John Delaney Photography

We hired John for our wedding on Sunday August 28th, 2022 in Kilkenny and had an engagement shoot with him a few months prior.

We really couldn't recommend John enough.

When we were looking for a wedding photographer, we were looking 2 or 3 things.

1. We wanted a photographer that was good. John is better than good. He's exceptional at what he does. We're delighted with the photos. He's a multi-award winning photographer with a world of experience and it shows in his photos.

2. We wanted a decent turn-around time from the day of the wedding to the day we got our photos. Prior to the wedding, Kate & I hoped to have them before Christmas (within 4 months of the wedding date). We got them within 2 weeks of the wedding. At the time of our wedding, John was in the middle of a crazy run of weddings (maybe 20 in 5 or 6 weeks) so to get the photos back so quickly was unexpected and very appreciated.

3. We wanted a photographer who put us at ease. John did that. He brought a bit of fun, and a bit of craic to our engagement shoot, and everybody was at ease on the wedding day for photos, too. John's very professional but also fun to work with.

We highly recommend him as a wedding photographer.

John is outstanding at what he does! We had the most amazing day with him and had such a laugh. He was so professional, patient and kept us relaxed the whole day. There wasn't one single moment that he didn't capture, he caught moments we can treasure forever. And what can I say about our album, I have no words! It was just perfect in every way. If you're looking for a top quality photographer, then John is your man.

We got married on the 5th march this year and choose john as our wedding photographer. We couldnt of picked a better photographer then john he made us all feel so at ease the pictures were great fun & everybody at our wedding was saying how nice & fun john was all day. We would highly recommend john he was a big part of our wedding day and made it extra special for us nothing was a problem.

John is the most down to earth man u will ever meet. He goes above and beyond. I planned pics ahead of day and john took so many extra funny ones. He is brill with kids too..theres no rushing with john

We had John for our wedding in April 2019.From the morning of the wedding at my house,all the way to the first dance he just blended in. The natural pictures he got were amazing, we honestly couldn't recomend him enough.

John was absolutely amazing on our day. So professional but great crack at the same time. His ideas are fabulous & captures all those special moments without you even knowing. Our photos are out of this world & will cherish them forever.

We met John at the wedding fair at Langton House Hotel, he was one of a few photographers at the fair. His work immediately drew us to him,it spoke for itself. We booked him there and then and maintained contact while planning the wedding, explaining the finer details we desired. John looked after us from start to finish and captured our day making sure we have memories to look back on forever. He was easygoing, relaxed and had our wedding proofs within 2 weeks. John also provided the green screen photography for us and presented us with beautiful photos of our guests the night of the wedding. Wedding photography is a major part of your wedding day to capture special times, this we received from John.

I honestly can not recommend John enough. His attention to detail is absolutely outstanding. He captured so many precious moments of our wedding day , moments we didn’t even realize had happened until we saw our photos. On the day John made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. Everyone has commented on how amazing our photos are and we couldn’t agree more.

We had John for our wedding in Aug 2018 and he was fantastic. From our first meeting with John we got on and nothing was too much trouble. We got some lovely photos on the day even tho the weather wasn't great. I would highly recommend John for your special day. You wont be disappointed.

John was more then I had even expected on the day.. He is so relaxed, goes with the flow and will meet any demand placed on him.. I was so so happy to have John photograph us on our day he was amazing and just when I thought I couldn’t of been any happier he rang to say our pictures were ready to view.. never in a million years did I think every aspect of our day could of been captured by one person for us now to have to treasure forever.. if you have any doubt on a photographer just look at johns work, it speaks for itself.. I will be forever grateful for his talent any can’t thank his enough.!

John was great. He made me feel at ease throughout the process. I'm not a confidant person when it comes to photos and hate cheesy photos so he had alot of other ideas and worked great. Great with the kids too. Very patient and took photos of whoever we wanted in them.

John is an amazing photographer,
He just goes out of his way everytime to make everything perfect for any occasion . My wife and I had john for our own wedding and we had a photo shoot in the hotel on the day of our wedding to which was fantastic what made his service even better was the photos that he had taken in the hotel he had printed and framed so we could give them as gifts to our parents at the time of the speeches this was just amazing ,
I could not fault the work that he does and he is so down to earth and always having the laugh ,
