Polished

We booked the Polished girls for my brothers wedding in the Diamond Coast Hotel, Enniscrone, Co Sligo. A hairdresser and a makeup artist came and got all the sisters ready. 3 of us did makeup courses and would be handy with makeup and i have to say fiona is really good at knowing what would suit each of us. Great at doing brows and lashes.Sara also did lovely job of glam upstyles. Very good value for money too.

Really happy with the service fiona provided for me and my sisters for my brothers wedding in Harveys Point. She does hair and makeup really well which is unusual as id normally have to go to a different person for each. On top of her talents she is the ultimate professional honest and very hardworking. Would highly recommend.

I got married in July. I spent the year previous researching every detail as all you brides to be would know. I had a very clear vision on how the day would be from decor to flowers, bridesmaid dress to make up. I just needed to find the people who could see the vision as I did. When it came to the make up, this needed to be perfect (as I would be very handy with an eye shadow brush myself) A member of the Polished came to my house for a trial, I explained my idea for me and my bridesmaids and away she went. The trial went brilliant; it was such a weight off my mind, as you can imagine there was so much more I needed to get off my list. The day of the wedding she came to the house and got straight into it, she really is a true professional very focused and detailed. I can say hand on heart the makeup was perfect, not one touch up all day. I was extremely emotional on the day crying every other minute and the first thing I'd say to my chief was "fix my make up" and every time she said it's perfect! When I cry there is no hiding it, my eyes, nose and cheeks go red. But looking at the pictures you would never know I shed a tear. I am so glad I found Polished- the tools the makeup and the method was excellent. Thanks again.

Two days before i got married Ita and the Polished team came to my house to do waxing, tans, and nails. They returned the following evening do my familys bits. In the midst of those chaotic days prior to the wedding, they created a peaceful space in the comfort of my own home where we were polished to perfection. They are extremely professional. Attention to detail is second to none. On my wedding day, many people looking at my wedding ring also commented on how beautiful my nails were. For the personalised service they offer, the rates are very reasonable.

Thank you so much for doing such a great job at our wedding - my own makeup, as well as the girls and Mum - we were all delighted with it and it was great not to have to touch up during the day. You were brilliant at knowing what colours suited each of us and I would definitely (and have!!) recommend anybody to use you as their makeup artist! For such a big day, it was great to have someone who knew what they were doing and made us all look like princesses!!

I was thinking of getting gel nails for my wedding and the nail techs in Polished were recommended to me by a friend. I was anxious as I did not want my nails to look cheap and plastic! They was excellent! They are perfectionists and I was thrilled with the finish. The look was neat and natural. They lasted 3 plus weeks. On our honeymoon I swam every day in a pool and in the sea and my nails still looked fabulous when we arrived home. The evening before our wedding Marie came to my home and set up her table in the dining room. She worked quietly and professionally which left me stress free the night before my big day. I would whole heartedly recommend Marie from Polished.
