Tarlach and Sonya describe their wedding as a “low key, boutique type of wedding”. They kept their festivities very simple, with muted colours such as taupe and white.
Sonya and Tarlach’s theme of simple and classic extended into their wedding day looks. Sonya wore a classic fishtail dress with red lipstick. Tarlach wore a simple navy suit with a cream tie.
The bridesmaids wore beautiful dresses in a taupe colour, while the groomsmen wore navy suits with taupe ties to match. The flower girl wore ivory to match Sonya’s bridal look.
Sonya and Tarlach describe their wedding ceremony as “short and sweet and fun.”
The wedding festivities were hosted at Anglers Rest in Dublin. Anglers Rest was the setting for both the ceremony and reception.
In keeping with the theme of “low key and simple”, Tarlach and Sonya chose the venue because it was very chilled and relaxed, more like a pub. That was the atmosphere they wanted.

Dancing and hosting an amazing celebration was a big priority for this wedding.
“We chose the band called Blessed and they were amazing. They were so good, we danced all night.”
Sonya describes her favourite memories from the Big Day:
“Really, was having everyone there in my house that morning, including my husband and kids. Also the party afterwards! It was such a fun day, exactly what we wanted.”

“Just enjoy it, don’t sweat the small stuff. If something goes wrong, forget about it, don’t let silly mistakes ruin your day!!”
