Shane is hands down the best magician I have every come across. A month on he is still one of the main talking points of our wedding. I have had lots of friends contact me for his details for events because of the show he put on. He blended into the crowd and performed some of the most amazing unique tricks I have ever seen, He has a great sense of humour and let us all SHOOK! HIGHLY recommended Shane for ANY function!

Near two weeks on from our wedding and people are still talking about how amazing Shane was! I have never seen a mentalist as good as him. He blended into the wedding party and left people shocked and amused. If you are looking for entertainment for any event I would highly recommend Shane!

Shane is absolutely outstanding! He created such a buzz at our wedding and left everyone he spoke to mesmerised. The main highlight for us was watching him go around the tables and seeing everyone's reactions. What an entertainer!!

We had the absolute pleasure of Shane Black performing at our wedding three weeks ago in The Hamlet Court Hotel. We booked Shane for our wedding after previously seen him perform at another wedding we attended. From the first point of contact with Shane, I can only describe him as an absolute gentleman. Shane entertained guest at our drinks reception which was a massive ice breaker and got everyone chatting. Shane also did an unbelievable job on the audio that introduced us in for the first time as Mr. & Mrs. Shane also went from table to table during the meal and kept our guests entertained as well as doing a stand up show for everyone before the speeches. Our guests were blown away by Shane and are still talking about him today. Shane was really a massive part of our day. I have no idea how he does what he does but you will not be disappointed. Shane we sincerely thank you from the bottom of our hearts for been such a special part of our day and making it so memorable.

Shane provided an unforgettable experience for our wedding party in Laois. He was a great laugh and everyone enjoyed his mind blowing tricks at the party and then he topped it all with a grand finale for us as the wedding couple. I won't ruin the surprise but he left us with some amazing memories and everyone really found he added a lot to the day.

Utterly Magical! Delighted to have Shane astound the guests at our wedding. Stunned silence, to shrieks of both awe and laughter filled the afternoon lull between ceremony and dinner. 1 year married last week and people still talk about Shane as a standout memory. And the photos! His photographer was non-intrusive and the results created priceless memories!

Shane's performance at our wedding reception left everyone absolutely astounded. His talent was beyond belief, and our guests couldn't wrap their heads around how incredible his act was. He was extremely kind, giving a special performance for the wedding team, and making sure that no one was left behind. His performance was a topic of conversation throughout the night. We can't thank him enough for making our celebration even more unforgettable.

Myself and my husband, Dan, had originally seen Shane perform about 8 years ago at a friends wedding and as we were so impressed, we always said we would love him to be a part of our day. When we got engaged and were then organising our own wedding in Ballymagarvey Village, there was no question in our minds that we would have Shane join us, to make our day even more magical.
From start to finish Shane was so easy to deal with and advised us on which package may suit us best, taking into account the number of guests. He also created a very special audio for us, to use for our room entrance, which our guests all commented on.
As for Shane's performance itself, well there just isn't enough words to describe the magic and excitement that filled Ballymagarvey on 12th July. The shock and surprise on our guests face were priceless and I am so thankful that Shane brought along his own photographer to catch all the reactions - special memories that we will have forever! He truly made our wedding for us and almost two months on, our guests are still talking about him, trying to figure out ?how he did it????? . A must for your wedding reception drinks. The cherry on top… bringing more magic to a magical day. Shane was the single most talked about part of our wedding day. Two months on people are still trying to figure out the illusions and tricks. Shane had people in stitches laughing and in absolute shock during his performances. The reaction photos of yourselves, and our guest, that we got back from Shane are amazing. It was a pleasure to work with Shane in the run up to the wedding and delighted to have had him part of our day.
The recorded voiceover Shane provided to announce us into the room for dinner was a classy extra touch that didn’t go unnoticed by our guests.

Shane was the highlight of our wedding at the Merrion hotel. So many guests have been complimenting the show and said that it was one of the funnest parts of the wedding. Shane was a fantastic addition to our wedding day - a real highlight. Family and friends are still mentioning him to us three months later, and no one has yet worked out how he performed any of the tricks! He was a delight to deal with and the addition of his own photographer was the icing on the cake as this resulted in brilliant reaction shots of our guests at a time when the wedding photographer was busy looking after bride and groom... a real bonus. We opted for the essential package after discussing the options with Shane - he had great insight and advice on what would work best for the day we had in mind along with our venue. We could not recommend Shane more highly, and would love to see him again at a future event!

I honestly don't know where to begin with how incredible Shane is. When we started the planning process we knew we wanted some sort of entertainment for our guests and it didn't take long at all to decide on reaching out to Shane. His professionalism and ease to work with through the booking process was fantastic. We had originally heard of Shane from my brother in law and how he had performed all manner of tricks and been a big hit at a wedding he had attended. We wanted to entertain our guests during a drinks reception after the ceremony while we were off grabbing some photos. I still haven't heard the end of praise and stories from Shane's performance during this time. A particular highlight of the day not only for our guests but ourselves as well. Shane performed a trick for my wife and I at the end and it still cannot even begin to work out how it is even possible. A definite hit on the day with everyone and so glad we went with Shane on the day.

Shane Black performed at our day 2 of our wedding on 1/5/22 at Clonwilliam House. He was the absolute highlight of the day! The illusions he performed were mind blowing. Our guests were so entertained and could not stop talking about him! He performed the most amazing illusion with myself and my husband for all our guests at the end of his time. We were all in awe! Couldn't recommend Shane Black highly enough. He was the perfect pre-dinner entertainment everyone was raving about how good he was. We knew he would be good from how freaked out we were from the demo at our first meeting via zoom but what he delivered on the day was beyond our expectations. After seeing Shane perform at my sisters wedding a couple of years previous we just knew we had to have him entertain at ours. Apart from myself and my husband, Shane was the absolute star of the show. He showed up and got stuck in with our guests immediately and they loved every minute! Absolutely engaging and friendly. When we couldn't have live music at our wedding due to Covid rules, we knew we still wanted to have some kind of entertainment for guests to keep people having fun after dinner. Covid Wedding have been challenging enough. Limited number of guests and entertainment. We were so lucky to be able to have the fantastic Shane Black attend and entertain both our guests and ourselves at our Wedding on the 23rd July this year.

We had the amazing opportunity to have Shane attend our wedding this month. An absolute gentleman and great addition to the entertainment at our wedding. Shane performed at our wedding recently and i can only say that it was the best money we ever spent! From the first email to him leaving the hotel, he was an absolute pleasure to work with. Due to covid we had to postpone our wedding and had to drop the guest numbers to 42. We were very unsure as to what entertainment/ music would suit the small crowd. Shane was the perfect choice! He knew what would suit the group and mixed extremely well with everyone. He had people mesmerised within minutes!
Having Shane there broke the 'lull' in between the meal and entertainment (which was a dj) and was just what the crowd needed. He was a firm favourite of adults and children and people are still talking about him! He did the impossible on the night and it was truly amazing! I would highly recommend Shane for any sort of gathering/ party and am delighted to say that he was part of our special day.

Absolutely amazing... We booked Shane as we had a wedding during COVID. A family wedding with friends joining us later as it was a small number of guests (36) we felt after dinner the atmosphere might die down so that's how we booked Shane and it was the best decision. Everyone was stunned how he does what he does... All of us were left completely stunned and amazed!!! Adults and teenagers loved the show... We had younger children / teenagers at the wedding which Shane was brilliant with very patient and spent time with them afterwards explaining and showing them tricks they were all completely in awe!!! We booked Shane as we were looking for something that would get our guests mingling and talking to each other during the drinks reception (as we've lived in a lot of different places a lot of our guests didn't know many/any of the others). Shane did a great job and blew a few minds in the process. A couple of our most skeptical guests are still driving themselves mad trying to work out how he can do what he does -we even had one guest report a couple of sleepless nights after seeing him. We found the easiest thing to do was to ask no questions and just allow ourselves to be amazed!
We weren't exactly sure what we were letting ourselves in for as we hadn't seen anything like this at a wedding (or any event) before, safe to say that Shane far exceeded our expectations. We were pleased that all our guests got to see him in action, he made a big effort to be sure that he got around to everybody before he finished up. We would highly recommend him for any event.

Myself and Gavin got married on Friday. We booked shane months and months before our big day and were so looking forward to seeing what he was going to do. On the day we had guests coming up to us telling us how great he was and when he came to us we knew exactly what they were talking about he absolutely blew us away. His manner was just as good as his performance. He made sure to get to everyone and even told us to let him know if there was anyone in particular we wanted him to go to. I have hired Shane on a number of occasions to entertain some of our corporate clients and more recently for my own wedding. I can honestly say he is the consummate professional and his show is world class, not to mention mind boggling. We booked Shane over email as we live in Australia and had lots of recommendations for him by a few friends. We where looking for a bit of entertainment for guests after the ceremony while we where away getting pictures taken, also thought it was a great idea to have him go around the tables when guests had been seated. Without a doubt Shane is AMAZING at what he does. Having never actually met Shane until the wedding day we where a bit nervous as to what to expect but we were blown away with his professionalism and manor. He came out and introduced himself to us and to let us know he was there and getting started. All of our guests loved him and raved about him for weeks after. We thought we wouldn't get much time to see him but he actually pulled us away for a little private show while guests where getting seated for dinner. It was so good and we really appreciated it as we truly got to see what he could do and we couldn't believe our eyes. Shane's act was one of the highlights of the day for us, and our guests. His talent is fascinating and entertaining in equal measure. We left booking Shane until very late. He had another gig that day on but was flexible on both timing and price to give us as much of a show as he could, before he had to leave for the next one.

When we arrived at the reception about an hour after Shane had started, we had friends and family walking around a little shell-shocked and demanding to know what personal information we had shared with Shane in advance (we hadn't). People had no idea how he knew what he knew (and neither do we).

Shane made a point of involving us both in a couple of tricks, so that we got to enjoy the show as well as the guests. Due to the limited amount of time, he also made a point of performing to larger groups of guests, so as many people as possible got to see him.

We particularly liked Shane's trick of asking a guest about a holiday, but already having the details written in a sealed envelope.

Shane was a pleasure to deal with and the show was excellent. A great way to keep the crowd entertained.

We had Shane perfom at our wedding on New Years Eve 2018. We had never seen Shane perform before and had booked him purely on reviews that we had read and seen some of the reaction photos. We wanted some pre-dinner entertainment and was seeking something a bit different to the norm. We were a little apprehensive in the lead up to the day as we weren't sure how the show would go and if it would be a hit. We needed have worried it was AMAZING!
It was the best decision to book Shane!! On the day of the wedding, the next day and since our friends and family have not stopped talking about his performance. They were blown away by his skills and it was a great ice breaker at the wedding and a great way to bring our guests together.
Shane was very professional, and appeared really enthusiastic to give a great performance. He definitely stayed over the allocated time that we had agreed and got around to all tables.
We booked his assistant photographer also and have since got the reaction photos posted to us, over 200 photos which are so hilarious and capture the brilliant reactions of our guests.
If you are considering booking Shane for your wedding i would strongly advise that you do, you can't go wrong and everyone will love it from little children to older guests and it's a great way to bring groups together from across both your families.

We booked Shane for our wedding on the 17/11/2018. Simply put, it was without doubt the best decision we made.

Finding words to explain how incredible his performance was is proving to be difficult. They say a picture paints a thousand words; well I can still vividly picture the look of amazement on our guest's faces and also hear the shouts and gasps of disbelief as he moved through the room performing a huge variety of magic and mind reading
.
We opted for the 4hr performance; this allowed Shane time with our guests at the drinks reception prior to the meal, and then further time during and after the meal. We had 210 guests in total, and amazingly everyone got to witness his talent. During the meal you can also request particular tables for time to be focused on such as those of close family/friends.

Shane is an absolute gentleman, friendly, funny and very professional. An example which confirms all was when one of our guests embarrassingly mistook him for a hotel manager and asked him for some gravy! His reply was ?leave it with me?, and then discreetly passed the message onto the hotel staff. Such was the quality of his magic I was nearly expecting him to conjure up a boat of gravy from somewhere!

Throughout the evening each and every guest we were speaking to commented on how much they enjoyed the magic and how they had never seen anything like it. Even at the end of the night and the days after, our guests were still raving about it.

I would like to make a point of emphasizing how high level Shane's magic and mentalist work are. His work is multiples classes above other magicians I have seen at functions. The things he can do simply blow your mind, leave you awestruck, questioning reality and wondering how is that even possible? I highly doubt there is anyone else out there that even comes close to his level.

My final advice would be, put less emphasis on selfie mirrors, sweet carts, doughnut walls etc. Invest your money in booking a performance from Shane, I assure you it will be the best decision you make. It will make your wedding day stand apart from all others and also make it a day you and your guests will never forget.

I?d been a wedding coordinator for 7 years and had seen Shane several times and always thought he was so amazing. Then our bridesmaids organized him as a surprise at our wedding and oh my god what a present!! He had guests both freaked out and in awe in equal measures. Everyone young and old enjoyed it. I would absolutely recommend him!! He is amazing and a very down to earth lad too which makes it all even better.

We had Shane at our wedding on 6th September, and he was fantastic, he entertained all the guests and it was a talking point for everyone , I'm still in awe of his talent, and would love to see him in action again. Of all the entertainment booked for that day, shane was by far the most memorable!

Shane was amazing from start to finish. He had all our guests mesmerised. They were still talking about him the next day. Absolutely excellent addition to the entertainment of the wedding. He stayed for the drinks reception and then went around the tables during the main reception so that every table had been seen. In total he spent close to 5 hours with us. I cannot sing his praises enough. He had so many mind tricks that nearly every table had a different mind blowing experience. I can't recommend him enough.

WOW! That pretty much sums up Shane's performance, he was the talk of the wedding after! After all the planning and little bits you try to do to make your wedding different Shane was the icing on the cake for us!

Shane entertained our wedding guests on the 3rd of August. Three weeks later the guests are still on a high talking about him and how he amazed them. I heard Shane was good but you really have to see him in action to believe how good he is. Even the guests that doubted him wer left gobsmacked. He's definitely not your average magician. Shane is a lovely person and brilliant to deal with. So relaxed and easy going but great fun too. I would definitely recommend booking his photographer karine. She captured some brilliant shots, mostly hilarious ones of shocked faces. I really hope to see Shane at an event or wedding again soon, he really made our day that bit extra special!

It was an absolute pleasure to deal with Shane from start to finish, his communication was fantastic and he was professional throughout, and got back to us immediately with the answers to any questions we had.

He performed at our Wedding at the end of July in Dun Laoghaire, and all of our guests absolutely loved it, they couldn't stop talking about what they had seen all night and it has been many a topic of conversation since the wedding.

Shane was very good at mixing with the wedding party, and ensuring as many people as possible got involved and saw him perform.
What we really liked was that he made a point to make sure that he made time for us, amongst our 70 or so guest to give us our own performance, and he wasn't in a rush to head off after the time that we booked him was up, which we really appreciated.

We feel it really brought the group together and helped to act as an icebreaker at the beginning of the ceremony.

When I say I cannot recommend Shane enough, that is an understatement. He entertained 130 people at the wedding pre-dinner reception. It was such a great start to the reception, everybody was talking about it for the rest of the day and on the second day. His talent in doing what he does is amazing. I have seen Shane entertain at different functions about 5 or six times now and he still leaves me in awe. Would highly recommend you book if you want a class act for your guests.

Shane black is truly mind boggling when it comes to his work. We got great feed back from our guests after the wedding with what he had done with them. If you are looking for people to be talking about your big day he is the man for the job no doubt.

So yet another (boring) wedding was on the horizon but this time is was my own. I didn't want my wedding to be yet 'another' wedding and dreading seeing my guests yawning. So off I went on a mission, trawling through weddings online trying to find not only the best entertainment but something that was a little different, a little exciting and a major wow factor. I came across Shane Black, his reviews had me a little excited and he has won best entertainer but the cost was working out the same as my wedding dress!! I took a leap of faith and booked him.

Shane was probably the one that I was concerned about the most on the day as I hadn't had the pleasure of seeing him in action before. Concerns soon drifted away he ended up being not only the best entertainer of the day but the most shocking and still 3 weeks on my guests are still talking about him. I'm just raging I wasn't part of the guests who got to enjoy his company a bit more !!

Our money well spent and please if booking I'd recommend Shane's own photographer also, she picked up reactions that I now able to keep for a lifetime.

Shane was the best decision of our whole wedding. Even from when we had a preview at our house we were blown away. He was at the wedding early and even stayed a bit late to accommodate us. Shane was the first piece of entertainment we booked for our wedding. We were delighted to have him at our wedding and the tricks and mind games he played at our wedding, we still talk about them. He was extremely professional and works a crowd very well, so well many people thought he was a guest! If you're lucky enough to get him to your wedding, you should!

The first time I seen Shane was at a work night. Myself and all my colleagues thought he was amazing. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Shane also interacts so well with people. I knew then that I wanted to surprise my Sister and I booked Shane for her wedding. Yet again Shane did a superb job. He made sure he got around to every guest at the wedding and gave the Bride and Groom some extra special treats to enjoy. I could see nothing but enjoyment on everyones faces. Also I could see people going up to Shane and would say please come to our table next. Everyone was speaking very greatly of Shane and still are. He went above and beyond our expectations. My Sister and Hubby were delighted. I would highly reccommed Shane to anyone.

Shane was amazing, people of all ages loved him and were talking about him all night. He was not at all cheesy either (which my husband was worried about when he heard 'magician'). Shane didn't do any big performances, he just moved discreetly from small group to small group and got as many guests as possible involved. His tricks were really incredible as well - Derren Brown style! We felt he added so much to the day and was such a talking point.

This was one of the best choices we made for our wedding! Shane Black is just amazing! He dealt easily with our guests of many different cultural backgrounds and went down a treat with all.

We booked Shane for our wedding based on previous reviews and having seen him perform at a previous Vegas themed party.

We have to say that we couldn't recommend Shane enough! Everyone at the wedding was amazed and are still talking about him. His tricks are unbelievable and go way beyond your average card trick.

We also had kids attending our wedding and he went out of his way to entertain them too. Shane also stayed on way beyond the previously agreed time, even after we insisted he was free to go! ????

I booked Shane Black for my sisters wedding. Shane was brilliant, I can not recommend him enough, one of the highlights of the wedding. Shane was absolutely amazing! He had all of our guests and ourselves in shock with his performance. We had Shane booked for our drinks reception after our wedding ceremony, he was on time and so friendly. He worked the room, making sure to perform and amaze all our guests. Shane was highly professional from the very start. I have been to weddings in the past where that pre reception gap was left with nothing but guests looking at their watches, I booked Shane to fill this gap and guests couldn't of been happier with lots of compliments and positive feedback leaving guests with their jaws dropped. What impressed me most was the letter he had written that morning about two guests at the wedding, how it all came together amazed me! Then myself, Stephen and his niece thinking we were holding a deck of cards and when we lifted our hands it was something else. Just amazing, I would highly recommend Shane for any event and he fit in perfectly at our wedding.

Although it's taken us a ridiculous amount of time to get round to reviewing Shane's performance at our wedding last year (and never normally write reviews at all!) we cannot recommend him highly enough. We took a bit of a punt on hiring him - we had not seen him perform, but had heard rave reviews from others - and we are so glad we did!

Shane was engaging and charming and put everyone at ease. He appealed to absolutely everyone and really tailored the performance to the audience. The performances themselves were absolutely incredibly and we still cannot fathom how any of the tricks were done. The guests were so impressed and have been talking about Shane ever since. The only downside to people being so enthralled and wanting to see more was that he didn't manage to get round all the tables during the meal, so not everyone saw him, but he certainly did his best!

Some guests from England were so impressed they wanted him to come to their son's wedding and would have booked him on the spot, but unsurprisingly he was already booked! Shane also stayed slightly later than agreed so that he could include more guests, and although we would happily have paid extra to have him stay all night unfortunately he had another booking! We can also say that Shane is a really honest guy - we had inadvertently sent him the deposit twice and he let us know and refunded us the extra money immediately when we wouldn't even have noticed we'd done it (wedding brains!).

Overall we are SO glad we booked Shane for our wedding - it made an amazing day even more special and we would definitely urge you to book him for yours!! His magic really is mind-blowing.

Shane performed at my brother's wedding three years ago, and, having experienced his capabilities first hand, I had little trouble in convincing my fianc? that we simply had to secure his services for our recent wedding - and we were not disappointed!
From my initial contact with him right through to his departure from our wedding, Shane's professionalism was second to none. And the experience he provided our guests with still has them mystified and talking about it - his skills are mind boggling and you will be left scratching your head indefinitely trying to figure out how he's done it. We always knew where Shane was in the room as every minute or two shrieks of excitement and surprise would erupt at one of the tables!

We had Shane booked for the couple of hours post ceremony and pre meal. From the minute he arrived, he was entertaining guests, and bringing people together and including as many people as he could. He was charming and funny, but most of all his magic was amazing. Everybody loved his tricks and illusions. We would highly recommend him.

Shane performed during the drinks reception at our wedding on June 26th. I can not recommend Shane highly enough!! Shane performed at our wedding in Kilkenny on 02May15. I contacted Shane initially to see if he was available for our pre-dinner drinks reception but he was already booked for another event. Instead he performed in between the courses of the meal and after the meal while the band was setting up. This actually worked out really well as it was a great talking point during the meal and it meant that there wasn't a lull in between the meal and the band as Shane was there to entertain!! Our Wedding party and our guests thoroughly enjoyed Shane's performance. Some of our guests even offered to pay Shane extra to stay on for longer!! Not only did he have everyone captivated, he also has a great way about him and is a true professional. A huge highlight of our Wedding day!

We had seen shane about 2 years go at a friends wedding and when we got engaged we had to make sure shane was part of our big day. We arrived to hotel on our big day and already people were commenting on shane doing tricks. He adds alot of atmosphere to the room. We found it helped people mingle that did not know each other it was a conversation starter for people. We had about 15 mins left before going to room for speeches and meal and shane sat down with myself and susan and had a few tricks for us. The one that blew our mind was were he asked susan to think of a holiday where she was on holidays with somebody that is not in the hotel at the wedding. Susan picked her friend showed me(PERSONS NAME WAS CAT)and then shane ripped up the paper gave to susan and asked were was the holiday susan had said santa ponsa and then asked what year susan said 2009. Shane then out a little envolpe stapled 20 times handed to susan. It was opened by myself and read inside "DONT ASK HOW I KNOW ABOUT YOYR HOLIDAY TO SANTA PONSA WHICH TOOK PLACE IN 2009 I JUST HOPE YOU AND CAT HAD A FANTASTIC TIME THERE" we could not believe it was amazing u really cant put a price on quality was really worth the fee AMAZING MIND BLOWING are just 2 words that can describe shane.

If you are thinking about hiring shane for an event i really wouldn't hesitate! We booked shane for our wedding in february and prior to seeing him a few years back at a family wedding he had so much more new mind boggling tricks to show.. Everyone's still talking about him! We were both really impressed with how he made sure we both got our value for money before he left by showing myself and paul some new material!! ???? definitely money well spent!!!

I booked Shane to perform at my wedding (pre-dinner time) having seen him at a work event previously. I wanted something different and to entertain people before the dinner reception. The feedback I got from the guests was that Shane was the best part of the wedding!!) He had everyone's attention, so much so they didn't want to go for their dinner! He entertained the entire crowd including the children, taking time to perform to individuals as well as the small groups. It was possibly the best part of the day and one no one will ever forget. ?To anyone considering hiring a magician for their party or event, I cannot recommend Shane Black highly enough. He is absolutely amazing. I contacted Shane when my partner and I were organizing our wedding party, and after I had carried out a lot of research into other acts, I was very intrigued as to what Shane could do. He promised something different and wow, did he deliver!

Our guests were blown away with his skills and they are still talking about him now. Shane seems to have been the most memorable part of our party, and that's saying something when you consider that our party was Las Vegas style with all the trimmings. Shane actually worked the whole theme to his advantage and was at home with the cards and tables around him as he worked his magic.

Shane's strengths are in his abilities and how he engages guests. I won't give away any details but Shane performed two signature effects in particular which just made everyone's hair stand on end.
