After a three year hiatus working as a photojournalist, Wanderley is excited to be back doing what he loves most, shooting weddings!
Based in Dublin and working all over Ireland, he is a graduate of the Dublin Institute of Technology photography (DIT) in Dublin who holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Photography.
Massafelli has several publications in Irish Press, including The Irish Times, The Journal.ie, The Daily Edge, Source Magazine, Inspirational Arts Photography Award finalist 2018 and longlisted the 2018 RDS Visual Arts Awards.
Massafelli Photography has a unique approach to wedding photojournalism, who creates beautiful photographs that you will love and cherish always. Each of my images is a story captured within a frame, allowing you to relive those precious moments time and time again.
Weddings are real and full of simple moments to be captured. My goal is not only to create beautiful images but images that show the real moments during the wedding day. There is no better comment from a bride than this, "Wanderley, I can’t believe you captured it, it’s AWESOME… I didn’t see you were there at all."
During the day, I work professionally and unobtrusively. With a unique and creative approach to photography. My goal is to provide natural memories of your day. Combining both, the highest quality photojournalism and traditional photography styles with timeless and vibrant images which document your story and finds the beauty in every special memory telling your personal story through pictures of great memories.

Wanderley was an absolute delight to work with and we are so pleased with the beautiful photos! We live in Chicago and our wedding was in Dublin. Wanderley graciously accommodated our time difference when scheduling Skype calls and he was always very responsive via email. He also recommended our videographer to us. On our wedding day, Wanderley, his assistant, and Lukas the videographer all worked together seamlessly to coordinate the wedding party and capture the day. We posed for a few photos but they also caught amazing candid moments and used awesome lighting techniques to take some very artistic photos as well. 10/10 experience!

We liked Wanderley's enthusiasm and his ability to be quick and efficient and get good shots. Wanderley was very good and keeping contact and responding to any queries we might had. Very flexible in allowing us to move around our guests and friends while facilitating the photo's when our time was available. The best thing about Wanderley was, he knew the type of photo's you wanted to get. Finally, very reasonable priced for the quality obtained. highly recommend !!!!

Wanderley was our photographer for our wedding on 15th August 2018. We initially found Wanderley through Weddings Online and arranged to meet him. At this meeting he answered every question we had and we went ahead and booked. We had an engagement shoot a few months before our wedding with Wanderley as part of our package. We were nervous about this as we are not the biggest fans of being the centre of attention. However it is something that I am so glad we did and would urge every couple to do it. We brought our daughter along and it made for not only some beautiful photos of us as a couple but for some treasured family photos. On top of this the engagement shoot gave us a chance to get a feel for Wanderley and him us, which made us so relaxed about the photos on our big day.
On the day of our wedding Wanderley and his assistant , Sandra, were nothing short of exceptional. Both were easy to have around however also got all the photos we had wished for and more. They got the perfect balance of posed verses catching natural magic moments. We never once felt awkward which was our worry.
We received a few pictures the day after our wedding which was a nice touch and received our USB with all photos within a few weeks, there was no delay in waiting for these and they included a beautiful slideshow set to our first dance song. Our only issue is trying to narrow down the hundreds of photos for our album but that is not something we can complain about!!!

Wanderley was helpful, pleasant and professional to work with. He was very hard working on the day of our wedding and many of our guests had positive comments about him. The photos he took were lovely from early morning at home right up to dancing. Highly recommend.

When we first met Wanderley for a coffee to go through the details of the wedding day, what we wanted, him showing us his ideas we were immediately excited and relieved that we were in good hands. Wanderley is a gentleman and a lovely guy to be around. Casual and professional. He had us in stitches on the wedding day, very easy to work with. Couldn’t be more helpful. No drama, the time we spent getting our photos taken at Chalresfort in Kinsale was great craic. Regardless of the bad weather he was able to get gorgeous photos of us and was able to just deal with the changing weather with new ideas for photos on the spot. This made them so original and unique to us. The photos and the albums are top notch, couldn’t have asked for our special day to be captured any better. The hardest thing we had to do was cut down the number of photographs to fit in the album. All thanks to him and his assistant Julia on the day. Take the stress out of the photography, this guy knows what he’s doing. My brother and my mates have used Wanderley since our wedding.

Wanderley did our engagement session pictures we were so happy that we have decided to give feedback for it also. He was great and very creative. Wanderley was very friendly and anetusiatistic. We didn't want many posed photos and he really accommodated us. We barely noticed he was there all day. At the same time he was able to get control when necessary to get traditional pictures, which was really great because it means you can relax and the photos are natural and really capture the day but we still had the classical to shoots show to our families and hand in the wall.

Well-rounded photographer, always up to whaterever crazy ideas the couple may have. Great knowledge about photography. Sensitive eyes. We asked for casual and natural pictures and he made us feel so comfortable and relaxed all the time which brought to light our love in the pictures just the way we wanted! We made our engagement session with this wonderful sharpened eyes' photographer and we are looking foward for our wedding day!! We would like to take this opportunity to thank Wanderly for the fantastic job he did in capturing the atmosphere, personalities and excitement on our big day. He gave a very personalised touch to the photography, we met him before our wedding at our venue and this was a great opportunity to get to know her and get used to being in front of the camera. Wanderley gets involved in the atmosphere of the day and blends in with the wedding party. The quality of photos is self evident from his website but the photobook hi puts together is even better. There are lots of things to worry about leading up to and on your wedding day. Hire Wanderley and photos will not be one of these things.
We had a very specific vision of the type of images we wanted and Wanderley got this instantly, understood what we wanted and was able to deliver more than we ever expected.
From the engagement shoot right the big day, Wanderley was in control, knew the shots, how to get them and also encouraged our input the whole way along to ensure he knew exactly what we wanted. On the big day in particular Wanderley gave us a great feeling that he had everything under control so we could focus on the day itself. There were some shots with very difficult lighting and crowds, but these are where he excels, and with a few external flashes & a test shot he got exactly what we wanted without any fuss or waiting around. Wanderley was exactly the photographer you need for your special day. He has the right feeling for the best situations to take pictures with the best motives. The pictures are very special and are very different from the standard wedding ones. We really enjoyed the day and are very happy every time when we are looking at the pictures. Overall Massafalli Photography are very professional , Wanderley is so enthusiastic and passionate about his work it really shows on the day and in his photographs, It was so great having one thing that i knew i didnt have to worry about because he was in full control all the time , with all the other things brides have to worry about it was great to just relax and let Wanderley work his magic. We were very fortunate to know Wanderley before we got engaged and once we had a date set we were very keen to get him booked as our wedding photographer as we both really liked his work and it was important for us to have a photographer we could trust would capture our special day. On the day both Wanderley and his assistant were extremely professional and seamlessly blended into the background to capture all the magic moments in both the run up to the main event but also all the fun during and after. His skill and enthusiasm helped to capture some fantastic photos that will allow us to relive a wonderful day for many years to come. From the moment we first spoke to each other you had us laughing and feeling relaxed! On the day you arrived in perfect time, and got snapping pics straight away! I was so relieved that you made us all feel so relaxed and natural immediately and this really showed in our pictures! We didn’t want overly posed pictures and you understood exactly what we wanted! I even trusted you to take my dress outside to hang it from a tree on the golf course! What an amazing photo! You captured our day exactly as we wanted it and we are thrilled with our photos! The photos look fantastic….. We’re approaching our first anniversary and are lucky to have so many gorgeous photos to remember our wedding day. Wanderlay was always professional. We a few meetings prior to the ‘big day’ where we discussed our requirements, including style of photography. Wanderlay arrived early in the morning, capturing moments throughout the day and well into the evening. He worked inconspicuously, as we had discussed – we did not want an ‘in your face’ photographer. We have so many beautiful, natural un-posed photos with a perfect balance of group and individual shots of our whole wedding group. When we returned from our honeymoon , Wanderley has all of our photos ready, with no delays. We thoroughly enjoyed working with Wanderley. His relaxed style, while still highly professional suited us perfectly. We would highly recommend Wanderley for a wedding or any other event. Thank you Wanderley :)

You captured our day exactly as we wanted it and we are thrilled with our photos! You have an amazing talent!! Even our friends and family had so much fun with you! We received our photos beautifully presented in a case with a USB key in the shape of a key and this was such a nice surprise! We have been showing our photos off and everyone agrees that they are so natural and yet super romantic. This is just a little note to say a HUGE thank you to you Wanderley (like the wagon!) !

Wanderley was our wedding photographer. We simply loved the pictures, they are incredible. He is very professional,funny, creative, very open to new ideas and suggestions and able to handle the buzzy crowd for the group pictures :) He likes to be well prepared for the big day so he will ask you about the key moments (to make sure that he does not miss any), any preferences you have, main actors, number of people, etc. We are convinced that everybody get the pictures they wish for, we surely did. He captured everything even the nice moments that we didn't have a clue about them :) We strongly and warmly recommend him!!!!

The photos look fantastic….. We’re approaching our first anniversary and are lucky to have so many gorgeous photos to remember our wedding day. Wanderlay was always professional. We a few meetings prior to the ‘big day’ where we discussed our requirements, including style of photography. Wanderlay arrived early in the morning, capturing moments throughout the day and well into the evening. He worked inconspicuously, as we had discussed – we did not want an ‘in your face’ photographer. We have so many beautiful, natural un-posed photos with a perfect balance of group and individual shots of our whole wedding group. When we returned from our honeymoon , Wanderley has all of our photos ready, with no delays. We thoroughly enjoyed working with Wanderley. His relaxed style, while still highly professional suited us perfectly. We would highly recommend Wanderley for a wedding or any other event. Thank you Wanderley!
