Cary Posavitz and the Players are one of Ireland’s most talented,

evening entertainment—Cary and the Players variety of musical
styles always keep the dance floor hopping!
Cary is a fantastic showman and is very entertaining when
“working the crowd”—it’s no wonder, since he has been
performing professionally since the age of in a variety of
shows and venues all over the world. Since Cary and his
band have been resident in the historic Shelbourne Hotel,
performing every weekend at the hugely popular “Jazz Brunch”
and were featured on the hit RTE Series, “The Shelbourne”.Before Cary became front man for “The Players”, he was the
first American vocalist to be cast in Riverdance, the international
phenomenon.
After touring with Riverdance for four years, Cary remained in
the USA, where he starred in Joseph and the Amazing
Technicolour Dreamcoat, had lead roles in Cruisin’ ’ for Dick Clark Productions, The Magnificent Gospel Showcase for
Sky Television, and was featured entertainer for Regency,
Radisson, Celebrity Cruise Lines, and the Showboat Branson
Belle. ”. Most recently, Cary can be seen performing with the
sensational Celtic Woman for a PBS Television Special and
DVD release.
