Uilleann Pipes - Tommy Keane

An Trian Láir (Middle Third), Maree, Oranmore, Co. Galway

Tommy Keane plays the uilleann pipes which has been described as '' The Sound of Ireland ''. It is a sound which is beautiful and haunting and has enhanced many occasions. Tommy has played and recorded with many leading Irish traditional music artists. For your wedding,  he performs in a trio (uilleann pipes, concertina & organ) or duet (pipes & organ) offering the slower, graceful airs suitable for the church ceremony or livelier music for the drinks reception, (with fiddle instead of organ). Tommy also plays whistle, flute, low whistle and mandolin which ensures a variety of sound colours for your ceremony.

Tommy and his party offered a unique touch to our wedding with the church music (pipes, flute, fiddle and concertina)and again at the drinks reception. Many guests commented on the music complimenting Tommy and his family on the versatlilty and suitability for the surroundings and the occasion.
I would recommend them as a group for that unique twist to the day!

We got married in the beautiful, tiny Ballynahinch Church in Connemara last December. Tommy and his daughter Siobhan provided the perfect atmosphere with a mix of uilleann pipes, keyboard and flute. The music was commented on by so many of our guests and it really made the church ceremony special and memorable. Tommy was so easy to deal with and I would highly recommend them as a group.

Tommy and his group played for our wedding last November in Cloghan Castle and they were fantastic, both in terms of quality of music and also flexibility of styles.
He was really reliable and I can highly recommend him.
