Shane provided an unforgettable experience for our wedding party in Laois. He was a great laugh and everyone enjoyed his mind blowing tricks at the party and then he topped it all with a grand finale for us as the wedding couple. I won't ruin the surprise but he left us with some amazing memories and everyone really found he added a lot to the day.

A huge thank you to Shane for his literally "magical" skills. I thought that our guest would be talking about the amazing venue, delicious food, and great company but instead they are still asking "how did Shane do that?"

If we could add more stars to this review we would!!! Shane did an amazing job with entertaining our guests at our wedding drinks reception, getting the day off to such a fun start. Everyone is still talking about his unbelievable mind reading and magic tricks, still trying to figure out how he did it all. His photographer took such fantastic reactions of our guests to his tricks, we have those photo memories of our guests having fun forever, which is priceless!!! He also recorded our entrance announcement which sounded stunning and he was so professional to deal with. We would highly recommend him!

We used Shane for our wedding as entertainment in September and he was by far and away a highlight of the day! Our guests loved everything about the performance and were raving about it to us for weeks afterwards.
The photos taken of the guest reactions on the day were excellent - really adding to the experience and we are delighted to have them as an additional keepsake of the day.
Shane is a commensurate professional and an outstanding addition to anyone's event or wedding - highly highly recommend and we'll be using his services again in the future!

Shane's performance at our wedding reception left everyone absolutely astounded. His talent was beyond belief, and our guests couldn't wrap their heads around how incredible his act was. The expressions of sheer amazement on people's faces were priceless ? you had to witness it to believe it. This wasn't your typical "pull a card from your sleeve" magician routine. Shane is on a whole different level. I admit, I was highly skeptical at first, but his skills surpassed anything I could have imagined. Shane moved from table to table, captivating everyone with his mind-bending abilities. He was extremely kind, giving a special performance for the wedding team, and making sure that no one was left behind. His performance was a topic of conversation throughout the night. We can't thank him enough for making our celebration even more unforgettable.

Myself and my husband, Dan, had originally seen Shane perform about 8 years ago at a friends wedding and as we were so impressed, we always said we would love him to be a part of our day. When we got engaged and were then organising our own wedding in Ballymagarvey Village, there was no question in our minds that we would have Shane join us, to make our day even more magical.
From start to finish Shane was so easy to deal with and advised us on which package may suit us best, taking into account the number of guests. He also created a very special audio for us, to use for our room entrance, which our guests all commented on.
As for Shane?s performance itself, well there just isn?t enough words to describe the magic and excitement that filled Ballymagarvey on 12th July. The shock and surprise on our guests face were priceless and I am so thankful that Shane brought along his own photographer to catch all the reactions - special memories that we will have forever! Shane, you rocked our day, people are still talking about you, the guesses on how you do it include magnets, someone spying from the ceiling, you trawling social media (though given the average age of our guests I cannot see how that would work lol), you just hypnotised the whole room, you have sold your soul to the devil or our personal favourite you have a spirit guide that you have enslaved for all eternity.

A must for your wedding reception drinks. The cherry on top… bringing more magic to a magical day. Shane was the single most talked about part of our wedding day. Two months on people are still trying to figure out the illusions and tricks. Shane had people in stitches laughing and in absolute shock during his performances. The reaction photos of yourselves, and our guest, that we got back from Shane are amazing. It was a pleasure to work with Shane in the run up to the wedding and delighted to have had him part of our day.

Shane absolutely blew our guests away during our wedding reception - people are still talking about what they saw and trying to figure out how it was possible. He'd prepared a special trick for us as the wedding couple but made his way round lots of our guests - and impressed everyone, including lots of people who would have been pessimistic about a mentalist entertainer - the photos of he reactions are just great - I only wish we'd had Shane for longer! Thanks so much Shane - would 100% recommend you for wedding entertainment.

Shane was the highlight of our wedding at the Merrion hotel. So many guests have been complimenting the show and said that it was one of the funnest parts of the wedding. Shane engaged with everyone and made everyone feel the magic. He went above and beyond by staying much longer and doing extra magic tricks to make sure he covered all the guests.

Shane was a fantastic addition to our wedding day - a real highlight. Family and friends are still mentioning him to us three months later, and no one has yet worked out how he performed any of the tricks! He was a delight to deal with and the addition of his own photographer was the icing on the cake as this resulted in brilliant reaction shots of our guests at a time when the wedding photographer was busy looking after bride and groom... a real bonus. We opted for the essential package after discussing the options with Shane - he had great insight and advice on what would work best for the day we had in mind along with our venue. We could not recommend Shane more highly, and would love to see him again at a future event!

We booked Shane as we had gotten so many reccomendations for him and I have to say he did not disappoint! We got married last month and people are still talking about him. Shane made an appearance at my husbands workplace and left my husband absolutely speechless. With that being said, I wanted to invite Shane to preform at our wedding and mingle with our guests. Shane has made our wedding day memorable for us and especially our guests. Our guests still talk about their experience and try to figure out his tricks but have no luck. I cannot recommend Shane enough for his talent, charm and professionalism throughout. If you want an amazing experience for yourself, employees family or guests I cant recommend him enough. I honestly don't know where to begin with how incredible Shane is. When we started the planning process we knew we wanted some sort of entertainment for our guests and it didn't take long at all to decide on reaching out to Shane. His professionalism and ease to work with through the booking process was fantastic. Every guest that got to see Shane or interact with him is raving about him, the things he can do and knows, its just mind blowing!!!!! Hearing all the stories back is just giving us such joy. Our genuine only regret is not booking Shane for the full day! Honestly if you are having any doubts on the packages, you will not regret booking Shane for the full event. Absolutely amazing!!!! We had the pleasure of having Shane for our wedding entertainment during the drinks reception at Ballymagarvey Village, Co Meath. He was absolutely fantastic and blew everyone away with his tricks. In fact, I know that many of my guests are looking to book Shane for their upcoming events. When I booked Shane, I got the package which included a photographer and entrance music for the dinner entrance which sounded amazing. The photos we got are great fun and shows people having such a great time, in fact I believe we wouldn?t have captured these guests if we didn?t book the photographer along with shane so thank you. I cannot recommend Shane enough! Believe the hype, he is definitely worth getting.

We had the pleasure of having Shane at our wedding to entertain our guests. I can not say enough good things about him. He made the say so special all the guest loved him and have spent many weeks trying to work out how he does it! He also had a special trick for my two girls and an amazing special prize for them. Shane has won us all over including the band! If your thinking about getting Shane please do. When we first started planning the wedding, a magician was definitely something we both wanted. Due to the overall cost of a wedding, we were on the fence about having one, but in the end, after having Shane recommended to us and doing some online research into him, it was simply a must to have him there, and we couldn?t have been more right to do so. He is incredibly talented with his craft and he convinced some non believers that magic might actually be real. He?s an incredibly professional and overall lovely person and has kept in contact with us and kept us in the loop with regards to when photos were going to be available, (having his own photographer is a fantastic idea and seeing the photos has really given us belly laughs this evening), I couldn?t recommend Shane enough, and for any soon to be wed couples, Shane will really make your day incredibly special for yourselves and all your guests.

We had originally heard of Shane from my brother in law and how he had performed all manner of tricks and been a big hit at a wedding he had attended. We wanted to entertain our guests during a drinks reception after the ceremony while we were off grabbing some photos. I still haven't heard the end of praise and stories from Shane's performance during this time. A particular highlight of the day not only for our guests but ourselves as well. Shane performed a trick for my wife and I at the end and it still cannot even begin to work out how it is even possible. A definite hit on the day with everyone and so glad we went with Shane on the day.

All my guests were surprised and loved every minute of it he was fun and all the night they kept talking about him he was a joy to have at the reception and made the drinks reception part go so smoothly mixing with everyone I would highly recommend them half of my guests are going to get him for their weddings or parties it was a great night and made even more special with shane being there I would recommend Shane to anybody

I honestly just can't recommend Shane highly enough. We booked him just a week before our wedding and it was definitely the best decision we ever made. We just can't even put into words how amazing he is. He is just absolutely phenomenal. He will blow your mind and leave your guests talking about how brilliant he is. I don't know how he does it but he is just spectacular. I think on his website it says illusionist/magician but he has to be psychic too. It is not just me that said that but loads of our guests too. We had him for our reception for 2 hours and honestly I wish we had him from the end of the meal to start of the band too. If you are looking for something different and a mind blowing experience just book Shane. I would definitely double book him if you can and especially if you have a large wedding. I was so disappointed that a few guests did not get to experience Shane's amazing talent. I am trying to convince other people to book him for communions and 21st's as I would absolutely love to see him again. He is also an absolute gentleman. All I can say is don't think twice about booking him. He is worth every penny and more. I hope we have the pleasure of seeing him in action again soon cos he is just super talented.

Shane Black performed at our day 2 of our wedding on 1/5/22 at Clonwilliam House. He was the absolute highlight of the day! The illusions he performed were mind blowing. Our guests were so entertained and could not stop talking about him! He performed the most amazing illusion with myself and my husband for all our guests at the end of his time. We were all in awe! If you want a performance that will astound your guests, do not hesitate in booking Shane Black - he is simply brilliant!

Couldn?t recommend Shane Black highly enough. He was the perfect pre-dinner entertainment everyone was raving about how good he was. We knew he would be good from how freaked out we were from the demo at our first meeting via zoom but what he delivered on the day was beyond our expectations. I still have no idea how he does what he does but it?s incredible! He created such a buzz and excitement that carried through the whole day. The best thing I can say is I heard one or two people say the next day how disappointed they were to have missed him which shows how much people enjoyed it!!

Shane literally blew us away ! He had everyone absolutely mesmerised and talking about him for the rest of the night . Our only regret is that we didn?t get him for longer ! Genuinely cannot recommend him highly enough as a super addition to any wedding .

All I can say is, if you're thinking of booking Shane for your wedding, Do It. Don't hesitate. We had Shane at our wedding last week and couldn't recommend him enough. Having originally seen him at my sisters wedding nearly 10 years ago, I knew I would have him at my own one day. Shane was a pleasure to deal with from day 1 and even when we had to postpone it was no problem with Shane to change the date. On the day itself, all I can say is Wow. Shane blew everyone away. A class act. How he does what he does I'll never know but as entertainment goes,he is the best in the business. Everyone I've talked to since the wedding last week has said their minds were blown by Shane. They absolutely loved him. As we were busy getting photos I only got to see him do a couple of tricks throughout the day but Shane made sure to spend time with myself and my husband before we went for dinner and he certainly didn't disappoint. After seeing Shane perform at my sisters wedding a couple of years previous we just knew we had to have him entertain at ours. All we can say is WOW he was absolutely amazing totally blew all our guests away. Apart from myself and my husband, Shane was the absolute star of the show. He showed up and got stuck in with our guests immediately and they loved every minute! Absolutely engaging and friendly. I would highly recommend him, not just for weddings, he's astounding and to top it off, he's a really nice guy. Brilliant ice breaker for situations where not everyone knows each other. 3 months on and we're still getting compliments on his performance. He brings a sparkle and joy with him along with a great photographer! Well worth every penny. Made us feel so special. Truly incredible.

When we couldn't have live music at our wedding due to Covid rules, we knew we still wanted to have some kind of entertainment for guests to keep people having fun after dinner. Shane Black was amazing! Honestly better than having a band anyway! He visited tables during dinner to do up close tricks, and everyone's mind was blown. After dinner he did a stand up bit for the whole room, and it was the perfect way to get everyone laughing and keep the energy going. I really couldn't recommend him enough if you're looking for something unique that will keep people talking! Thank you Shane!

I had first heard about Shane years ago from my sister who had been at a wedding he was performing at and I said then whenever I get married I?m going to get him. One of the first things I did when we got engaged a year and a half ago was book Shane.

We had the amazing opportunity to have Shane attend our wedding this month. An absolute gentleman and great addition to the entertainment at our wedding. Many guests still talking about the performances carried out during our drinks reception. We also recieved excellent reaction photographs a number of days after the wedding. Shane performed far beyond our expectations.

Shane is honestly worth his weight in gold to have at your wedding! We could never have anticipated how amazing a decision including Shane would be. We went from an original guest list of 250 down to 40 people and wanted an entertainment option that would suit the crowd size and give our guests a different experience. Shane was so easy to deal with and was able to suggest appropriate timings and packages. We went for the arrivals option and when we arrived after our photos, the atmosphere in the room was incredible - everybody was mesmerised by Shane and anyone who arrived late was immediately pulled over to Shane by the other guests to witness him for themselves. It was the best ice-breaker and the stories from the act were still going at breakfast the following morning. Shane has a lovely manner of blending in with the guests and is a really genuine and likeable person! If you are worried a magician might be loud or flamboyant, the opposite could not be more true of Shane - a professional in every respect! We still don't have a clue how he does what he does - we can only hope he uses his powers for good when he's not entertaining. :)

Shane performed at our wedding recently and i can only say that it was the best money we ever spent! From the first email to him leaving the hotel, he was an absolute pleasure to work with. Due to covid we had to postpone our wedding and had to drop the guest numbers to 42. We were very unsure as to what entertainment/ music would suit the small crowd. Shane was the perfect choice! He knew what would suit the group and mixed extremely well with everyone. He had people mesmerised within minutes!

Absolutely amazing... We booked Shane as we had a wedding during COVID. A family wedding with friends joining us later as it was a small number of guests (36) we felt after dinner the atmosphere might die down so that's how we booked Shane and it was the best decision. Everyone was stunned how he does what he does... All of us were left completely stunned and amazed!!! Adults and teenagers loved the show... We had younger children / teenagers at the wedding which Shane was brilliant with very patient and spent time with them afterwards explaining and showing them tricks they were all completely in awe!!! I would 100% recommend Shane and we really hope we get to see his show again... Worth every penny!!

What can I say. People always comment that all you need for a good wedding is a nice meal and lively band, I am going to disagree. We had Shane at our wedding on Saturday and he is all everyone is talking about!

I am delighted we booked Shane for our wedding day. This may have been the best decision we made in regards to the whole event. Everybody is still raving to this day about how good Shane was. we booked Shane for our dinner entertainment and oh my goodness, he was the talk of all of the guests for the whole weekend. He is incredible at what he does, extremely professional and has a great way with the guests, giving as much time as possible to each person he engages with.

We booked Shane as we were looking for something that would get our guests mingling and talking to each other during the drinks reception (as we've lived in a lot of different places a lot of our guests didn't know many/any of the others). Shane did a great job and blew a few minds in the process. A couple of our most skeptical guests are still driving themselves mad trying to work out how he can do what he does -we even had one guest report a couple of sleepless nights after seeing him. We found the easiest thing to do was to ask no questions and just allow ourselves to be amazed!
We weren't exactly sure what we were letting ourselves in for as we hadn't seen anything like this at a wedding (or any event) before, safe to say that Shane far exceeded our expectations. We were pleased that all our guests got to see him in action, he made a big effort to be sure that he got around to everybody before he finished up. We would highly recommend him for any event.

Myself and Gavin got married on Friday. We booked shane months and months before our big day and were so looking forward to seeing what he was going to do. On the day we had guests coming up to us telling us how great he was and when he came to us we knew exactly what they were talking about he absolutely blew us away. His manner was just as good as his performance. He made sure to get to everyone and even told us to let him know if there was anyone in particular we wanted him to go to. And He def exceeded Me and Roisin’s expectations on our wedding day ,we read reviews all saying how good he was but this Does not compare until you see the man in action wit your own eyes, we booked Shane to stay on until just before the speaches so he could go round all the tables at dinner this package is slightly more expensive but worth everypenny and would also highly recommended anyone to take that package when booking Shane for their wedding. We booked Shane over email as we live in Australia and had lots of recommendations for him by a few friends. We where looking for a bit of entertainment for guests after the ceremony while we where away getting pictures taken, also thought it was a great idea to have him go around the tables when guests had been seated. Without a doubt Shane is AMAZING at what he does. Having never actually met Shane until the wedding day we where a bit nervous as to what to expect but we were blown away with his professionalism and manor. He came out and introduced himself to us and to let us know he was there and getting started. All of our guests loved him and raved about him for weeks after. We thought we wouldn?t get much time to see him but he actually pulled us away for a little private show while guests where getting seated for dinner. It was so good and we really appreciated it as we truly got to see what he could do and we couldn?t believe our eyes. We both can not recommend Shane enough he really set the mood for the day and blew everyone?s mind. We had guests asking if we gave him information about them, they just couldn?t believe the stuff he knew. He is a top class magician and worth every penny. Shane totally exceeded our expectations. We are still in shock at just how amazing he truly was. He was the highlight of our wedding and all our wedding guests absolutely loved him. We were told this several times. He is worth every penny and his professionalism and talent are something to be witnessed for yourself.People are already trying to book him for their own weddings. Shane had come highly recommended my now husband couldn?t stop talking about him so it was easy for us to have him at our wedding. Shane is just simply the best in the business never seen anything like it before. He shocked spooked and had all our guests amazed. They are still talking about him. Shane is a must at any occasion. Shane was the talk of our wedding all of our guests were amazed with him he made sure too see all our guests and he entertained everyone of them.shane turned up early and left later than he was supposed to. Shane is truly a master magician he will blow your mind. I would highly recommend shane black and would pay double his price too see him again.

Absolutely blown away by Shane he was outstanding and made our wedding, all our guests were left speechless at how amazing Shane was.
Shane arrived early and stayed later to make sure all our guests got to experience his spectacular work.

We had Shane entertain our guests at our wedding one week ago and since then we have heard his name 1000 times!!! Everybody is commenting on how they were blown away by what he could do, even the more skeptical of the crowd. Shane was definitely the highlight of the day for our guests.
Initially when I suggested hiring Shane, John was not keen (being a skeptic himeself!!) but thanks to the special show Shane but on for him he has admitted for the first time in our marriage that I was right!!!
Thank you Shane, we wish you all the best in the future. To anybody looking for wedding entertainment that has the WOW factor, Shane is your man!

Shane performed at the reception drinks of our wedding. He was unreal, the guests were amazed. Totally worth every penny spent. We would definitely recommend anyone to book him for their wedding or event. Very easy, professional and friendly to deal with. Mingled seamlessly with our guests, just amazing.

Shane?s act was one of the highlights of the day for us, and our guests. His talent is fascinating and entertaining in equal measure. Long after he left, we were still asking ourselves, ?How did he do that?? Another point worth making is that he stayed around for a while answering questions from the kids who were mesmerised by what they saw. Generous touch.

Shane was absolutely amazing and his photography (her name I cannot remember) were so helpful, so friendly and completely made our day! People still talk about their experiences and I got married back in June. Best thing I did for our wedding was book shane! You won't be sorry you did!

Hired Shane for our recent wedding. Was actually a late decision to book but 1 of our best decisions.
Our guests loved it and are still baffled and amazed by it all. Was a real talking point and icebreaker between people. Shane really helped set the fun tone we were hoping for on our day. Shane was very professional & easy to work with and I would highly recommended him for any event really. Also delighted we hired his photographer to capture our guests reactions. Was a lot of fun looking through all the face reactions.

We recently had Shane at the drinks reception and during the meal at our wedding after I saw him at corporate events. He is absolutely amazing every time! All our guests were blown away by him and were talking about him for ages afterwards. He ensured to get around to all guests during the day. The reactions are priceless, he really added to our day! He is also very professional and nice to deal with, highly recommend and I look forward to seeing him again soon!!

Having Shane Black at our wedding was the absolute highlight for so many people. Everybody commented on his performance. People were mesmerized. I was delighted hearing and watching people's reactions.
We are in our mid forties and a lot of our relatives especially our parents, uncles and aunts are in the 60-70 age bracket, and we knew that a-lot of them wouldn't be around for the disco so it was really important for us that they were entertained and had something to talk about during the day. I'm so glad that I choose Shane for this purpose, my husband, father-in-law and brother-in-law wouldn't be great at splashing the cash but they were so impressed with Shane that for the first time in twelve years I heard them say in agreement well boy-jasus he was money well spent. That said it all for me.

We had Shane perform at the drinks reception of our wedding. - How my show added to your wedding, to help break the ice and pass time for the guests, between the ceremony and dinner, while we were having photos taken.
We left booking Shane until very late. He had another gig that day on but was flexible on both timing and price to give us as much of a show as he could, before he had to leave for the next one.
When we arrived at the reception about an hour after Shane had started, we had friends and family walking around a little shell-shocked and demanding to know what personal information we had shared with Shane in advance (we hadn't). People had no idea how he knew what he knew (and neither do we).
Shane made a point of involving us both in a couple of tricks, so that we got to enjoy the show as well as the guests. Due to the limited amount of time, he also made a point of performing to larger groups of guests, so as many people as possible got to see him.
We particularly liked Shane's trick of asking a guest about a holiday, but already having the details written in a sealed envelope.
Shane was a pleasure to deal with and the show was excellent. A great way to keep the crowd entertained.

We had Shane perfom at our wedding on New Years Eve 2018. We had never seen Shane perform before and had booked him purely on reviews that we had read and seen some of the reaction photos. We wanted some pre-dinner entertainment and was seeking something a bit different to the norm. We were a little apprehensive in the lead up to the day as we weren't sure how the show would go and if it would be a hit. We needed have worried it was AMAZING!

Shane was an absolutely fantastic addition to our wedding day. His act is unique and it was something different that got guests from both sides of the families interacting and chatting. Shane was very professional in his service, he responded quickly to emails and was there on the day entertaining guests from the get go. The guests couldn't stop talking over the entire weekend about the tricks that Shane did. Everyone was amazed by what he was doing and the feedback from the guests was that he was brilliant. We can't explain how Shane does what he does but it was fantastic - an excellent addition to our drinks reception. We would definitely recommend him for wedding entertainment. :)

They say that the food and the band are the most important and talked about part of a wedding, that is until you encounter Shane!! 1 month on from the wedding and our guests are still blown away by him!! Like all other reviews Shane gets, he's honestly that something different you want to book for your wedding.
One year on people still talk about him, every guest from every age never stopped talking about him.

We seen Shane perform at a friends wedding and had been totally blown away by his abilities. We knew there and then we wanted him for our wedding. We loved how he just blended in with the guests and had everyone shocked and in awe. So much so friends are still talking about him. In fact a member of my family had to walk away from one trick as he was in his words “Freaked out “. Words cannot describe what Shane is capable of and you must see it to believe it with your own eyes. Shane made our wedding day very unique and cannot thank him enough.

I?d been a wedding coordinator for 7 years and had seen Shane several times and always thought he was so amazing. Then our bridesmaids organized him as a surprise at our wedding and oh my god what a present!! He had guests both freaked out and in awe in equal measures. Everyone young and old enjoyed it. I would absolutely recommend him!! He is amazing and a very down to earth lad too which makes it all even better.

Shane was amazing from start to finish. He had all our guests mesmerised. They were still talking about him the next day. Absolutely excellent addition to the entertainment of the wedding. He stayed for the drinks reception and then went around the tables during the main reception so that every table had been seen. In total he spent close to 5 hours with us. I cannot sing his praises enough. He had so many mind tricks that nearly every table had a different mind blowing experience. I can?t recommend him enough.

We got a recommendation to have Shane entertain at our wedding and he did not disappoint. Our guests were mesmerized by his talents it was great entertainment for the guests at the hotel reception and during dinner would definitely recommend Shane to anyone he is very personable and great to deal with. The guests were raving about him that night and the next day some of the things he said and did were totally mind blowing.

WOW! That pretty much sums up Shane's performance, he was the talk of the wedding after! After all the planning and little bits you try to do to make your wedding different Shane was the icing on the cake for us!
The guests couldn't get enough of him, he was being dragged around the place and he entertained everybody under all that pressure. Hope we will see him again at another celebration, we cant recommend him enough.

Shane entertained our wedding guests on the 3rd of August. Three weeks later the guests are still on a high talking about him and how he amazed them. I heard Shane was good but you really have to see him in action to believe how good he is. Even the guests that doubted him wer left gobsmacked. He?s definitely not your average magician. Shane is a lovely person and brilliant to deal with. So relaxed and easy going but great fun too. I would definitely recommend booking his photographer karine. She captured some brilliant shots, mostly hilarious ones of shocked faces. I really hope to see Shane at an event or wedding again soon, he really made our day that bit extra special!

We hired Shane to entertain at our wedding reception last month and he was fantastic, we had 250 guest so it was a lot of people to get round to. Shane was able to gather larger groups at a time and absolutely wow the crowd. Our guest are still talking about how amazing he is and still can?t work out how he is so good. He got the crowd excited and set a really good atmosphere for the rest of the evening. Would highly recommend Shane Black for any occasion or event. Absolutely fantastic so thank you very much Shane. It was an absolute pleasure to deal with Shane from start to finish, his communication was fantastic and he was professional throughout, and got back to us immediately with the answers to any questions we had.
He performed at our Wedding at the end of July in Dun Laoghaire, and all of our guests absolutely loved it, they couldn't stop talking about what they had seen all night and it has been many a topic of conversation since the wedding.
Shane was very good at mixing with the wedding party, and ensuring as many people as possible got involved and saw him perform.
What we really liked was that he made a point to make sure that he made time for us, amongst our 70 or so guest to give us our own performance, and he wasn't in a rush to head off after the time that we booked him was up, which we really appreciated.
We feel it really brought the group together and helped to act as an icebreaker at the beginning of the ceremony.
We can't recommend him enough, if you are in any doubt don't hesitate, just book him ups, you wont regret it!

OMG what can i say ..I booked shane black for my wedding 3 weeks ago and he was absolutely amazing 3 weeks on and people r still talking about him he had my guests flabbergasted..he is so easy to deal with I originally had him booked for 3hours but I changed times twice and nothing was a problem so understanding I would highly recommend him to anyone my guests LOVED him xx

Unfortunately Shane had a death in the family a couple of days before my wedding and was unable to attend it himself. I found him so professional and helpful throughout an awful personal time for himself. He had already organized a backup magician before contacting me and made the change so easy. I would highly recommend him due to this professionalism.

I was between minds about booking Shane as he wasn't in our budget, but I am so glad I did, Shane was an absolute talking point on the day, and the days after. He got around to everyone and he blended in so well with each group. Shane was beyond professional throughout, from my first email inquiry right up until when he left us on the night. I would recommend anyone who is considering it to go for it, forget the photo booth, light up lights and extras that all add up and go with Shane, you won't regret it!

Shane absolutely wowed both us and all of our guests. People are still talking about it and wondering how he did all the amazing tricks right in front of their eyes. Shane was amazing. My first time seeing him I hadn't heard of before but I am so glad that I had the privilege of only seeing him but he also done a trick with me which was unbelievable. Everyone was talking about how amazing he was. We were in awe of him and a lovely guy as well. He just went through the wedding guests so discreetly and was in no way intrusive. Would highly recomend him. He was just brilliant!

I first saw Shane at an event in the 3Arena in Dublin about three or four years ago. When he first approached our table we were very wary as we didn't know what to expect but he absolutely amazed us all so much so that I kept his card and it was the best decision I ever made. Shane was the first Supplier we booked for our wedding. In fact as soon as we booked our date I checked to see if he was available and to my delight he was! When we arrived at our hotel reception after pictures he was all that our guests were talking about! They are still talking about him to this day!! Shane was extremely professional from the minute we booked him and always kept in contact in the run up to the wedding. He completely amazed our guests and moved from table to table in an unobtrusive manner. It really made our day to look down at our guests from the top table and see them all laughing and enjoying themselves! I would have no hesitation in recommending Shane to any couple considering booking him for their wedding. You won't be disappointed!!

I knew when it came to my only Brother's wedding that booking Shane would be the perfect gift. Shane was, as always, truly amazing. He is the quintessential professional, greeting guests with equal amounts of finesse and charm, fascinating each and every one he met with his incredible talent. He moved seamlessly from the drinks reception, through to dinner, with whispers of "he's amazing!" "have you seen him?" "you have to see him!" before arriving at the top table to astonish the bridal party. Even the most sceptical of quests were intrigued and amazed and everyone had a story or a memento. I cannot recommend Shane enough, there is no doubting Shane's brilliance, he is the perfect addition to anyone's perfect day.

We saw Shane at a birthday party and a wedding so we knew we had to have him at our wedding. We sent a mail checking availabitly and we got sorted all in one day it was so straight forward and he was great to deal with. Shane recently performed at our wedding reception and literally blew our guests away with his amazing talent. We had been looking for something exciting and unique to entertain our quests during that "downtime" between the ceremony and the meal. Shane certainly ticked that box, everyone that witnessed his performance still cant stop talking about it! We really can't express how exciting and jaw-dropping it is to see such talent up close and in the flesh. It was spine tingling to witness such a performance that you only expect to see on TV!
We had a slight concern that this kind of entertainment might lead to a "carnival" atmosphere as guests might get over excited. However this was not the case. Considering the extent of his incredible talent, Shane is a very humble and down to earth guy. He moved through the reception seamlessly, blending in with the quests in a non-intrusive manner, always polite and charming.
We were lucky that the entire day went off really well, with an amazing band but its pretty clear from chatting to our guests that Shane's performance was the highlight of the day for many.

Shane performed at our wedding in The Millhouse, Slane, County Meath. Shane clearly loves what he does and this circulated around the room from the personal craft he showed both of us, right through to the 120 guests we had. He was the focal point of our reception and kept our guests entertained and guessing while we were getting our photos done.

We hired Shane Black for our wedding and we are so glad that we did. Shane arrived at the beginning of the reception and mingled seamlessly with the guests. What he does is so impressive and was a great talking point for the evening. He brought groups of people together and we found it was an excellent way to help guests interact.

There is only one word for Shane Black and that is INCREDIBLE.😀😀 we booked Shane for our civil ceremony in Sligo the 21st of December 2017 and aren't we just thrilled we did. He was true to his word. He literally left our guests dumbfounded and all were and still are in total awe of his brilliance. So good our friends have booked him for their wedding this year. When I say I cannot recommend Shane enough, that is an understatement. He entertained 130 people at the wedding pre-dinner reception. It was such a great start to the reception, everybody was talking about it for the rest of the day and on the second day. His talent in doing what he does is amazing. I have seen Shane entertain at different functions about 5 or six times now and he still leaves me in awe. Would highly recommend you book if you want a class act for your guests.

Having been to a few weddings myself I really wanted ours to be a bit different and not the cliche boring drinks reception so having seen Shane at events before I knew I had to book him for our wedding.
To be brutally honest my husband wasn?t keen at all...he felt the cost was too much...but I can tell you now he has since ate his words and admits he is worth every single cent!!! I would actually pay double for the reaction he got from our guests. He is 100% money well spent without a doubt.
Our guests are still talking about Shane and trying to figure out how he does it, we actually got phone calls the next day asking about him, people were just baffled. He blew them away. He genuinely is amazing at what he does. He has a lovely manner about him dealing with guests of all ages young and old. So yet another (boring) wedding was on the horizon but this time is was my own. I didn't want my wedding to be yet 'another' wedding and dreading seeing my guests yawning. So off I went on a mission, trawling through weddings online trying to find not only the best entertainment but something that was a little different, a little exciting and a major wow factor. I came across Shane Black, his reviews had me a little excited and he has won best entertainer but the cost was working out the same as my wedding dress!! I took a leap of faith and booked him.

We booked Shane for our drinks reception and it was the best money we have ever spent! Not only is he amazing at what he does but a real ice breaker for people that don't know each other as well. Can't recommend Shane enough this was the second time I have seen him and nothing was the same. Shane was the best decision of our whole wedding. Even from when we had a preview at our house we were blown away. He was at the wedding early and even stayed a bit late to accommodate us. He has some of the most amazing tricks and I truly believe he is magic! My guests are still talking about him to this day. There was a massive crowd around him all day. Every one was so impressed! it was like he was famous as many said "omg cant believe Shane Black is here!" Definitely worth every penny, Cannot say enough good things about this entertainment. Its something different and if you want that added extra to be different Shane Black is the way to go. Absolutely unbelievable. I cannot wait to get my video to look back at peoples reactions again. Do not hesitate in booking this guy! 10/10. Thank you Shane for a whopper of a day!

Shane was the first piece of entertainment we booked for our wedding. We were delighted to have him at our wedding and the tricks and mind games he played at our wedding, we still talk about them. He was extremely professional and works a crowd very well, so well many people thought he was a guest! If you're lucky enough to get him to your wedding, you should!

The first time I seen Shane was at a work night. Myself and all my colleagues thought he was amazing. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Shane also interacts so well with people. I knew then that I wanted to surprise my Sister and I booked Shane for her wedding. Yet again Shane did a superb job. He made sure he got around to every guest at the wedding and gave the Bride and Groom some extra special treats to enjoy. I could see nothing but enjoyment on everyones faces. Also I could see people going up to Shane and would say please come to our table next. Everyone was speaking very greatly of Shane and still are. He went above and beyond our expectations. My Sister and Hubby were delighted. I would highly reccommed Shane to anyone.

Shane was amazing, people of all ages loved him and were talking about him all night. He was not at all cheesy either (which my husband was worried about when he heard 'magician'). Shane didn't do any big performances, he just moved discreetly from small group to small group and got as many guests as possible involved. His tricks were really incredible as well - Derren Brown style! We felt he added so much to the day and was such a talking point.

This was one of the best choices we made for our wedding! Shane Black is just amazing! He dealt easily with our guests of many different cultural backgrounds and went down a treat with all.
If you are looking for someone to entertain, wow or simply freak out (in a good way) your guests, then we'd highly recommend Shane be part of your day.

We have to say that we couldn't recommend Shane enough! Everyone at the wedding was amazed and are still talking about him. His tricks are unbelievable and go way beyond your average card trick.
We also had kids attending our wedding and he went out of his way to entertain them too. Shane also stayed on way beyond the previously agreed time, even after we insisted he was free to go! ????

Hi Shane jeannette and Damien here we want to thank you so much for help making our day so special, we had a small wedding in the mullingar park hotel restaurant 40 people and had our evening in the residents bar where Shane performed, it was just perfect for anyone hesitating on small wedding it's the way to go once you have great entertainment for the evening and Shane just blew us all away, you are a true gentleman and definitely book the photographer along with him, fantastic job, I got some great shots of our guests at the best moments, don't hesitate to book Shane I knew absolutely nothing about him until the day we met, we just took a chance and booked him when we looked up magicians on line read a bit about him and took a chance and I'm very happy we did, your a professional Shane and thank you so much for making our wedding day so special, we had Shane instead of a band and then a Dj after such an amazing day x

Having seen Shane perform at a wedding a few years ago we had no doubt we wanted to book him for our own wedding day and he did not disappoint. All of the guests loved him and were amazed by him! There are no words to describe how imcredible Shane was at our wedding. Everyone loved his performances and are still raving on about it! We first saw Shane black at my cousins wedding 4 years ago and to this day still talk about his performance so we knew we had to have him for our own wedding. and he did not disappoint, our guests were Just blown away with his tricks, it really was mind blowing and it was a great talking point for guests to interact with each other, he will not disappoint, just amazing, we highy recommend shane for any event.

We had Shane Black perform for 3 hours at our drinks reception the day of our wedding and it really enhanced the atmosphere and helped mingle our guests together. I have booked Shane on numerous occasions and would highly recommend him for any event - he really is amazing and so impressive. Everyone was blown away with his performance the day of our wedding and it remained a talking point with many of our guests for hours after he had left. You will be amazed!
I would also highly recommend hiring his photographer who managed to capture our guests at their most natural and are some of my favourite photographs from the day of the wedding.

OMG...WOW!!...
Both myself & Sean could not recommend Shane Black enough, as we were amazed by his preformance & professionalism.
He entertained 100 guests to the highest level and has been the topic of conversation since our wedding.
Our guests were left totally amazed & dumbfounded by his tricks, as we both were too.
The only regret we have is not having him entertain us for longer, or posing for a photo together. ????

We could not recommend Shane Black enough, he was incredible! If you are considering entertainment for your wedding, this is it!! He absolutely amazed our guests, it was all they could talk about! I booked Shane Black for my sisters wedding. Shane was brilliant, I can not recommend him enough, one of the highlights of the wedding. He mingled with all the guest and entertained everyone throughout the reception. All the guest were talking about Shane after the wedding saying how amazing he was. Shane was very professional in all my dealings with him. The bride and groom felt he was a great addition to their day.

Shane was absolutely amazing on our wedding day, everyone was talking about him. He got around to everyone old and Young and had everyone engaged in his act. He had a great sense of humour and made everyone feel relaxed . He did both tricks and mind reading and IT was unbelievable what he was able to do. When we were called in for our meal nobody wanted to go as everyone wanted more time with Shane . He even did a group piece for my whole bridal party that had us all laughing , amazed and intrigued . I'm so happy we booked Shane as he gave our day another special memory , I would recommend him to anyone , you won't be disappointed ????????

We had Shane for our wedding in Kells on 12th August this year. He was very professional and friendly at all times. We would highly recommend him to anyone looking to provide your guests with awe inspiring moments and to keep your guests entertained and talking about it for the night and wondering how he did his amazing magic! Even our guests giving a fake name did not throw him off the scent!!
He turned a deck of cards into a plaque with our names on it right in front of our eyes without touching our hands, just amazing. Price wise it seems expensive at first but take a look at his videos on you tube... And trust me it's the best money you'll ever spend on your wedding entertainment ????

Shane was amazing, all the guests loved Shane, from kids to our friends to older relatives.

We had previously met Shane at another wedding & a corporate event a few years ago! From those moments i knew we would have to have him perform at our wedding!! We asked Shane to perform at our drinks reception - he mingled with the crowd indoors & outdoors & made sure not to miss a table. It was the best thing we done, our guests were amazed! We had Shane booked for our drinks reception after our wedding ceremony, he was on time and so friendly. He worked the room, making sure to perform and amaze all our guests. When we were planning our wedding, we were looking for something different to entertain our guests at the drinks reception. From the minute Shane came into the venue, he mingled through the crowd almost unnoticed in his sharp suit. However it wasn't long before word spread through the crowd about his amazing card tricks and illusions. He was polite and he worked his way through the crowd providing a couple minutes entertainment at each and leaving everyone amazed. Shane didn't leave us out either, coming up to our top table to show us a number of things before he signed off for the night. Since the wedding day people have been raving about what they saw. Though it might seem a bit expensive you will not be disappointed!

Shane was highly professional from the very start. I have been to weddings in the past where that pre reception gap was left with nothing but guests looking at their watches, I booked Shane to fill this gap and guests couldn't of been happier with lots of compliments and positive feedback leaving guests with their jaws dropped. What impressed me most was the letter he had written that morning about two guests at the wedding, how it all came together amazed me! Then myself, Stephen and his niece thinking we were holding a deck of cards and when we lifted our hands it was something else. Just amazing, I would highly recommend Shane for any event and he fit in perfectly at our wedding.

Although it's taken us a ridiculous amount of time to get round to reviewing Shane's performance at our wedding last year (and never normally write reviews at all!) we cannot recommend him highly enough. We took a bit of a punt on hiring him - we had not seen him perform, but had heard rave reviews from others - and we are so glad we did!
Shane was engaging and charming and put everyone at ease. He appealed to absolutely everyone and really tailored the performance to the audience. The performances themselves were absolutely incredibly and we still cannot fathom how any of the tricks were done. The guests were so impressed and have been talking about Shane ever since. The only downside to people being so enthralled and wanting to see more was that he didn't manage to get round all the tables during the meal, so not everyone saw him, but he certainly did his best!
Some guests from England were so impressed they wanted him to come to their son's wedding and would have booked him on the spot, but unsurprisingly he was already booked! Shane also stayed slightly later than agreed so that he could include more guests, and although we would happily have paid extra to have him stay all night unfortunately he had another booking! We can also say that Shane is a really honest guy - we had inadvertently sent him the deposit twice and he let us know and refunded us the extra money immediately when we wouldn't even have noticed we'd done it (wedding brains!).
Overall we are SO glad we booked Shane for our wedding - it made an amazing day even more special and we would definitely urge you to book him for yours!! His magic really is mind-blowing.

We booked Shane after seeing him at a few family weddings. He is absolutely amazing and our guests are still taking about him! He arrived at our wedding after the meal and before the band and provided great entertainment, helping to keep the flow of the day going. Trying to describe shane 's performance is a difficult one because he left us all lost for words... Shane entertained our guests and made sure to get round to as many of them as possible. Everyone who experienced Shane's act at our wedding was blown away. Sceptics and those who tried to outwit him were stunned by what he could do. What made the day even more special was that when our friends and families were being seated for dinner we had a private show from Shane for 15 minutes that included a particular trick just for us.

We had Shane preform at our drinks receptions and through out the meal at our wedding and everyone was amazed by his magic, we had alot of sceptics in our party but by the end Shane had converted them. Everyone kept telling me how amazing he was and what a great idea it was to have him there. I had seen Shane perform at a work event & could not believe my eyes, right then I knew he would be a massive hit at our wedding. We had Shane booked for the couple of hours post ceremony and pre meal. From the minute he arrived, he was entertaining guests, and bringing people together and including as many people as he could. We booked Shane Black for our wedding in July and we can't recommend him more highly to any other couple planning their big day. Shane performed during the cocktail hour before we all sat down to dinner. We got amazing feedback from guests - they were all blown away by the illusions and tricks he performed. It was great fun and people said the cocktail hour just seemed to fly by. Throughout the day guests were coming up to us saying how much they enjoyed the magician! It was a great talking point. I am still hearing from guests about how amazing Shane was - people are still struggling to figure out how he does what he does - it seems magic does actually exist! My hubby and I also get to witness some of what Shane did and to say it was mind blowing was an understatement. Everyone was so well entertained and he was the talking point of the day.

Shane was one of the main highlights of our day. The bridal party went off to get photos done when Shane had started. When we got back, we had a load of our guests coming up to us to say Shane was amazing, a brilliant entertainer. I loved that all our guests mingled together watching him - a real icebreaker for both sides of the family to interact! HIGHLY recommend! Our guests are still talking about Shane! (On a side note, my now husband was very wary of this type of entertainment but as soon as he saw Shane perform, he admitted, for once, that he got it wrong!!)

I can not recommend Shane highly enough!! Shane performed at our wedding in Kilkenny on 02May15. I contacted Shane initially to see if he was available for our pre-dinner drinks reception but he was already booked for another event. Instead he performed in between the courses of the meal and after the meal while the band was setting up. This actually worked out really well as it was a great talking point during the meal and it meant that there wasn't a lull in between the meal and the band as Shane was there to entertain!! Our Wedding party and our guests thoroughly enjoyed Shane's performance. Some of our guests even offered to pay Shane extra to stay on for longer!! Not only did he have everyone captivated, he also has a great way about him and is a true professional. A huge highlight of our Wedding day!

We had seen shane about 2 years go at a friends wedding and when we got engaged we had to make sure shane was part of our big day. We arrived to hotel on our big day and already people were commenting on shane doing tricks. He adds alot of atmosphere to the room. We found it helped people mingle that did not know each other it was a conversation starter for people. We had about 15 mins left before going to room for speeches and meal and shane sat down with myself and susan and had a few tricks for us. The one that blew our mind was were he asked susan to think of a holiday where she was on holidays with somebody that is not in the hotel at the wedding. Susan picked her friend showed me(PERSONS NAME WAS CAT)and then shane ripped up the paper gave to susan and asked were was the holiday susan had said santa ponsa and then asked what year susan said 2009. Shane then out a little envolpe stapled 20 times handed to susan. It was opened by myself and read inside "DONT ASK HOW I KNOW ABOUT YOYR HOLIDAY TO SANTA PONSA WHICH TOOK PLACE IN 2009 I JUST HOPE YOU AND CAT HAD A FANTASTIC TIME THERE" we could not believe it was amazing u really cant put a price on quality was really worth the fee AMAZING MIND BLOWING are just 2 words that can describe shane.

If you are thinking about hiring shane for an event i really wouldn't hesitate! We booked shane for our wedding in february and prior to seeing him a few years back at a family wedding he had so much more new mind boggling tricks to show.. Everyone's still talking about him! We were both really impressed with how he made sure we both got our value for money before he left by showing myself and paul some new material!! ???? definitely money well spent!!!

I booked Shane to perform at my wedding (pre-dinner time) having seen him at a work event previously. I wanted something different and to entertain people before the dinner reception. The feedback I got from the guests was that Shane was the best part of the wedding!!) He had everyone?s attention, so much so they didn't want to go for their dinner! He entertained the entire crowd including the children, taking time to perform to individuals as well as the small groups. It was possibly the best part of the day and one no one will ever forget. The next day and the few weeks after the wedding I got so many calls and texts asking me for his details, that speaks for itself. Great entertainer, lovely person and I could not recommend him enough to people for their weddings or other events.

We were both blown away by Shane on the day of our wedding. His professionalism was second to none and everyone we've met since our wedding has mentioned Shane to us. We would recommend him very highly - definitely a must for your wedding day. Our only regret is that we only had him for the drinks reception and not for during the meal, although it has meant that people were left in suspense. A very talented guy and we are so grateful to have had him there on our special day!

I booked Shane for our wedding last October and as it was last minute I didn't hold out much hope. However as it was a Sunday I was in luck and along he came to demonstrate his amazing skills to the wedding guests at the drinks reception. This is an excellent time to have Shane there as everyone is relaxed and it is the perfect ice breaker for families and friends. It is something different from the norm and people are still talking about it. The tricks were amazing ... It definitely added a new dimension to our wedding and made the day in fact! Shane was amazing . We got so many calls after the wedding saying he was amazing. We were so trilled that he could be a part of our big day . I'd highly recommend him for everybody's wedding . His magic was amazing. I still can't get over some of the stuff he did totally jaw dropping .

I had shane black for our wedding last September and he was just amazing. My friend had him the previous year and I said I had to get him myself. He kept all the guests occupied while photos were been taking, I didnt want them to get bored and he did a great job. He was worth every penny and all the guests couldnt stop talking about him. They were all amazed at his talent and it was something a little different to have at our wedding. I would highly recommend him for any event.

We booked Shane based on reviews alone and it's easy to see why he has won awards! We had a small wedding (32) we wanted something different to entertain our guests after our meal, and before the DJ started. Shane was a pleasure to deal with and his performance was amazing!! Everyone young and old thoroughly enjoyed it and it is still often talked about now! We'd have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him for any function.

If you are wondering what entertainment would be best during your drinks reception then forget about music (that is what your band/DJ are for) and choose Shane Black. All our guests were blown away and are still talking about him. As illusionists/magician's go, Shane is the best we have ever seen. On top of this he is extremely professional, very approachable and delivers an astounding array of tricks/illusions. It is also a great ice breaker and talking point for the dinner table conversation. We can't recommend him enough.

We had seen Shane perform at my brother's wedding and were absolutely blown away so we immediately booked him for our wedding the following year! He added such a fun element to our day and was a huge hit with our guests. Having him there during the drinks reception was great entertainment and a real talking point and so many of our guests came up to us on the day telling us how blown away they were by his tricks. Shane is very friendly and personable and I would highly recommend him for your big day or special event.

Shane was a great highlight to our wedding day at the pre meal drinks reception. He blew people's minds with his repertoire. Shane is also a very easy going, easy to get on with guy, who shows up on time and does what he says he will. We also got photos from someone working with Shane and they captured our guests reactions brilliantly. We have since seen other magician type acts at subsequent weddings and they did not compare. Would recommend to anyone.

Finding words to explain how incredible his performance was is proving to be difficult. They say a picture paints a thousand words; well I can still vividly picture the look of amazement on our guest?s faces and also hear the shouts and gasps of disbelief as he moved through the room performing a huge variety of magic and mind reading
.
We opted for the 4hr performance; this allowed Shane time with our guests at the drinks reception prior to the meal, and then further time during and after the meal. We had 210 guests in total, and amazingly everyone got to witness his talent. During the meal you can also request particular tables for time to be focused on such as those of close family/friends.
Shane is an absolute gentleman, friendly, funny and very professional. An example which confirms all was when one of our guests embarrassingly mistook him for a hotel manager and asked him for some gravy! His reply was ?leave it with me?, and then discreetly passed the message onto the hotel staff. Such was the quality of his magic I was nearly expecting him to conjure up a boat of gravy from somewhere!
Throughout the evening each and every guest we were speaking to commented on how much they enjoyed the magic and how they had never seen anything like it. Even at the end of the night and the days after, our guests were still raving about it.
I would like to make a point of emphasizing how high level Shane?s magic and mentalist work are. His work is multiples classes above other magicians I have seen at functions. The things he can do simply blow your mind, leave you awestruck, questioning reality and wondering how is that even possible? I highly doubt there is anyone else out there that even comes close to his level.
My final advice would be, put less emphasis on selfie mirrors, sweet carts, doughnut walls etc. Invest your money in booking a performance from Shane, I assure you it will be the best decision you make. It will make your wedding day stand apart from all others and also make it a day you and your guests will never forget.
