Everything was top class by the staff at the Hotel Kilmore. They could not have done anymore for us. People are still talking about the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff so we are very grateful for everyone at the Hotel Kilmore.

Absolutely fantastic hotel, we could not fault the Kilmore. Nothing was any hassle for the staff,anything we requested was completed without having to follow up. All staff were lovely to deal with and very prompt in responding to any queries. Mary our wedding coordinator was a pleasure to deal with, she ensured our day was relaxed and stress free. .Food and service was excellent, our guests couldn't get over how good the food was.Would highly recommend the Kilmore Hotel as a wedding venue. Thanks for making our day so memorable.

A big thank you to the management and staff of the hotel Kilmore especially Paul, Martin, Mary & Kevin , who made organising our wedding from overseas soo easy. Mary and her team were very responsive and helpful in any query we had, from the moment we arrived until we checked out we were made feel very welcome. From the very first moment we stepped foot into Hotel Kilmore we knew instantly it was for us. Such a warm and welcoming atmosphere not to mention the STUNNING ball room for our reception dinner combined with the outdoor garden area for reception drinks. They went above and beyond for our special day. Nothing was too much trouble, such attention to detail. Mary put us at ease from our very first meeting. Such a lovely, bubbly and friendly person. We had great laughs and she just took control of everything which made the whole experience stress free and so enjoyable! She even recommended bands, reception music, photography..the list was endless. The food was outstanding and catered to our preference. People who were at the wedding kept going on about the quality of food and the first class service. Even now when I meet people they still say how it was the best wedding they were ever at. This hotel is a hidden gem!! Such a warm, welcoming, friendly, efficient and experienced staff. It was the best decision we ever made. If you're searching for a wedding venue search no more!! If you are considering getting married, we would highly recommend the Hotel Kilmore as a wedding venue. From the moment we had our viewing, we fell in love with the Hotel Kilmore and the staff. Mary our dedicated wedding planner was always on hand to help when needed and extremely qick to respond to any of our questions or queries. The rest of the staff at the Hotel were also exceptional and were a pleasure to work with. The food was just amazing we went with Steak and Turkey and Ham for mains, all our guests were very impressed with their food and were amazed at how the chef could make perfect steaks all around considering we had over 200 guests attend the day. The service was all just perfect from the moment we arrived to the Kilmore on the evening before we were made feel so special. The Hotel Kilmore has everything you need in one location, a beautifully decorated ceremony and reception room,ball room, gorgeous gardens for photographs, amazing food and staff who go above and beyond to make your wedding day a memorable one! We wish we could do it all again... and wouldn't dream of changimg a single thing.Thank you to Mary and all who helped make our day so special and an unforgettable day.

Had our wedding in the hotel kilmore county cavan on 22nd july , from start to finish the hotel and staff were absolutely flawless. All of our guests said best wedding ever so to any couple thinking of getting married here, we HIGHLY recommended it, mary is an amazing wedding organiser and the staff on the day were fantastic. We had an amazing experience with the Kilmore as our hotel of choice fornour wedding. We could not speak highly enough of the service provided on the day, staff could not do enough for us. The waiting staff were so efficient food was served so promptly around the room and so professionally. The meal was class as we knew it would be. Mary our coordinator was brilliant all through our planning and always happy to answer queries. Management checked in throughout our day and were happy to assist with anything.
Overall we had the most special day and everyone at the Kilmore made sure of this. Even on check out staff had a genuine interest in talking about how our day went and were so friendly and enthusiastic throughout.

We had our wedding in the Kilmore in June. From that 1st day we checked out the Kilmore as a potential venue right through to our wedding day we were met with nothing but friendly courteous and helpful staff. Mary (wedding coordinator) had the patience of a Saint and even on the last few days before the wedding was on hand to help with any query or issue. The day of our wedding went without a hitch. The banquet manager Leanne and all the other staff were all so professional but also friendly and easy going which helped keep our day stressfree and the nerves at bay. They were a step ahead all the time ensuring the smooth running of the day. We honestly couldn't have been happier with our choice in venue.

We had our wedding on the 17th June in Hotel Kilmore , it was the most beautiful day and there was absolutely no faults with the hotel, service or food. Our wedding coordinator Mary helped us plan the most magical day and everything went so smooth. The hotel was absolutely fantastic to deal with and nothing was a problem. From the moment we went in until we left we could not fault the service. We had so many guests contact us to say what a great day it was and the food was piping hot and very tasty. We had the best day ever and will forever rate Hotel Kilmore.

The Kilmore are absolutely amazing at what they do. They go above and beyond! Every staff member is so professional and kind. We could not have asked for a better day for our wedding day. We didn't have to think of anything but enjoying ourselves on the day because they had everything covered. The food was absolutely amazing. We have had guests make so many comments to us about how brilliant the hotel was from our wedding meal, to the rooms, to breakfast the next morning. We couldn't fault them! The suppliers they work with or recommended were all top class as well. They really help you create a day that suits you. Mary was fantastic at guiding us. We were so relaxed on the day and enjoyed every second of it and I know it was because we trusted that they had everything covered, which they did! We couldn't recommend The Kilmore enough! We had our wedding on the 15th of April in the Kilmore Hotel and it was just absolutely fantastic. The service was second to none. I loved it, the way the staff carried themselves just so professional! The food was amazing. Everyone was talking about how good the food was. The bridal party & family opted to stay in the hotel the night before the wedding so there was no rushing on the morning of the wedding. The hotel provided a beautiful room to use for hair, makeup, and breakfast.
Staff:
From the moment we met Mary, she was a delight, easy to talk to and nothing was a problem. Mary was available on phone or email whenever we reached out. Paul, Leanne & Emily were fantastic on the day and made sure everything went off without a hitch. Special thanks to Emily she was an angel of the day (fantastic at her job).
The ladies on the front desk are so friendly and helpful.
Two of my vendors actually commented on how helpful and pleasant the staff were in the Kilmore

Ceremony room: (Sheelin Room) was beautiful and laid out by the hotel staff as we wished. Perfect size and made the ceremony feel very intimate. Colour schemes and decoration provided are great and means no need for extra expense here.
Gardens: we wanted to spend as much as our family & friends on the day, so we took all pictures on the grounds. They were perfect, with plenty of areas for different shots.
Reception area: Beautiful seated area next to the terrace for sunny afternoons. The hotel set up was beautiful, comfortable, and relaxed.
Dining room: The room was laid out beautifully with our choice of centerpieces and decoration. Everyone raved about the food and the service.
Bar & Restaurant:
The food & drinks in the restaurant are great & staff are very friendly and chatty. Very reasonably priced for a hotel and had good portion sizes, cocktails were great also.
Rooms:
Bridal suite was beautiful, only wish we had more time to send in the room. Guests all enjoyed their rooms. We have stayed in the hotel now a number of times and have never had a fault with the rooms.
Could not find a fault with the whole day. Would 100% recommend The Kilmore to anyone looking to book their wedding.

Wow what can I say about the amazing Kilmore Hotel, from the moment we had our viewing we knew the Kilmore was where
we wanted to have our special day and it certainly did not disappoint. Mary made our lives so much easier and took the pressure off us and was always on hand to help. Mary was extremely responsive with any of our questions or queries. The Staff were top class and were extremely friendly. The wedding meal was divine and our guests were very impressed with the food, we were all extremely impressed by food arriving out to the residents bar in the early hours of the morning. We would highly recommend Kilmore Hotel to anyone. If you want great valve, great service and great food, then look no further then Kilmore hotel. Thank you so much Kilmore hotel for making our day so special. We are looking forward to visiting the hotel again in the near future.

Where do I start, it was brilliant from the time we arrange to meet Mary Quigley, The wedding co-ordinator. And up until the day of the wedding, She and her staff could not do enough for us. The Kilmore offer brilliant choices in wedding packages, and nothing is to much trouble.

We don't know were start. From our 1st meeting with Paul we knew the Hotel Kilmore was going to be our wedding venue. With different packages to offer including photographers & wedding bands. We opt for Lavery Photography & we booked the band separately. We couldn't recommend Lavery enough so professional & such attention to detail. The Kilmore have every detailed covered took so much pressure off, from providing centrepieces for the tables to the mirror stand for the table plan which they also organise. We couldn't have done it all without the help of Mary she is just simply the best no email or phone call was left unturned. Nothing was ever to much to ask for. The staff on the day were extremely helpful & professional. The food & the service was absolutely brilliant, our guests are still talking about it. Everything was to the highest standard we had the best day from start to finish. We would highly recommend the Hotel Kilmore.

Everything was great from start to finish. Staff were so helpful and quick in responding to enquiries - nothing was too much trouble for them. They were very flexible and open to requests. Menu tasting was gorgeous too. The wedding package was great, as the photographer and band were included (both were excellent). There was a choice of 4 bands and 2 photographers which ticked 2 big things off the list and we hadn't to go looking for suppliers. The food was excellent and the service too. Overall, I would highly recommend Hotel Kilmore for anyone looking to book their wedding.

Stephen and I had our wedding reception in the Hotel Kilmore back in February.
I myself am local to the Hotel but have moved to Donegal in the last few years, so i would hear a lot of great complements from other people attending weddings there.
From the first point of contact with the hotel it was great and they where very accommodating.
Orla, Colm and Mary is some of the great people we dealt with and mead the planning easier.
The hotel itself is lovely and they have recently done a lot of renovating to both the hotel and the gardens. The drinks reception area is cosy and relaxing, the function room is fab nice and bright.
The service was great and most importantly the food was hot and delicious, we are still receiving compliments on the food from our guests.
I myself am local to the Hotel but have moved to Donegal in the last few years, so i would hear a lot of great complements from other people attending weddings there.

Orla, Colm and Mary is some of the great people we dealt with and mead the planning easier.
The hotel itself is lovely and they have recently done a lot of renovating to both the hotel and the gardens. The drinks reception area is cosy and relaxing, the function room is fab nice and bright.
The service was great and most importantly the food was hot and delicious, we are still receiving compliments on the food from our guests.

From the showcase day, the menu tasting evening, to the wedding day itself the service provided by the staff at the Hotel Kilmore was first class. Every member of staff from our wedding co-ordinator Mary, the Manager Paul, the bar and dinner servers were excellent and could not do enough for us. This Hotel is very experienced in ensuring that the day goes perfect and ourselves, our families and all of our guests could not have asked for better. The food was absolutely delicious also, would highly recommend the Hotel Kilmore to any couple exploring options for their wedding day. Thanks again for everything.

We recently had our wedding reception at The Hotel Kilmore. The Hotel itself is beautiful, and was just the perfect location for us & our guests! The staff were amazing as well! Every member of the team at the hotel was so helpful, professional and friendly, but I have to say a special thank you to Mary, she thought of everything & was a pleasure to deal with, her & her colleagues ensured our day ran so smoothly, the food and service was impeccable, If you have your wedding here, it will be one of the best decisions you ever make. It was a pleasure to deal with people so excellent at what they do!

We had our wedding in the hotel kilmore in December and i’m not sure where to start for this absolutely incredible experience. My husband and I had the wedding of our dreams. From the minute we went to view the kilmore Paul and everyone went above and beyond to help us make our day so special. We had to postpone and move our date due to covid but nothing was any trouble. Mary made every effort to accommodate us in every way to make it the most special day for us. They were always quick to respond, making communication simple. We had a our wedding photos taken at the hotel and they turned out amazing. All our guests complimented the food and service from start to finish, it was flawless. Honestly a day I wish I could do all over again thanks to this amazing venue

We got married in the Hotel Kilmore on December 16th 2022. We could not thank them enough for all their support! We had a lot of people travelling for the wedding and the Kilmore spent hours sorting rooms for us and ensuring all our guests were looked after! The food provided all weekend was exceptional, we could not have asked for more!

From the day we went to view the Hotel Kilmore as a wedding venue, we met Paul who showed us around and went through all packages and available dates with us. Following on we dealt with Mary for all other details but Paul was always happy to greet us when we arrived at the Hotel. Mary was so helpful and kept us informed with every detail and kept us updated with room availability etc also as we had some guests that left it last minute to get a booking.
Our guests commented on the spread present on arrival with the hot whiskey reception going down a treat, the dinner served was delicious and the service was top class.
We know that another family member along with a friend who was in attendance have both booked their wedding dates with the Hotel Kilmore since our wedding day as they were also impressed with the service provided.

We had our wedding in the Hotel Kilmore on 18th November. We met with Mary and the team in February 2022 and from that moment we were treated extremely well and no question or email was left unattended. We had everything we possibly could have wanted with their help. The hotel itself is beautiful and they have a beautifully (and recently) decorated function room. Their gardens are also stunning. Mary was so helpful and made organising the wedding so easy. The day before the team took notes on what we dropped off and everything we asked for was delivered on the day but with even more elegance. The food was amazing. We had 300+ guests and every plate came out piping hot and our guests gushed about the meal and how beautiful it was. We really cannot speak more highly of the hotel and the team that work in it. We had the most stunning day in the Hotel Kilmore.

We had our wedding day in the Kilmore on 11th November 2022, our day exceeded anything we had ever dreamed of.

We went for the package that included Powerstruggle Band and Conor Lunney photographer. Both were amazing, we would highly recommend them.

Our wedding took place in November. The day was perfect in every respect. The accommodation, food, and staff were all amazing. All of our guests praised the meal and service all day long. Firstly just want to say, how absolutely amazing the kilmore where!. From start to finish they where always straight to the point and very efficient in replys and organising to the highest standard!. We where so lucky to have the kilmore help us when we had to postpone the year before from covid, they insured us all would be sorted and not to worry about anything. We had the best day at our wedding at the Kilmore, All the staff were excellent with and couldn't do enough for us on the day. Mary our wedding coordinator was excellent and helped with everything we asked. Lovely hotel and food was 10 out of 10. The only thing we were a little disappointed about was our entrance music we had changed but it wasn't the right music when we came into the room and we had requested for one of our guests to have steak but when he asked for this on the day he was told he couldn't have this. This was a little stressful on the day as he had come up and told us after, But other that this minor things we had the best day we could have asked for, we will definitely be visiting the hotel again soon xx

This Venue had everything we wanted for our wedding. A lovely room to host our wedding ceremony that was right beside our reception room and drinks reception room so that all our guests were together at all times, a Beautiful function room that was elegantly decorated, we had nothing to add. The food was excellent, all our guests were happy and full. The honeymoon suite was excellent and we stayed the following night too, we didn’t want to leave.
The staff were well trained and very efficient although my groom did mention that the bar was rather busy at times and that we could have used another bar tender or two so our guests got served a bit quicker.
Our wedding co ordinator Mary was a pleasure to work with, I’ll miss our chats but I’m glad to be married now! I would definitely recommend the Kilmore to future couples. It really was a magical day.

From the day we got engaged at the fountain,to finally celebrating our wedding day October past in the Kilmore everything was made so easy and that's all thanks to the Wedding Coordinator, Mary was fantastic and really went above and beyond to make sure we had the best day and it was just prefect, better then I even imagined. The room was beautiful, the food was first class and even now people are still talking about how good it was, there was plenty of everything it was faultless, The service was outstanding everything ran so smooth thanks to Paul, Leanne and the rest of the staff for not only looking after ourselves but making sure our guests were so well looked after to. The hotel itself is beautiful it's just so warming as soon as you walk in through the front door, you will not be disappointed if use choose this venue for your special day it really was just perfect I would go and experience it all again in a heartbeat. Great food, Great music, plenty of food, drink and great craic it's the perfect place.

Kilmore Hotel is a top hotel! I wouldn’t have one bad comment about it. The staff are so helpful especially Mary for helping me plan my wedding day, she was always on the other side of the phone if there was any questions I had.

Cannot recommend this hotel and the staff enough! Every single staff member snd wedding team member was absolutely amazing! The food the service and constant reassurance as to what is going to happen on the day was first class. Everyone talked about the wedding room the staff the food and how hot it was coming out which is highly unusual at a wedding and the bedrooms which are so clean and tidy and modern ???? if we had to do it all over again we would pick the kilmore every time with no regrets x

Hotel Kilmore is a gorgeous hotel and is kept so clean, tidy and comfortable. Food was delicious and I had received many compliments from wedding guests which was fantastic considering there were over 250 guests to cater to! The bedrooms including the bridal suite were lovely. Where do we begin, we booked Hotel Kilmore when we first got engaged in January 2018 and from then to now we couldn’t have asked for better. They were fantastic throughout, we originally had booked our wedding for March 2020 and finally got our day on the 25th of august 2022..

The service at the kilmore hotel to organise our wedding was top class. The organising of the wedding was excellent it was enjoyable and no way stressful. The way that the kilmore presents the wedding setting in both the ball room and drinks reception was so effective and really adds to the wedding. On the day the food and drinks was next level we got steak and salmon and for weeks people were talking about it after. We have since been to weddings in the kilmore from our own day and the quality and service was just as good as our own day. It’s top class for a wedding

From the day we got engaged to finally celebrating our wedding day August past in the Kilmore everything was made so easy and that's all thanks to the Wedding Coordinator, Mary was fantastic and really went above and beyond to make sure we had the best day and it was just prefect, better then I even imagined. The room was beautiful, the food was first class and even now people are still talking about how good it was, there was plenty of everything it was faultless, The service was outstanding everything ran so smooth thanks to Paul, Leanne and the rest of the staff for not only looking after ourselves but making sure our guests were so well looked after to. The hotel itself is beautiful it's just so warming as soon as you walk in through the front door, you will not be disappointed if use choose this venue for your special day it really was just perfect I would go and experience it all again in a heartbeat. Great food, Great music, plenty of food, drink and great craic it's the perfect place.

The Hotel Kilmore, amazing venue for wedding reception and also civil ceremony, they where amazing from start to finish, we had to postpone 3 times due to covid 19 and they worked with us every step of the way.
On arrival the night before i was made feel the number one priority , even when checking out after the wedding, all guests where catered for and nothing seemed to silly for the hotel to sort for you even down to my baby nephews meal requirements of a gravy cano for his dinner was done.
I have a disability and even on the day of the wedding no matter where i turned there was a staff member with a chair waiting for me incase i needed to sit down. They are absolutely amazong and so very very attentive

When choosing our venue I didn’t give it a second thought I literally rang Paul Henry gave him our wish list dates and booked it over the phone! There is no comparison when you put the quality of food & standard the hotel kilmore has to offer with any other hotel in cavan. It’s so personal and the team are very well mentored and perform to a high standard. Our high numbers were never an issue an anything we suggested was never a problem. For me the hotel kilmore is definitely Cavan’s flagship hotel for consistency when it comes to food and customer service. I am proud to say my christening & wedding were both celebrated there along with many other memorable occasions.
I would do it all over again and still choose the hotel kilmore.

Hotel Kilmore were absolutely fantastic! Mary was a pleasure to deal with, always on hand to answer any questions. On the day the wait and bar staff were excellent, so attentive and professional. The main highlight for most of our guests was the food - everyone said how delicious it was and how generous the portions were. We really can’t recommend Hotel Kilmore enough for making our special day so memorable.

We held our wedding in the Kilmore Hotel cavan. We had the most amazing day from start to finish we are so glad we choose the Kilmore as our venue. We only booked are wedding in February of this year and got married in July, Paul the Manager was so helpful and was very accomdating that we didn't even look at a second venue as all he offered us on the day was just perfect. Our wedding co ordinator Mary was just excellent at her job. She was very welcoming and polite when dealing with us at all times. We had a fabulous welcoming reception laid on for us and our guests. Our dinner was top class guests still talk about the food at our wedding. On and all everything was just perfect and the Kilmore could not have done enough for us. We would highly recommend the Kilmore for their wedding.

The Hotel Kilmore is a wonderful Venue. It is very homely and the food is wonderful. The packages they offer are varied and excellent value for money. All of the staff who work there are friendly and efficient. Their reputation exceeds all of my expectations and they really go above and beyond for the wedding couple. We had our wedding there in July 2022, we live in newyork and what a pleasure it was to have the staff from the kilmore help me throughout the process. They were nothing but helpful and very responsive with me being over seas. And all off my family from the north and newyork were just thrilled how accommodating and nice the staff was. We can not rave about the wedding meal anymore it was just our off this world for a wedding. I can’t rave about the kilmore anymore it’s an absolutely fantastic hotel was amazing staff!

We celebrated our wedding in the Kilmore on the 1st of July and our day was magical. This was our 3rd date due to covid and the Kilmore was very helpful and accommodating with moving all the dates. The wedding co-ordinators we dealt with over the last 3 years were extremely helpful. They responded to every email and were more than happy to answer any questions and to help with the small details. The ball room looked amazing and like always the Kilmore provided a spectacular meal.

We got married in the Hotel Kilmore at the end of June and we can only describe it as exceptional! Mary and the whole team in the Kilmore could not have done enough for us! The food was excellent and we even had a plate of sandwiches sent up to the bridal suite for a late night snack. The accommodation was brilliant and very clean! Everyone enjoyed their experience immensely! We even had our day 2 of the wedding here and the staff were more then accommodating towards us! We will definitely be back!

We recently had our wedding in The Hotel Kilmore, I honestly could not speak more highly of the venue. From beginning to end every single aspect of the planning and the day was so easy and straight forward with the help of Mary and the whole wedding team. From day one we fell in love with the venue. Mary from day one was extremely helpful, she helped us with everything that we needed and was always available when we needed her. From the moment we viewed this wonderful venue we knew we would be in great hands. Mary, our wedding coordinator could not have been more attentive and helpful through the entire process. On the day, the food was outstanding, we have had so many comments on how delicious it was. The staff on the day were fantastic - A special mention to Leanne! The hotel is immaculate, so clean. Myself and my now husband celebrated our wedding at the Hotel Kilmore in May 2022 . We had a wonderful experience. Every staff member we encountered, from our wedding coordinator to the check- in were delightful and eager to help. We where meant to get married in July 2021 but due to covid we changed our dates and the kilmore where so accommodating and helpful to us when we decided to make the change. We had the best day and the food was out of this world .Our guests have complimented how beautiful the food was and we had a couple of vegans who said it was the best Vegan food they ever had. The bridal suite is amazing and our guests complemented the other rooms. If you are thinking of having your wedding or a break away at the hotel Kilmore we could not recommend it anymore. Originally we were meant to get married in 2020 but like so many other couples we had to make the hard decision to postpone our wedding twice. The hotel were so understanding and helped us in any way possible. They even rang us on our original wedding date to let us know that they thinking of us on that date and if there could help with anything, which both of us thought was very kind and thoughtful.
Eventually when our wedding date in 2022 was approaching Mary and the wedding team were very prompt with replying to emails and answering any queries we had. Nothing was an issue to the hotel at all.
The day of our wedding was just perfect. All the staff of the hotel were so friendly and everyone who attended our wedding were commenting about how fantastic the food and service was.

The only problem we had was that people weren’t being offered the wedding rate when they rang to book room, apart from that the whole experience went well. The staff were very helpful and food was lovely.

We had our wedding in the Hotel Kilmore on 07.05.2022 and was the most perfect day from start to finish. We had the pleasure of working with Mary as our wedding coordinator and she was on hand to deal with any special request we had, late additions/edits to the table plan and ensured the day went to plan. All of our guests raved about the food and service they received throughout the day which was great to hear.
Also we were so blessed with the weather which meant we and our guests could enjoy the courtyard and lovely gardens around the hotel.

Mary, Paul & all of the team went above & beyond for us to make sure everything was perfect. Mary was so helpful through all of our planning, nothing was an issue. From the very first time we visited the hotel a few years ago to view it for our wedding venue right through until & throughout our wedding day every one of the staff we met on each visit were so friendly & helpful. The Kilmore Hotel was the most perfect place to celebrate our wedding. The staff, food and accomodation was everything we dreamed off. Our guests were very complimentary of the venue, staff and food(&drink). Exceptionally reasonably priced for all. WOW! What can we say about The Hotel Kilmore when it came to our wedding?
Simply the best team to deal with. The guests have raved to us about the food and the service non stop since the wedding.
We were in contact with Mary right up until the day before the wedding re: guests dietary requirements, guests unable to attend, added extras we wished for on the day (highly recommend the gin cart and Heineken keg btw!) Mary could not do enough for us.
For us, we never even questioned having our wedding anywhere else. We have been guests at weddings in the Hotel Kilmore on numerous occasions and have always been blown away by their professionalism and 5 star service.
We cannot thank the team enough.

We had our wedding reception on 2/4/22 at the kilmore and it was the best day we could have imagined. We had both been guests at previous weddings in the kilmore over a number of years and the food and service was always brilliant so we didnt even have to consider any other venue when it came to our big day!! The food and service was brilliant on the day and the guests had so many good things to say about the hotel and the food afterwards. We had our Wedding Day on Saturday 26th February 2022. There wasn't anything out of place from start to finish. The guests were greeted with a wonderful selection of food and drinks, a beautiful meal and very helpful and friendly staff. We originally were supposed to get married in March 2020 and Mary and the staff were so helpful to us trying to re-arrange our new Wedding date. We had the best day of our lives and we're so happy that we chose the Hotel Kilmore as our reception. We would highly recommend!

We had the best day of our lives celebrating our wedding day on the 11th February 2022 in the Hotel Kilmore.
From the moment we walked into the Kilmore for a wedding viewing with Órla, it was so homely and welcoming from the get go. The grounds of the hotel, the ballroom set up for weddings, the bridal suite, everything was just perfect. The packages that they offer to include band/DJ and photographer made things so much easier for us and took that pressure away from us as well. We had a look at some other venues on the same day but none of them compared to the Hotel Kilmore, and it was an easy Yes for us to book our wedding with them.
From that day to our wedding day Órla and Mary were a fantastic help to us in every way. No question was too much or too silly a question to ask them, they were just so helpful with everything, especially with the uncertainty with numbers, restrictions, etc. Everything was just so easy and they couldn't have been more helpful from start to finish.
The day itself was fantastic and we would do it all again in a heartbeat. All of our guests could mingle in the conservatory area which was nicely set up, and they were all so impressed, as were we, with how everything was run on the day, how quick and professional the service was, and how fantastic the food was. A big shout out as well to Leanne on the day for looking after us so well and for making sure that we had everything we needed and that we were happy with how everything was going. The attention to detail all round was second to none.

Hotel Kilmore went above and beyond to make our day special and unique to us. All staff were a pleasure to deal with and provided excellent tips and pointers to help us with planning and organising. The day itself was seamless and our guests commented on the quality of the wedding meal, entertainment and how welcoming and beautifully decorated the hotel was. Christmas is a busy time of year for everyone and Hotel Kilmore continued to provide a first class service that we cannot fault. We would highly recommend Hotel Kilmore as a wedding venue and particularly the wedding team and management as their attention to detail is second to none. We can't wait to return as a married couple and enjoy the food and ambiance within the hotel at some stage this year.

From our first meeting with Paul to organize a date to Our wedding coordinators Mary & Orla. Nothing was ever an issue as our wedding was during Covid & all the unknown & uncertainty of restrictions re Weddings going ahead to smaller wedding numbers early bar/venue closures etc. Myself & Damien where getting married regardless of all of the above. Every Member of The hotel staff was always pleasant & reassuring From the day we started organizing until the day after after our wedding. We Highly recommend the hotel Kilmore for a wedding venue. The Room was done to perfection exactly the way we wanted it & the food was fantastic plenty of options to choose from to suit every dietary need & we had a few different allergies etc. The Bridal Suite was 10/10. And the room for our 3 kids was perfect & was close to us. Would love to do it all over again ??

We had our wedding reception at hotel Kilmore in December 2021 after postponing a year. When we first viewed the hotel we got a real homely feeling and knew it was the venue for us. Hotel Kilmore where extremely supportive throughout our experience and couldn’t have done enough for us..nothing was too big of an ask. The wedding coordinators Orla and Mary kept us right on the run up to the wedding and attention to detail was excellent.. Our wedding meal was absolutely amazing, our guests couldn’t speak highly enough of the food and service in the hotel.. myself and my new husband had the most amazing day which felt very personal to us, we would like to thank everyone at Hotel Kilmore for being part of our special day.

Our wedding was in Nov 21, and we were one of the first weddings with full numbers allowed- but the lead up to that was stressful with different lists each month, panicking about numbers and waiting patiently to hear… the staff in the kilmore were so helpful, offering reassurance and general support throughout the whole time.

We had our wedding on the 14th October 2021 and it was the most amazing day ever, the hotel kilmore were absolutely amazing all day and the staff were amazing too. They were so easy to work with and even when we had to postpone at the start of the year they were so understanding and made everything perfect. I can not recommend them enough.

Our wedding was during covid so we had restrictions to adhere to which ultimately altered our pre covid planned reception. Nonetheless we had a lovely, enjoyable day with the restrictions we had to adhere to. The staff were brilliant on the day and our wedding meal was delicious and well presented. The hotel as always is very well presented inside and out for beautiful photographs.
We did have to pay extra from our agreed pre covid price which was forwarded via email with a new contract posted out. A socially distance meeting or video call would have been more appropriate to discuss this matter at the time.
All in all the Kilmore is a beautiful atmospheric hotel for your special day.

All the staff where incredible to deal with. We had our Cermony in a private room within the hotel and reception to follow. It was during covid, so they always kept communication open as we where always unsure of the numbers that could attend, music..guidelines. They really put us at ease and were always very professional. Food was excellent, staff friendly and accommodating. The function rooms where beautifuly decorated, luxurious style but yet homely and welcoming. The gardens are stunning, I got fabulous photos Highly recommended and if i was to do it again they would be no competition.

Hotel Kilmore was nothing but brilliant from the start. Nothing was an issue even when we had to postpone they were very accommodating. Very quick responses to all out queries and on the day of the wedding everything went off without a hitch. We dealt with a number of the team but they all knew who we were and our plans which was great. Could not recommend them highly enough

From our first appointment on viewing the hotel until our wedding day, the staff were brilliant & very helpful in all aspects of helping us organise our special day! Unfortunately, we had to postpone our original date but this was not a problem with the staff who were so helpful in helping us rearrange our day. Our suppliers were also so very helpful to us to rearrange our date. The wedding day itself was amazing, the food was exceptional, our guests still comment on it.

Our wedding was the day lockdown started happening, through all the craziness and unknown the staff at the Kilmore could not have been more helpful, accommodating and calming ! Before the madness of covid began , organising our wedding was a dream, our wedding coordinator was excellent, any meetings we went to we were made feel so special and welcome (and always a complimentary drink ) they really made us feel like our wedding was special to them not just us. We went for a wedding package which could not be beaten , it included our cake , band and photographer and much more.
When lockdown was being announced, the staff helped me so much , made me feel calm, kept me sane really !!!! We had the most magical day in the end and it was solely down to our guests and the fantastic staff in the Kilmore. We will never forget them.

The Kilmore was the most amazing place to host our wedding. We planned it all from America, and brought 83 Americans over to the Kilmore for our wedding!
Everyone had a blast. The food was great and the staff was beyond accommodating. I truly did not stress once on my wedding day, even in the midst of a snow fall. The Kilmore truly helped to make our out of town guests to feel welcome!

Paul, Natasha, Kim, Megan (the on duty manager) and all the other staff could not do enough for us both on the day and on the lead up to the day. They really know their stuff in the hotel and we have received so many compliments on our day and the quality of the food, staff to guest number ration (1:10) and the flexibility and kindness of all staff. We were thrilled with our day and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone I speak to. They made our wedding day very special and enjoyable.

The staff went over and beyond for us on our special day. They couldn't do enough for us. Anything we wanted altered or changed was no problem and the waiting staff were so pleasant and happy with us all day. My day was so relaxing and nothing was a bother to them. Hi, we had our wedding reception in kilmore Hotel. I was very nervous because I've a diary restriction but I'm also really picky with food. On our consultation with our wedding planner we spoke to the chef whole was more than accommodating. He said he really enjoyed a challenge. Our food was amazing and what made it even more special was I could eat everything. Usually when we go anywhere I have to skip starters, desert and a few bits for the main but that day I had everything for starters to a special desert, mains were amazing and lots of extras, in the evening sandwiches and little pieces were made special for me. Throughout the day the staff were amazing when I wanted tea, again special requirements, I didn't even have to ask for it the staff just brought it to me. We had a surprise fireworks displace, which was not in our plan at all but the wedding coordinator accommodated for that within minutes. We had a few guests show up that did not intend on been there and so the table plan was not set for them and so the staff prepared additional seating for them and food. The decorations were provided by a family member but to ensure we enjoyed our day and missed nothing the staff took care of all of the decorations helping set up and taking down. There's literally nothing they could have done better for us that day, they waited hand and foot. Thank you!

I couldn’t recommend Hotel Kilmore more, we had the best wedding day and all our guests couldn’t compliment the food and hotel enough a lot of people said it was the best wedding food they have ever tasted. Staff were so accommodating since the day we booked and was always happy to help. When we dropped down all the stuff a few days before they took the time to go through it and listened to exactly what we wanted and it all turned out amazing. I would love to do it all over again

Overall the Hotel Kilmore is a 5 star venue to have your dream wedding. The water fountain and garden is beautiful for photos, the food is top class and as for the organisation, well they just go above and beyond to make your day as special and unique as you would want it. My sister had her reception here in 2008, mine was in 2019 and my other sister is having her reception here in August 2024. Would recommend to anybody. Thanks again guys

Don't even know where to start to explain how simply wonder our wedding was thanks to Hotel Kilmore. We had everything at the hotel our wedding ceremony, reception pictures everything and I just can't fault them. The service, the value, the setting everything was just perfect. In an environment where choice and variety is huge, it was slightly daunting when we decided to try and pick our wedding venue. We need not have been afraid. From our very first meeting with Hotel Kilmore's wedding planner we felt valued and important. Their attention to detail and exquisite menu ticked boxes we didn't even know we had!! Every wedding day is special but we can honestly say we couldn't have imagined or hoped beforehand how amazing this hotel, staff, catering, decor, accommodation, reception and location is. On our last night of our wedding weekend, we were finishing up drinks in the bar. Such a beautiful venue with so many places for photos . The bridal suite is just stunning and more like a luxury apartment. The staff are so helpful and took a lot of pressure off us and helped us in any way the could. Would highly recommend the Hotel Kilmore for any wedding they went above and beyond to make our day so special the staff were absolutely amazing the wedding package's are amazing the food is out of this world.

We got married here 17.04.17, everything was absolutely wonderful. Nothing was an issue for the hotel staff, the food was absolutely outstanding and everyone complemented how nice it was.
Our wedding cake broke in transit and the hotel managed to have a standby cake in place without us even known as to not annoy us on the day. 5stars from us

Our wedding day at the Hotel Kilmore was everything we could ask for, nothing was a problem, they accommodated our chocolate fountain and full table display, allowed for photographs to be taken throughout the hotel as the weather was not in our favor on the day xxx

Excellent Service Paul and Ross could not have done more for us throughout the planning and on the day. I have 3 brothers and 1 sister and all 5 of us got married in the Hotel Kilmore(and 99% of my cousins also got married in the Hotel Kilmore) so in saying that it speaks for itself would 100% recommend to anyone

Hotel Kilmore go above and beyond to insure that everything is perfect for the big day, from the staff to the amazing food and lay out of the banquet hall. From adults to children, fantastic service is given to all.

Couldn’t fault our Wedding day at Kilmore. Experience was 1st class from start to finish. Staff, food and facilities all excellent . My brother is getting married at hotel next year as a result and looking forward to another great day!

Had the most magical day. Every detail was taken care of and the food was amazing. Everything ran perfectly and Our guests commented how much fun they had. Staff were super helpful and professional!

We went with an all-inclusive package and had the band, DJ and photographer all sorted when we signed our contract with the hotel. It was so nice to have that much organised straight away and having Mary at the end of the phone or email made wedding planning so easy for us. No question we had was too silly for her and she offered us endless advice when we asked for it
We're from Kildare, and had guests travelling from mostly Kildare & Offaly but had people from all over the place come and it was an accessible location for everyone being right on the N3. So easy to find, and yet once you've pulled into the hotel you'd never know there was a main road right there. The grounds are lovely and we didn't feel the need to leave to get pictures elsewhere but being in Cavan there are gorgeous areas around if you wanted to take a spin to get some pictures by a lake or something.
We both stayed in the hotel the night before our wedding. The team had organised one of the conference rooms for the bridal party to get ready in the morning of the wedding. They had it set up so nice for us, with mirrors for hair & make-up and even had hangers and a backdrop for us to hang our dresses. They also had a table set for us for breakfast in that room too. We felt so special.
We got married in the hotel and our ceremony room was set up beautifully. Cherry blossom trees, lanterns and red carpet were all included! The drinks reception was enjoyed by everyone. We had a prosecco tap, bottles of beer and hot whiskeys as well as lovely canapes and scones. We had a couple of coeliacs in attendance and the hotel were so good about making sure they were catered for and had things clearly marked gluten free for them.
The wedding meal was divine, of course everybody loved the food at 10:30pm, and we were all shocked by even more food arriving to entice us out of the reception room and into the residents bar in the early hours of the morning!
We had a day 2 party in the hotel too, where we had our own room with a bar and enough space for the 60+ of us and our musician for the evening. We went with the buffet to feed our guests on day 2 and we chose to serve the chicken curry and lasagna, along with chips and salads. Once again everyone was raving about the food and the service. We've had some of our guests say they'd travel back to Cavan just to have the soup from the wedding dinner or the lasagna from day 2 again!
We could go on forever but long story short, we would recommend Hotel Kilmore to anyone. If you want great value, great service and great food then look no further. We had the time of our lives and can't wait for our next visit to the Kilmore.
