Throughout your wedding day, I go about capturing moments through my discrete, low key filming style.
So often brides tell me, "I didn't notice you all day Gordon". This is down to my approach. In fact, I often get mistaken for the photographer, due to my compact camera set up.
Nothing will make your guests feel more conscious and uncomfortable than the video guy with the giant camera. People, in general, don't like to be filmed, that's why I use small, low key camera setups. I blend seamlessly into each wedding day and go about filming throughout the day without causing much of a fuss.
I don't ask anyone to pose for shots or try to "create moments".
The days' events will just happen and I'm there to capture them when they do.
On your wedding day you want a videographer whos respectful of the day, enjoys being around people, who's professional and has a calm demeanor. But most of all you want a videographer whos easy to get along with.

Would highly recommend Gordon for all your wedding videography needs. He was so professional, friendly, well able to have the laugh. He blended right in to my wedding morning like he was one of the party. A lovely lovely person to have on your wedding day. From the minute I submitted an interest for availability he was prompt and efficient. From looking at his previous work it was a no brainer to pick WedFilms for our wedding and it did not disappoint. It surpassed expectations for us, we are so grateful and thrilled with our videos. To have them broken down into short and long is amazing. Thank you Gordon. We got married in May 2023 and had Gordon as our videographer. Honestly on the day you would hardly have noticed Gordon was even about, however he beautifully captured all the special moments and created beautiful videos of our day. Gordon worked very well with our photographer and was very professional. The sound quality of our church singer in particular was captured excellently in his videos. One month to the day after our wedding we had our complete wedding day video, our full ceremony video, our speeches and also a short edit ?reel? type video. Gordon used voiceovers from our vows, our priest, our wedding blessing and our speeches to enhance the videos perfectly. He even managed to capture our house and our garden drinks reception at our hotel on drone footage, something we didn't even know had happened until we saw the videos.

Gordon is amazing at what he does. We had to postpone our wedding due to covid and he couldn't have been more accommodating and understanding. One our wedding day we didn't even realise he was there he doesn't have the camera in your face but when you do have him near he is so much fun to have around you. The videos are outstanding and everyone commented how amazing the short video was. If your looking for a videoographer gordon is your only man for the job!

We were so delighted with the videos that Gordon made for us of our wedding day.
First of all, and most importantly, Gordon himself is such a wonderful person and great to have around on the day. He was very discreet in capturing all of the footage. He was very calm and it was great to have him around in the morning in particular when there is a lot of nervous energy around. He was also great fun... it was like having a friend we've known for years doing the job
Secondly, we received our videos within a few weeks of our wedding. We were not expecting that at all and were very pleasantly surprised. It was so lovely to be able to share the videos with friends and family so soon after the event, especially the friends who couldn't be with us on the day itself.
Finally, the quality of the videos themselves is just amazing. Gordon is so talented at what he does and the videos he created really capture the feeling of the day. It is like re-living the day every time we watch. It is also very entertaining to watch back on the videos... the day goes by so quickly that each time we watch, we learn something new about what happened!

I would highly recommend Gordon to any future wedding couple. He did an amazing job capturing so much of our special day and we're delighted to have a collection of many snapshots from our day to treasure forever. Gordon was so organised, helpful and professional from the first contact up to receiving the videos. You hardly noticed he was videoing on the day and yet when with us as a couple he was so comfortable to be around and we always had lots of fun. The quality of the videos blew us away, especially the drone footage throughout the day. Thank you Gordon.

We got married in Sept 2020 during the pandemic. Particularly as we couldn't have all of our friends and family with us on the day, videos felt all the more important. Gordon worked his magic in the background to capture the most beautiful moments. He edited them within days of the wedding which was really appreciated by our friends & family abroad - many tears of joy were shed by aunties across the globe!

I would highly recommend Gordon to anyone looking for a wedding videographer. From the first day I spoke with him I knew he was was the person I wanted to capture our wedding day. He arrived at the hotel exactly when he said he would and didn't leave until easily 10.30pm. He is very discreet and not in your face at all. He blended in like one of the wedding guests and captured lovely moments of our wedding, ones I can't even remember happened. A true professional at his job. I wish I could do it all over again. A friend for life. X
