pleasure to deal with! Everyone single one of these guys put their heart and soul into their gigs. They will keep the dancefloor full all night. The energy they have is unreal. All of our guests are talking about them. Don't hesitate in booking these guys if you want a top class band to play at your wedding

I cannot recommend the Unusual Suspects highly enough. Very easy to deal with. Brilliant performance on the night. They are even better live than their promo videos. They did our first dance (Ho Hey) live while also nailing brilliant versions of Freed from Desire and Crazy in Love (among others) later in the night. They even threw in a few Christmas songs and a Waltz set so it is fair to say they can do it all. They kept the dance floor full all night. The brass adds so much to the performance and the atmosphere. They are also really good at bringing the newly married couple back to the centre of the dance floor over the course of the night. Really enjoyed it; thanks lads!

The Unusual Suspects were absolutely amazing at our wedding reception. All of guests commented on how amazing they were and asking who the band was. Some guests commented saying it was like a concert. The music was excellent with a good mix of songs and the dancefloor was never empty. They really added to the enjoyment of the night. Lenny was great to deal with too in the run up to the wedding. DJ Keith did a fantastic job too once the band had finished. I would 100% recommend The Unusual Suspects. We booked The Unusual Suspects for our wedding during the covid-19 lockdown without having the opportunity to see them perform live and although we were a little nervous about how the music would go on the day, we had absolutely no need to be nervous. The dance floor was full from their first song to the last and seeing many of our older wedding guests on the dance floor all night spoke volumes about how good they were at getting the crowd going and was fantastic to see after the tough 18 months we have had! I would highly recommend Lenny and the band to play at your wedding! If you are looking for high energy entertainment that will get everyone on their feet, this is the right band! And the brass section adds an extra element that really gets the crowd going! Highly recommend!

I cannot recommend the guys enough! They were absolutely amazing on the day and I cant speak highly enough of them! The dance floor was packed for the whole night and we didn't want it to end! Anytime we have met our guests since they mention how great they were. We were absolutely delighted with them. Communication with Lenny was great and we really appreciated their flexibility when we changed our wedding date due to covid.

These guys were just fantastic!!! They are really talented and so much more than "just a wedding band"...they have an expansive, varied set list and it is guaranteed to get an amazing party going. We had The Unusual Suspects for our wedding and I highly recommend them if you are looking for a band to have the dance floor full for the night! They learned our first dance (After All by the Frank and Walters) which just added to our memorble day. The variety of music they played catered to every taste. The Unusual Suspects played at our wedding in Kilkenny last weekend. They were amazing. We are still getting so many compliments form our guests about them, they were a major hit. They were just fantastic from start to finish. The dance floor was full all night long. Insomnia was absolutely brilliant. It was such a great way to finish. We were over the moon and it made our night. The band was one of our hardest decisions. We have to say, we 100% made the right decision and we couldn't be happier. I really wanted a brass section and the guys did not fail to wow us and our crowd. We can't recommend them highly enough. Thank you all so much and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

Absolutely fantastic wedding band/DJ. The dance floor was full from start to finish and we have had loads of people asking who the band was and commenting on how amazing they were. Better late than never! We had The Unusual Suspects for our wedding on 27th July and honestly the made the whole day. The lads were top notch. They had everyone on the dance floor from 6-91 years old! Everyone complimented how good they were.


"That's the best band I've seen" was what most people said!


To go from playing a waltz set to having a rave (which went down a treat) was incredible and a true testament to their talent.

Best entertainment ever, totally amazing

We would like to thank the Unusual Suspects for making the celebrations of our wedding , one of the best nights we've ever had.
All the guests loved it , ye had everybody on the dance floor all night and we couldn't ask for anymore. Even the staff were dancing behind the bar all night! Thank you!

We were so happy with our choice of the unusual suspects! They entertained the crowd all night, had a great mix of music and really got the crowd involved, at one stage they had the room split in two, boys vs girls to see who could sing the loudest! So much fun, would highly recommend.
