You were amazing to deal with from the first day we met, and so understanding and obliging - no issue was a problem! The hotel itself is an amazing wedding venue. All of the guests kept speaking of the high quality of food and fast service, and the amazing decoration in the ballroom. Ye have outdone yourselves. Would highly recommend to any future couples who are getting married.

We had our Wedding here on the 16th Of August 2024 and it was just the best day ever.
Orla, Yasmin and Robbie, I don't have enough good things to say about you guys, Sligo Park is so lucky to have you guys.

The service was great, the food was phenomenal, we stayed for 2 nights, as did some of our guest and even though there was a wedding the day after they still took care of us.
We got so many compliments on the food, most of my family is from London and they all remarked that it was the kind of food you'd get in a fine dining restaurant and I'd have to agree.

Orla, the wedding coordinator, was so helpful even with things that probably weren't her job, would highly recommended getting married here just to deal with her alone, nothing was ever a problem and always got back to us so quickly with any enquiry we had.
We were pretty laid back anyway but the staff definitely made us feel at ease on the day, we've had a number of our guests (not from Sligo) that want to get married there now.
Everyone raved about the cocktails and food on arrival also, it was something not many people had seen before and was well received.

Altogether exceptional day, wish we could do it all again!

"We had our wedding in the Sligo Park Hotel in June 2024. We were absolutely delighted with how our Wedding reception went from start to finish. We couldn't recommend this hotel high enough to future bride and grooms.
With the Sligo Park you are not just a number, you are treated exceptionally. This was evident to us from the first day we popped in of the street to view the ballroom as we were in the area. All of the staff were so accommodating and friendly. We knew this was the hotel for our wedding reception.
We then met the Wedding Co-Ordinator Orla. Orla discussed the wedding packages with us and we were able to adjust to our requirements.
She was fantastic throughout the journey to our wedding day and made the planning process so seemless and stress free. Orla is extremely organised and and an excellent Wedding Co-Ordinator.
We thoroughly enjoyed our Wedding tasting prior to our day. A wonderful experience we will never forget. The food was beautiful. You also have a 1:1 with the chef to discuss the dishes served and how your wedding reception will run.

Our experience with the Sligo Park Hotel was exceptional. We could not recommend the Hotel any higher to prospective Brides & Grooms. It is hard to describe how personalised and professional the team were from start to finish and even after the wedding.
They provide a service that is warm, friendly and of the highest standard within the service industry.
The atmosphere and energy you feel from every member of staff was as mentioned above exceptional. Reception staff, bar staff, breakfast staff, room staff, it was always the same. They care about your day and the experience you have as their guest. In this regard alone the hotel is excellent value for money.
Orla, our wedding co- ordinator was a huge support in planning the wedding, keeping your timelines on track and helping us make decisions well in advance.
She alleviated stress and her correspondence was always prompt. In the lead up to the wedding, she arranged meetings which suited our busy schedules and facilitated food tasting & cocktail tastings at ease. At every opportunity the hotel helped us manage bookings of relatives, securing excellent rates, particularly with rooms of overseas guests and guests with children.
The accommodation is wonderful, the layout of the hotel makes for an excellent wedding experience as rooms are set apart from noise, overlooking gardens. There is a restful atmosphere in the lobby and this made for a holiday like feel for everyone involved. The leisure centre and kids fairy trail were wonderful.
The banquet hall itself is well designed with the bar overlooking the dance floor, this keeps your guests together throughout the night. We loved our food choices and the hotel ensured that every guests meal was of the highest quality. The cocktails on arrival and wine choices were brilliant.
Orla brings all the good energy and we were so lucky to have had her involved in our wedding.
We would do it all again in the morning with the Sligo Park and their team.

Our wedding reception at the Sligo Park could not have been better. Orla was a pleasure to work with and could not have been more helpful. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly. Our guests were made to feel at home. The banquet room looked amazing. We could not recommend the Sligo Park enough as a venue.

We had our wedding at The Sligo Park Hotel in May. The venue was fantastic, the staff were so helpful our wedding planner Orla made everything super easy for us on the lead up to the big day. The day went seamless. The staff couldn’t have done enough for us. The food was delicious and could for everyone’s needs. Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough, for a wedding or even just a night away!

We first met Orla in August 2022 and knew that day that Sligo Park was the venue for us to celebrate our wedding. From the moment we met Orla, She has been helpful, knowledgeable, professional and genuinely cares for her couples!

The wedding was brilliant, we both had a fantastic day and most of that was down to the staff who couldn't do enough for us and our guests. We were blessed with a stunning day and all the guests were raving about the sunny pergola and the delicious cocktails they received on arrival. The food was amazing, thank Chris the chef but the steaks were better than some I've had recently in high end steak restaurants and all the guests loved the food too. The wait staff were very attentive, constantly running around with wine and checking on people. Yasmine (I think that was her name) who served the top table was fab, even little things like bringing us the bridal suite room key so I didn't have to go to reception. Also thank you so much for the little bag of gifts in our room it was a lovely touch and really appreciated! Bar staff were on the ball too as it was a wedding of big drinkers!

However Orla you were the key reason we booked our wedding there and you couldn't have been more helpful. From the first day we met you, your bubbly personality and professionalism was infectious. You think of everything and knew how to keep the right amount of contact with us in the lead up and help us organise everything and keep the day running smoothly also. Your genuine excitement and joy for us was so lovely, and made us so happy to be getting married there.

ITS ALL ABOUT YOU!! We celebrated our wedding here on the 28th of December from start to finish our experience with the venue was stress-free. Orla and her team catered for our every need. All our outside agencies, Music, Celebrant, Photographer, patisserie Baker all commented on how they enjoyed working with the team at The Sligo Park Hotel. Myself and my wife, Nedine got married in the Sligo Park Hotel in December 2023. Words cannot describe how happy we were with the whole process. We picked the Sligo Park initially because we knew they had beautiful Christmas decorations. What we didn't know was that the whole team in there is fantastic. Orla was an absolute pleasure to work with. She did everything she could for us and I could not fault her. The food was unbelievable some of the best wedding meals I've ever seen. On par with any castle wedding venue, I have been to!! The memories of our day has been made so much better by everyone who went above and beyond for us and our guests. Lastly, the value for money cannot be matched. We reviewed every wedding venue in the Northwest and the quality we received for the amount we paid could not be replicated! Lovely venue for family wedding, friendly staff, lovely food and beautiful decor

We had our wedding reception in the Sligo Park in December 2023 and would highly recommend! The wedding coordinator Orla guided us through every step and was amazing through all of the planning and on the day. Orla put us at ease from the day we first met her and we knew we were in good hands. She was brilliant at staying in touch and replied almost immediately to any queries we had. From the early stages of planning to the last minute glitches, Orla was there for us with advice and reassurance. We had an incredible day and the staff at the Sligo Park went out of their way to make our day special. The food was absolutely incredible and the chef Chris was extremely understanding and accommodating to any allergy needs that we and our guests had! I am a coeliac, as were a number of our guests, and I wanted to be able to eat great food like everyone else on our wedding day and that’s exactly what happened! I was blown away! Most of the menu is naturally gluten free and what wasn’t gluten free, was adapted or there was an incredible alternative, no melon or fruit salad here! The service was top class, we couldn’t have asked for more! A massive thank you to all the team at the Sligo Park!

We always knew we wanted our wedding to be different very much reflective of our alternative style. From the moment we started looking at the Sligo Park Hotel for our wedding day reception, Orla and all the staff were just amazing at helping us achieve this alternative vision we had for our day. No request was too big and no question left unanswered. We knew we wanted to make the day and the venue our own, and Orla helped make this a reality. From putting us in touch with the florist to look at alternative center pieces, to advising us on menus and room decorations, to helping with some alternative music choices. If it could be made red and black then it was. These extra splashes of colour made a huge difference to the look and feel of the room on the day. There was constant communication from the hotel from when we booked right up to speaking everyday the week of the wedding. The day itself was amazing, from the moment of our arrival at the hotel on the day our every need was catered for. Orla and the team managed to bring our vision to life in the look and feel of both our drinks reception and the ballroom decoration. The food on the day was second to none, which is testament to Chris and the team in the kitchen. We couldn't have asked for a better day and this is one that we will remember for a long time to come.

Best Wedding Venue with Top Class Service

From our first meeting with Bernadette and our wedding coordinator Orla, we knew it was what we wanted. The attention to we were given was top class. The way we were guided through the whole process was everything you could wish for.

The food was amazing and couldn't be faulted. There was definitely no shortage of food on the tables. The chef & Orla were so accommodating and gave us plenty of ideas and a good list of choices to pick from.

The entire team of staff from the very first day we went to view the hotel were absolutely incredible and so nice. They ensured everybody at the wedding was looked after and their attention to detail was incredible.

From all the venues we looked at and considered, the Sligo Park Hotel stood out on its own and we are delighted we chose to celebrate our wedding there. The entire day was flawless and we can both say it was the best day we have ever had. We celebrated our wedding at the Sligo Park Hotel on Saturday 23rd September 2023. We had the pleasure of dealing with Orla Seery, wedding coordinator who is such a lovely person and really was fantastic in helping us organise our big day.

The day itself couldn't have gone any better, every aspect of our day was perfect. The food was first class, all the staff were very welcoming and the ballroom is the perfect place to hold a wedding reception. The addition of the pergola to the hotel enhances the venue further, holding our drinks reception there - all our guests loved it! The day flowed perfectly and this was down to Orla and all the team at Sligo Park Hotel.

Best Wedding Venue!
I recently got married and had the reception at the Sligo Park Hotel and I cannot explain how wonderful it all was. I cannot recommend this venue enough. The staff were all super friendly and welcoming not just on the day of the wedding but to all our friend sand family staying at the hotel. We have had so many people comment to us they cannot get over how helpful and nice all the staff were.

The food was amazing, the drinks reception was amazing.
Orla the wedding planner is just out of this world, so lovely, so so helpful an made the whole process a dream - Cannot think of enough nice things to say about her.

Nothing was too much to ask. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone thinking about getting married.
Also our wedding guests that were staying in the hotel also loved that thy had access to the leisure facilities.

We recently had our wedding reception in the Sligo Park and from our first viewing they were amazing to deal with. Every person we told we had booked the Sligo Park for our wedding said you?re guaranteed a great day in the Sligo Park.

Orla, the wedding co-ordinator is brilliant at her job and really goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. She is a real people's person and any 5 minute chat always ended up being a lot longer, as it was like catching up with a friend!

The function room is so bright and modern and is decorated so beautifully for weddings. The new pergola is fab and really created a great atmosphere for our drinks reception. It was such a lovely experience arriving to all our guests outside enjoying themselves. The cocktails at the drinks reception were delicious and our guests are still talking about how nice they were along with the great choice of canapes.

We couldn't fault the fabulous food, especially the beef! Chris and the kitchen team couldn't do enough for us during our meal tasting and on the wedding day. The food was piping hot too which I know isn't always the case at weddings.

All the staff on the day were brilliant. We were made to feel so welcome in the hotel all weekend by Orla, Gerry and the entire team. We just wish we could do it all over again!

My parents had their wedding in the Sligo Park Hotel 33 years ago and the service has always been consistent.

We couldn't recommend the Sligo Park Hotel enough to any future couples, you won't regret it!

I had originally wanted a festival type wedding with lots of moving parts and more than likely panic central before the wedding. What I didn't realise is I could bring the festival to the Sligo Park!

We had the reception patio to kick things off in style with the cocktails flowing & the music going, the service is still mentioned to this day with a pal of mums jiving in Ballina, when she said I'm from Sligo the first thing he said wasn't he was at a Claire & Gerards wedding, it was ?Jesus the Sligo Park has the best food & service?

From the moment we met you Orla, you've been great to deal with & know how to work well with a couple

Just wanted to say how incredible everything was from start to finish. We had the opportunity to meet so many staff members along the way . On the first visit we met Ber who gave us a tour of the hotel . All our questions were answered and nothing was too much. We looked at 5 hotels in Sligo for possible venue but Sligo Park blew them out of the water.

And then the amazing luxury of working with Orla. I would say I was a nervous bride but the attention to detail, how she recorded every single detail and the organisation put me at ease. She always made time for us, very easy to contact . No question was too big or too small. She was with us every step of the way. She was a big comfort to us on the day. Honestly we could not have asked for a better wedding coordinator.

As myself and husband don't drink the hotel ordered in non alcoholic drinks (wine, champagne, Kopparberg etc.) This was an idea the hotel suggested to us which was such a lovely touch. They went to great effort to get the best brand I know as I'm picky with my non-alcoholic wine.

We had a menu tasting in the company of chef Piotr. This was really a treat we had so much fun. The chefs were brilliant, really helping us to make the menu our own . We had many gluten free guests attending and the options they provided were top class. Our guests said they never seen so many options for them at a wedding like they got in Sligo Park. The feedback we got on the food from all our guests was amazing. The quality and quantity was spot on. Truly the best wedding food in Sligo. Special thanks to Chris, Piotr, Tom and the rest of the kitchen team for all their hard work

I want thank the general manager Gerry Moore as I worked in hotels previously. I was pleasantly surprised to see the general manager taking time out of their busy day to help with the wedding. It is really fantastic to see a manager lead by example. Also wanted to thank the managers Graham , Robbie and Ronan for all the help throughout the day, night and the next day. Again nothing was too much trouble for them.

The ballroom and bar itself is so beautiful the way the light shines in, and the decorations are simply stunning. It just looks so shiny and new. The outside covered area was also a huge hit with our guests.

The wedding suite is just pure luxury, my only complaint was I wish I spent more time in it. It's just excuse for me to go back and book in again.

Thanks again to all the staff for making our fairy tale a reality.

We struggled to find a hotel in Sligo that provided an outstanding menu but at a reasonable price. Then we thought of Sligo Park Hotel which is still one of the few family run hotels in Ireland. Sligo Park Hotel were able to provide an amazing menu selection, professional staff, accommodation for all our guests and a very relaxed environment all at a reasonable price. The wedding coordinator Orla Seery really couldn't have done more for us and the rest of the staff were outstanding too. We had family and friends travelling from all over and Sligo Park were able to provide a wedding rate from the whole weekend and provided accommodation for nearly all our 150 guests plus a wedding on the 5th May!
Sligo Park also provided lots of personal touches to our wedding reception which we loved. I've even recommended this venue to my brother as he got engaged recently!

The Best Wedding Venue
We were lucky enough to have our wedding here on Friday 28th of April 23.
We were planning on viewing loads of different venues before booking. However, Sligo Park was our first visit and after meeting with Orla and seeing the hotel, we never even looked at anywhere else!
Orla, from the get go, it was just like having a friend helping to plan our big day. You are absolutely amazing at your job and you have so much warmth, great ideas and you were so diligent in every part of our planning.
You were with us every step of the way and kept us on track (which we needed at times as we were super chilled!).
The food and staff were amazing on the day. So many people commented on this and are still talking about it. The new Pergola is such an asset to the hotel, such a lovely set up for a reception.
We loved how you kept a check on us and made sure we were happy throughout the day. Yourself and Gerry were always on hand. Also a big thank you to Robbie too who stuck with us for the evening and night, nothing was a problem (even a pizza at 3am!) and you all do it with smiles on your faces and nothing seems to be a bother.
We would highly, highly, highly recommend the Sligo Park Hotel for a wedding venue.
Only one slight disappointment - is that it's all over now.
Anyone thinking of getting married, please make sure that you visit this hotel first.

Perfect wedding venue
From the minute we arrived in Sligo Park we both knew that we had found our wedding reception location. It helped that a wedding was taking place that day and we were able to see the room all set up. The atmosphere in the hotel was fantastic and the staff were so happy to accommodate us. We took away the wedding brochure and on our next visit when we had an appointment with Orla the wedding coordinator we didn't hesitate in booking our wedding with Sligo Park. Fast forward a year and it's all over. Our day on 14 April 2023 was perfect from start to finish. We really want to take this opportunity to highlight the incredible group of people who delivered the most flawless wedding reception for us. Throughout the planning Orla was a dream to work with. All the details were addressed with professionalism, nothing was too much trouble and we just knew from the start we were in safe hands. We stayed a couple of times prior to our day, once for our anniversary and also after our menu tasting. Even our stay was made to feel special, a hand written note with wine/chocolates in our room and a room upgrade was thoughtful as was the bouquet we received after confirming our wedding at the Sligo Park. The final correspondence with Orla prior to the day was again very thorough. Over the past few weeks since our wedding we've been speaking to so many of our guests who all have nothing but praise for our wedding venue. The afternoon reception in the new Pergola was stunning. Such a beautiful space that will be such an asset to the hotel for any functions but especially for weddings. The sun shone and our guests looked so relaxed when we arrived. We are told they each had plenty of the refreshments offered (we know from our own experience this isnt always the case) and the canapés were fab. On arrival Orla whisked us off to inspect the function room. I was completely overcome with emotion, such a beautiful room. This was everything I dreamed of for my day, just a stunning room. It's also very spacious which we loved and everything is so accessible to the function room and on a scale where our guests didn't feel sardined. The day ran seamlessly. Call for dinner after a group photo and then followed the most exquisitely executed dinner service. The food was amazing. Glasses were always topped up and there was an abundance of sides - aspects of the day guests made a point of saying to us. We had chosen fish as one of the options, no regrets, just beautiful. There is no doubt that the staff are what makes this hotel great, each and everyone was friendly, efficient, hardworking and really strived to make our day amazing. This is only possible when staff are happy in their place of work and this is so evident. Thank you Gerard, Orla and the entire staff, too many names to mention, you deserve a medal but will have to make do with massive thanks from Mr and Mrs Phair for giving us the best day of our lives.

From the moment we met with you in early September last year, we have had an absolutely amazing time planning our wedding with you Orla. Nothing we asked for was too much and was always met with a warm, friendly and speedy response. It made all the planning and organizing so much easier. Your dedication and genuine personality made us feel like we were the only wedding you were working with, like our wedding was as important to you as it was to us. We knew we could trust you to make sure our day went as smoothly and as to plan as we wanted and you definitely did not let us down. In conversation with other couples who've been married in the last couple of years we also realized how blessed we were to have a wedding coordinator like you, it's the little touches like getting flowers to the house after we paid our deposit, the flowers on the bridal suite, coming to check on us at our tasting even though you were on your way home and again checking on me the night before the wedding in the bar even though you had finished your shift, makes you stand out from all the others. You are such a lovely person and an absolute credit to the Sligo Park, any couple who have the privilege of dealing with you in the future are very lucky.

All the staff at the Sligo Park, are without doubt the friendliest and most accommodating. From the reception staff, to the bar and restaurant, to the serving staff each and every person are so helpful. To mention a few, Andrea in the restaurant was so attentive and informative at our tasting, she was a pleasure to chat to. Michael and Yasmin in the bar so welcoming and lovely, could sit chatting with them for hours. Robbie during the evening reception nothing we asked was a hassle always eager and happy to help. I am sure I am forgetting people so please forgive me. I genuinely cannot fault any part of the day, the room was superb, the meal was fab, the service unreal. So many of our guests have come back to us saying they had the best day. We would love to do it all again. I would hands down, without fail recommend a wedding the the Sligo Park.

Myself and my husband got married in the sligo park hotel in August 2022. From the very first visit all the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming to us. In the lead up to the wedding the team couldn't have done anything more for us, nothing was an issue. On the day itself everything ran so smoothly we had nothing to worry about, the food was gorgeous, we're still getting comments from our guests about it! We highly recommend the sligo park hotel it's a hidden gem.

We celebrated our wedding in the Sligo Park Hotel at the beginning of July. We couldn't recommend this venue enough as the perfect place to celebrate any important life event! Gerry, Orla and all of the team put us at ease right from the very beginning and we knew after our very first meeting that we were in safe hands. Nothing was a problem for their wedding co-ordinator Orla. She was in constant contact throughout the build up to our wedding making sure we were relaxed and excited about our big day while reassuring us that all was ready to go on their end.

The Sligo Park Hotel is well known for it's friendly staff and amazing food so we never had any doubt that we would have a brilliant day here but even we were blown away by the stunning ball room, delicious food and bubbly staff. It far exceeded our expectations. Our guests raved about the Sligo Park Hotel and the service provided on the day. From the friendly welcome at the main desk and the drinks reception, to the amazing meal, the bar staff and accommodation - it was flawless! We have friends who attended our wedding that have since booked their own weddings here as it really is the ideal wedding location.

We booked The Sligo Park Hotel for our wedding reception back in 2020, we were the few lucky ones that didn't need to change dates due to COVID thankfully! The process from booking our wedding to all the planning and preparations was fantastic - Orla the wedding coordinator is the most genuine and helpful person. She made us both at ease anytime we met up. Orla helped me out so much through endless emails and calls for planning our perfect day, nothing was ever a problem. Orla is amazing at what she does and is very professional. On the day of our wedding the staff of the hotel couldn't do enough for us they were all so friendly and helpful throughout the whole day and night. The food was absolutely fantastic. The guests were complimenting the staff throughout. The ballroom where our reception was looked fabulous, the staff done an amazing job. It really was an amazing day and we cannot thank you all enough for everything. Any couples thinking of here book it ASAP it is 100% the best place in town for weddings ;) and Orla is outstanding and will help you throughout it all.

Had our wedding here on the 17th of june, and could not recommend it enough, such a fantastic hotel! Having to change our date three times nothing was ever a problem and we were put at ease straight away. Cant say enough good things about orla, she is so professional at what she does.. nothing was ever a problem, she was always at the end of the phone if we needed her, which took the stress out of the day.

From the moment we stepped inside the doors for our first viewing the Sligo Park Team made us feel like ours was going to be the most important wedding they hosted, Orla went above and beyond her role to ensure our day was as special as we could only have hoped for. There isn't a single thing about the day that we would change. The staff at the hotel were attentive, and more than once asked us about something before we had even thought about it.
Many guests commented about the quality of the food, especially the carrot & coriander soup which went down a storm.
Thank you for suggesting that we use the lobby for the reception after the ceremony. Also, thank you for getting us the smaller centerpieces, they were perfect.

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves at our wedding celebrations and each person could not speak highly enough about the hotel. Everyone really enjoyed their meal, it was a credit to the chefs. The prompt delivery of the meal to each and every table was excellent also, everyone in the room were eating together. Robbie was brilliant at making sure everything went smoothly and resolving quickly any requests we had. Also, the removal of the tables from the dance floor after the meal was very swift and undisruptive. We appreciated that nobody was asked to leave the function room while the tables were rearranged and the band setup, which kept everyone together and there was no break in enjoyment of the day.
Both of us had a very enjoyable day and we both only have nice things to say about the hotel and it's staff. We've made lifetime memories. We will both be happy to recommend the Sligo Park Hotel to any other couples planning their wedding.
Special mention to you Orla also, no matter what request or question we had you were able to help us out. Everything was handled professionally and we didn't need to stress over anything.

My husband and I had both our wedding ceremony and our wedding reception at the Sligo Park Hotel in April 2022. The amount of daylight reaching both the hotel foyer and the function room attracted us to this hotel as our wedding venue, along with the good reputation for food and drinks that the hotel has locally. Orla, the wedding coordinator is very good at her job and from our first meeting with Orla and the wedding chef, we were confident the hotel was up to the job of hosting our wedding and we were right!!! Our guests have complimented the cocktails at our drinks reception, the menu and food, the hotel decor, the fact that there was no shortage of food and drinks all day (and night!), staff service etc. Thank you to Orla and all the team at the Sligo Park Hotel for setting up the day we wished for!

We had our wedding in Sligo Park Hotel in March 2022 and I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Whether it's a big occasion like a wedding or just a short stay the Sligo Park is just about the very best hotel I've been to in Ireland.

They really go to the Nth degree in helping with all the bits and pieces leading up to the wedding and the staff's experience is second to none. I'd like to especially thank Orla for all her help and guidance in the lead up to the wedding, she made everything so easy and put us at our ease straight away.

The staff are all amazing, anything you ask is not a problem. They are professional, kind, helpful and you're always met with a smile. Best staff I've seen in a hotel bar none.

Our wedding guests were treated like kings and queens from start to finish. The reception was amazing, The Prosecco and canapés on arrival were brilliant. The function room was stunning and the food was exceptional. The chef Chris has an unbelievable team and the service from the staff was amazing.

The rooms are spotlessly clean, they are cosy and the beds are so spacious and comfortable. The Leisure center is brilliant too.

If you are thinking of booking the Sligo Park hotel for your wedding I cannot recommend it highly enough.

From the minute we meet Margaret to book our day we were looked after, every detail was perfect and the hotel staff were amazing , we dealt with Margaret, who answered any mad email i sent her, up till a week before when we were put in the very capable hands of Chloe, she was amazing , even on the morning of the wedding ( yes i went to the hotel) she was so organised and great with everything. The Food was perfect, it had everything we discussed with Andrew at our tasting, everyone was talking about the food on the day. There attention to detail and level of service was on point, Josie and the ladies were quick, helpful and so friendly to us, I really couldn't recommend the park enough. The girls at reception were also very helpful the following morning and in the coming days when we collected some of the stuff we had used. the staff the night before went to trouble of hanging 120 babys breath bunches on the back to the chairs so we didn't have to , They also went through setting up a laptop with me as i had a speical video message for my husband from a footballer, Graham ( i think that was the manager name who did this, sorry if i have it wrong name) was brill timed it perfect with my speech :) he Loved it. i cant thank you all enough in the park we had a ball

Right from the beginning, nothing was a problem, and the hospitality of the staff was flawless. We met with Margaret, who was always a pleasure and we also had Chloe who was so good to us as well. Always offered tea or coffee, when we came to the hotel free of charge. The small things are what makes a difference.
On the day itself, despite being a very busy hotel the staff were helpful and friendly and always able to answer any queries. On our wedding day all of our guests commented on the friendliness of the staff, and even in the days after the wedding the same hospitality and friendliness was always there.
All of the waiting staff, including management- Eamon and Andrew - were so professional and we could not fault the hotel. We had an exceptional day, from start to finish and nothing was a problem.

Sligo park hotel was absolutely fantastic in every way, our coordinator Margaret Finnegan done an amazing job organising everything for us, we cannot recommend them highly enough they really made our day special.

Best hotel in Sligo, can't be get on service and standard of excellent food

From the moment we talked with Margaret explaining we wanted, something simple and in our style, nothing was an issue. We also were having a small wedding (89 on the day) and wanted to ensure all had something they liked to drink and eat at the drinks reception, meal and evening food. Margaret worked through all ideas of packages for us and came back with the perfect package that worked for us. We were also getting married in the hotel but again with a small group didn't want to use the bottom of main room so again Margaret came up with the idea of using one of the smaller rooms ( it has fabulous beams and glass looking onto the garden, I entered that way and it was amazing, so special)this room was perfect and like the main room we were able to dress it for the day.
We only started planning our wedding 7 months before hand, many couples would find this stressful but we didn't. We discussed all with Margaret, in person when needed, over the phone or via email. At all times we felt completely looked after and as if we were the only couple she had to care for, obviously not The Sligo Park is very busy with weddings and other events. If there was anything we were unsure of Margaret was only happy to give her opinion and we used it often. One piece of advice was putting half an hour earlier on the invitations, as I was not going to be late( I dressed in the hotel and came down to the room at 3:05) Margaret stayed at the door ensuring there would be no interruptions as we didn't want anyone walking in in the middle of this very special ceremony.
This was for both of us our second Marriage and things had changed a lot in almost 30 years. We at all times felt in control. We were invited for our menu tasting and couldn't get over the whole experience, we were expecting something casual hence we weren't dressed for the occasion but it was an amazing special evening. We were treated like a King and Queen, the food and wine was amazing and the service outstanding. We will never forget the evening.
When it came to the days before the wedding Margaret and the hotel couldn't have been more helpful. We had discussed all our room dressings and were able to leave our decor up and ready to dress the rooms. The hotel staff were so kind and we enjoyed them coming to check in on our progress and the lovely comments. By the morning of the wedding both rooms looked amazing. Our only issue was with the lady providing the chair covers & ties, she arrived 2 1/2 hours later than the original time she told the hotel, she argued with our designer(a good friend who has dressed events all over Ireland and the US) and myself disagreeing on how we wanted to put the tie backs. She also verbally pulled apart most of our design choices saying she could bring stuff in the morning of the wedding and do better. This was completely unprofessional, this was our simple choice on table dressing and not her's, she also delayed us on the evening before our wedding when we should have been with family. (this is not a negative reflection on the hotel, she is not part of the staff)We were delighted with our decor and all the staff complemented it.

On the day again Margaret and all the staff were fantastic. From handing over our cake and taking direction on how to dress it with fruit, by the way it looked amazing, to getting myself and my daughter sorted in the room to prepare and dress, to helping me practice walking down the steps in the garden, to looking after our guests and our families, it all ran so smoothly.

The service at the drinks reception, dinner and evening was as always outstanding. My daughter is vegan due to a skin condition and a special menu was created for her, which she said was fabulous, we also had any vegetarians well looked after.

From start to finish the whole process was easy, with Margaret by our side. Margaret was even the one who walked me to the garden as I was entering on my own, she was by my side every step of the way and we both are so grateful to her and the team at Sligo Park Hotel for the dedication they show. Thank you to all, you are a credit to the hotel.

From red carpet treatment on arrival to the small single thing of Michael asking my Dad if he would like a pot of fresh tea, to the beautifully prepared foods served by pleasant staff, who could not have been nicer. You left a big impression on all guests and ourselves.

We got married in The Sligo Park Hotel in January 2009. Anita and Gerry were so hands on and helped us so much in the run up and anything we asked for was no trouble to them. When we walked into the ballroom on our special day we were blown away. It was just amazing, exactly what we wanted and even more! All our guests commented on the meal and especially how excellent the service was. The ladies who served our guests are just in a league of their own, superb!
All the Management team & staff were so helpful, polite & professional on the day and we want to take this opporttunity to say a huge Thank you for doing what you do best and making us have a fab day.

Thank you all very much for all your help with the wedding. We are back from our honeymoon a few days and we are still getting compliments about the food. The service was top notch too and we had a fantastic day and night. It was great to be able to relax and forget about everything and not have to think about it and it was seamless and ye all did a fantastic job.
We had an amazing day as did all of our guests, one which we will remember always.
