Hi, I’m Vinny! A Dublin based photographer, artist, story teller, classic car lover, music obsessive and (occasionally) a bit of a messer!
Coming from a varied background in Design, Journalism and Photography. I use the experiences and skills developed throughout my years in these areas to deliver a modern, contemporary, fun and candid style to the weddings I shoot.
When it comes to weddings, I keep my approach as natural and unobtrusive as possible. I like to work discreetly, putting you and your guests at ease so you can focus on what’s most important - enjoying your day together.
At Photos By Vinny we offer two main packages, 'The Essentials' package covers from your morning preparations up until you sit down with your guests for dinner. While our 'Till the Break of Dawn' package we are with you up until you hit the dance floor! For more information on these packages and their pricing, don't hesitate to get in touch.

Vinny was very relaxed and delivered everything we looked for. The photos were brilliant and great to look back on. We loved all the candid shots, he captured some great moments. Would definitely recommend.

We had our wedding on the 20/08/22 and I have to say we made the right decision hiring Vinny as our photographer! He was so professional and easy to work with, he fit into our day perfectly and half the time we didn't even know he was there working away. He made the whole process stress free and fun. The photos were absolutely brilliant and captured the atmosphere and happiness of the whole day. Every time we look at them we are transported right back to our day. If you are looking for a photographer that can perfectly balance traditional and candid photos, creates a stress free experience, takes fabulous photos and is an overall lovely person then Vinny is who you are looking for!

Vinny was our wedding photographer in July 2020. I would highly recommend Vinny! From the 1st meeting we knew we were in good hands. He is professional but also makes you feel like you are speaking to an old friend. He took on board everything we were looking for. As we got married in Dublin City we needed a plan of action and Vinny happily did a walk through and sent us over an amazing plan. His ideas were incredible and the result was perfect. We had a small wedding of 25, during restrictions, things were very much up in the air as we were working in the grey so early on in the pandemic - Vinny was the glue that made the day feel just as special, as if it had been the big shindig it was ment to be. For that I am so grateful to Vinny. The images we have to keep are perfect in every way.

Choosing the right wedding photographer can be a daunting task - but starting from our initial meeting with Vinny he was always on hand to answer any questions we had and to guide us through the whole photo side of things ahead of our wedding. Vinny captured everything we had on our (extensive!) list of pictures which we wanted. But we were thrilled when we received our photos and saw the beautiful candids of our guests and loved ones which we didn't even realise were happening! We wouldn't hesitate in recommending Vinny to anyone looking for a photographer for their big day!

We couldn?t recommend Vinny more as a Wedding photographer! His photos are absolutely incredible and he was brilliant to work with. He photographed our wedding in April 2018.
We didn't need to guide him at all - he just showed up and did his thing! We barely even noticed he was there.
We didn't really want any posed photos - he did a great job of catching natural shots of us and the guests enjoying the day which is exactly what we wanted.
We love our photos so much and it was great to have so many of all the guests enjoying the day and being able to share those with them.

I highly recommend Vinny?s services. He excels in capturing unscripted moments of joy, was a pleasure to work with, had lots of great ideas and did not need much guidance from us - he captured some amazing natural, relaxed images while patrolling the event with his camera largely unnoticed, while still ensuring that the crucial family photos were taken, and after the event provided us with lots of high quality image files. I could not recommend highly enough.

We used the services of Photos by Vinny for our wedding in March 2018.
Vinny came recommended through a work colleague and I have to say we where not one bit disappointed.
Vinny arrived at our wedding venue in Wicklow the morning of our wedding and from the time he arrived his focus was on both of us and our Westhighland terrier.
Vinny made us feel very relaxed and the only brief we gave him was that we wanted our images to look natural and relaxed and that?s exactly what he achieved in our images.
We have since recommended Photos by Vinny to friends of ours who have also used his photography talents, they have all been very complementary about the overall experience and photograph delivered.
We would have no hesitation in using or further recommending Photos by Vinny, very personable gentleman who makes you feel relaxed and made our day memorable for many years to come.

I had met with 3 wedding photographers and Vinny was right immediately! He actually listened to me, didn't just run through a formula. This was super important for me. We were doing a registry office wedding with photos in the city centre. Vinny had so many ideas! Joy to be around, our families loved him. Thanks again!!!
