Congratulations on your engagement! You have very exciting times ahead, and I hope your wedding day is everything you ever dreamed it would be! When you choose an independent celebrant, you choose to have your ceremony, your way.
I am a formally trained independent celebrant, with a background in nursing and public speaking. I aim to quickly put couples at ease, and encourage them to open their imagination to all the possibilities for a wonderful celebration!
The best part of my job is creating a ceremony that is centred around the couple and their love story. Knowing that every element was considered to reflect in some way the journey they have travelled to arrive at their wedding day, be that six months or 26 years!
I am based in Dublin and work countrywide in any location seven days a week.

John and I live in Canada, but decided we wanted to do an intimate elopement in Ireland with just our immediate family. It can be challenging to locate quality vendors for a wedding being in another country and we are so glad that we found Simone. From initial contact, the process went very smoothly (in terms of booking, communication, discussing details for the day). But beyond that, Simone really took the time to get to know John and I on a personal level to ensure that our wedding ceremony was individualized. We submitted typed informational interviews, had video calls, phone calls, etc. which really allowed Simone to learn about us and what our goals were for the ceremony. The ceremony itself was even more special than I could have imagined. Simone really took the information that we shared with her and created a beautiful ceremony - it really felt like she had known us for years! She really went above and beyond our expectations and I would, without hesitation, recommend her to anyone.

The Civil Celebrant, Simone. What more can I say than perfection. Simone is an absolute perfect fit for this role in life. From the carefully crafted ceremony, managing the awkward family needs of our ?complex? families too simply adding that personal and emotion evoking touch of class, Witt and love to our day. Simone took the crowd and set them up for a fun and memorable day in the most personal way. It almost felt like a member of our family was leaving when she bid us a happy future an was on her way.
Highly recommended and if in the unlikely circumstances we get married a third time (Canadian and Irish weddings were had) we would 110% hire Simone again.

Simone is truly incredible at what she does- we couldn't imagine what our special day would have been like without her. She really set the tone for our wedding day, creating the most beautiful, thoughtful and relaxed ceremony, from which the rest of the day flowed. Simone took the time to research our story through calls prior to the big day, and was exceptionally empathetic and sensitive around any personal considerations we had. She wove our story together throughout the ceremony and it felt very personal. Simone also gave us great advice around the various elements of the ceremony, and helped us to personalise them to make them feel like ?us.? Many of our guests said that it was one of the nicest ceremonies they had ever witnessed, and that it felt so relaxed and personal, with the handfasting element being a highlight. Simone's kindness, thoughtfulness and exceptional skill at what she does helped to create the most memorable and brilliant day for us. If you are considering booking Simone, we couldn't recommend her more, she is exceptional. Thank you, Simone.

Simone made our Ceremony so special and intimate. Simone really went over and above for us and made it her business to get to know James and Me and our unique story which really added the personal touch on the day. We couldn't recommend Simone more highly. Throughout the process, Simone was extremely focused on getting to know us as a couple and to ensure the day was as special as possible. We wanted to incorporate different aspects into our wedding to reflect our personalities and experiences, which was very much encouraged by Simone.
A lot of the guests had never attended a civil ceremony before and were very complimentary of Simone's style and presence on the day. The overall feedback was how personal and special Simone made the ceremony.

Absolutely phenomenal from start to finish! From the second we started communication with Simone, we knew our ceremony was in good hands. All of our guests commented upon how beautiful and perfectly us the ceremony was and there were more than a few tears shed from our guests! She managed to capture us as a couple perfectly and somehow seemed to know exactly what we were looking for. Even from the initial phone call, we could tell how supportive and passionate Simone was and this continued right up until the wedding, even just after it! Simone was such an integral part to what made our day do magical and we cannot thank her enough. We would highly recommend!

Simone was beyond amazing. We had no idea what to expect, and we got so much more. Simone has a true gift for writing and delivering a couple's story. We really wanted our story to be told, and she did just that. The guests loved the ceremony. Most of them said they had never experienced such a lovely ceremony before. Simone is amazing! My husband and I wanted to renew our 30 year wedding vows in Ireland along with our two grown children as our witnesses. I contacted others but Simone listen to what I wanted. From the start she is full of energy, consideration, and full of ideas and suggestions to make OUR day the most special and memorable!
I highly recommend her to perform any ceremony. From my experience I know she will ensure it is the most amazing for you??

Simone officiated our wedding on May 30th, 2017 in Trudder Lodge.
She delivered the most wonderful, personal ceremony for us on the day. Everyone raved about her and the ceremony. It was so unexpected for most people that I think they were genuinely entertained. The main comment was how personal and romantic the entire thing was.
My partner and I said from the start that she was our star supplier for the day. We knew once we met Simone that she was the perfect addition to our day. She was full of ideas, latched on to nuggets of our experience and personalities to really make the ceremony special. She guided us through it with such grace and determination that I honestly cannot imagine doing the day without her.
The one thing I really wanted to make sure we felt the ceremony, took it slowly and enjoyed it. I can honestly say that we did just that and the ceremony remains my favorite part of the day.

We all know that planning a wedding can be a mammoth task but from the moment we met with Simone we knew things we're going to be a lot smoother . Her warm caring approach put us ease straight away and she really listened and guided us through creating a ceremony that was a true reflection of us as a couple .

Simone came highly recommend by a friend and from the moment we spoke I knew we had the right person for our big day. Professional and helpful beyond belief nothing was a problem and our ceremony was exactly that our very personal and beautiful ceremony skilfully coordinated and guided by Simone.
