If you’d prefer an alternative, creative, hen activity in the beautiful sea-side setting of North Co Dublin, then join us for this 2.5 hour workshop, where you will have the chance to make your own wedding jewellery.This is the perfect activity for smaller groups of between 4 and participants and will take place in our light-filled, professional jewellery studio. You will enjoy a glass of prosecco on arrival while you settle in to the studio and browse some sample pieces that you can re-create. You will then have a chance to choose your freshwater pearls or semi-precious gemstones from our collection, to use in your hand-made jewellery. During the workshop you will have fun learning how to wire-wrap gemstones and pearls and how to forge wire to make earrings in different styles, completely from scratch. There will be plenty of time to practice your wire-wrapping skills and when you’re ready, you will make your chosen pieces of jewellery in your choice of either sterling silver or kt rolled gold. Guided by our studio jewellers, who share a passion for wire-work, you will make up to two pieces of jewellery, chosen from a necklace, bracelet or earrings.While your pieces are given a polish, you can relax with tea/coffee and treats. All precious metals and gemstones are included in your experience and you will leave with a piece of jewellery to wear on your wedding day and to cherish long after. Our studio is located in the heart of the charming sea-side village of Rush and is a great location to complete your day with lunch in our local gastro pub, a walk on the beach or if you are a brave enough, a dip in the sea!
