Hi I'm Claire wicklow based wedding hair specialist for over 25 years now .Every bride I meet is unique in their own way.
I like to start my process at the beginning when we meet for your trial appointment . A trial appointment sets the bar
for your wedding morning and your wedding hair choice . We sit and chat through your theme , your dress, your bridal tribe and whos, who. Then after your 90 minute appointment ,we then set a schedule that suits your plan .
My service is to create a calm and fun morning ,everyone will know what to do with their hair before I arrive and what time they need to be ready. Hair normally works side by side makeup during wedding preparation ,being part of your team is important to me and working with your vendors is important , that's part of me being professional.
My big thing is last minute checks, I always finish hair an hour before ceremony time but I NEVER leave until I have checked everything .Before you walk out the door to say your " I do " , especially if you,re having a veil it must be perfect

If you were to contact any of my bridal clients they will all tell you I'm 100% professional and ready for anything , I have sewn dresses on brides and ran to the shops last minute for an emergency flower girl dress !!! Yes That's true.
I love working with all types of weddings for small local weddings to international brides or Grooms families either. MR & MR or MRS and MRS ..... I am dedicated to your wedding .

I honestly cannot say enough great things about Claire. She is one of the nicest persons I have ever met. A month before my wedding, my father unexpectedly passed away. As you can assume, my life turned completely upside down. Right before that happened, I was in the process of talking with Claire and trying to get her booked for my wedding. I was an American bride planning my Ireland wedding from afar. So I hadn't even met Claire and when I told her what had happened she showed me the most genuine care and kindness I have ever received from someone who owed me nothing. She told me to focus on my family right now and that she would be there for me on the wedding day just based on trust. Not only did she help me in that way, but she also found my makeup artist for me who was absolutely amazing, she gave us tips on planning bits of our trip and honeymoon and saved us from staying in an unsafe area of Dublin, the advice and care she showed me, a complete stranger, was just beautiful. She even drove to my hotel in Dublin the day I arrived in the country to do a hair trial for me just four days before my wedding day. Not only is she a beautiful hearted person, but she is very very talented at what she does! My hair looked exactly how I wanted it to. She even cut my hair the morning of my wedding (which I was more than okay with) so that we had the perfect look and it was one of the best haircuts I've gotten! She really really cares not only about her work, but for the person she is taking care of. She truly wants you to be happy and for your day to be nothing but bliss. I am blessed to have had Claire as a part of my day and would happily call her my friend from here on out! Believe me, book Claire and do not hesitate. You will not be disappointed! Claire is just the utmost professional. Multi-talented. She was so easy to get along with and really suited our chilled out vibe. She made everyone feel at ease. We all LOVED our hair. She incorporated flowers from the bouquets/ corsages into peoples hair.. it was all just stunning. Honestly couldn't recommend her enough. She gave me so many helpful tips and tricks - even outside of the hair department!!

Claire is an absolute gem, she is so super talented and so relaxed, she is just what you need for your wedding morning. From the start, Claire was so fantastic, easy to deal with and quick to respond to any queries I had. She is so talented and from meeting her at the trial I just knew we were in safe hands. Everyone commented on how fabulous my hair was, and how it lasted until the wee small hours. Claire also styled my bridesmaids and my mam who all have different hair types and styles fantastically to suit them even on first meeting them. She kept everyone calm and relaxed on the wedding morning. There is nothing that Claire doesn't do, from buttoning up dresses to putting in veils, to safely putting you in the car ....she is fantastic. Thank you so much Claire.

Claire is an absolute artist when it comes to hair! Was so happy to be able to book her after she did my sisters wedding a few years ago and knew I'd be in good hands. I knew what I roughly wanted for my hair but Claire took it to the next level and it was a million times better than what I could ever imagine. Claire was amazing on our wedding day. She gave great advice during my trial and in the run up to the wedding. She couldn't do enough for me and co-ordinated so well with the make-up artist I?d booked. She did a fantastic job on everyone's hair (5 in total), we were all getting compliments all day. She even thought of taking flowers from our garden for the bridesmaids? hair which matched to the dresses and gave us so many little tips on the morning when we were running around trying to get ready. I?d highly recommend booking Claire.

Claire was a dream to deal with, even with Covid set backs, she worked with our rescheduled dates (yes multiple) and was a always so professional and great to deal with..When she came to my house to do trial she I knew I made the right choice, she was full of knowledge and understood the look I was hoping to achieve, taking notes of any thing we both felt was needed on the day and even giving me a timeline for the morning to share with the bridal party. This was much needed as it gave the Bridesmaids times to come to the house and not have everyone arriving all at once.
On the day itself she was a the calming presence we needed, on hand to help where ever needed, felt bad we didn't all get dressed in the house so she could see the end results from all the work. The Bridesmaids all loved their hair and my hair was exactly as I wanted and Claire designed and created my hair piece with flowers I had provided.

Claire did a great job preparing me, my mum and my three bridesmaids for my wedding reception last week. From start to finish, she was a pleasure to work with. She communicated regularly with me in the run up to the wedding to make sure we all knew what to expect on the day, and she was so accommodating when we had to make changes due to covid-19. Not only did she style everyone's hair beautifully, she also kept the atmosphere fun and relaxed for the whole morning. She also put a lot of effort into making sure each of the three bridesmaids had a hairstyle that suited their personality and preferences - as a result, everyone felt comfortable and happy on the day. I would highly recommend her!

Where to begin.... Claire is an absolute lady, she is so kind and professional. She brought such calm to my wedding morning. She is great fun aswell and full of the chats making everyone feel at ease. Her talent with hair is incredible how she managed to transform myself and my wedding party was amazing. Claire is the most amazing person to have around on the morning of your wedding. Not only did she make my hair look fab and exactly how I wanted, she was so relaxed, chatty and helpful. Claire, I just wanted to say thank you so much for all your help on the morning of my wedding. You made it very relaxing for us all. All my family were singing your praises. Everyone loved their hair and the little ones too and everyone loved mine! And we really appreciated your help of helping me with the veil and getting into the car and all of that! Also appreciated the calls and trial that we did before, as soon as we spoke I knew I would be in safe hands.

Claire was amazing from start to finish on my wedding day, was absolutely over the moon with the results for myself and of course the bridesmaids. She went above and beyond by even adding extras from her own bag for bridesmaids hairs, she made everyone feel at ease, would highly recommend claire.

I was extremely happy with Claire's professional hair service. Claire did an amazing job on my hair and it stayed in place all day. Claire was amazing from start to finish. Both my hair and my wedding party's hair was fantastic. We all loved it. Claire was very friendly and put everyone at ease on the wedding morning. What can I say about Claire. From the moment I first spoke to her I knew that I was on to a winner. My original stylist that I had booked 2 years in advance pulled out with 4 months to go. I happened across Wedding Hair Creations by complete accident! It was such a blessing. Claire was absolutely wonderful to work with for our wedding! We had a destination wedding in Ireland, so I did not have a hair trial and wasn't entirely sure of the style I wanted. I showed her a few pictures that I thought looked nice, but I loved my hair style even more than the photos! She was also very professional and showed up right on time, if not a bit early, to set up and make sure we had plenty of time. With the extra time, we were able to fit in a first look before the ceremony, which I'm so thankful for! Claire was such a joy to be around while we were getting ready. She played such a big part in our wedding day, and I can't say enough about how grateful I am that she was there. Thank you, Claire!!

I couldn't recommend Claire enough. She is so talented. She looked after myself and my bridal party and family and a friend for our wedding on the 17th. All our hair look out of this world and stayed in place all night. She even ran to the shop the morning of the wedding as I had forgotten the bun which took so much pressure off. She is so friendly and makes you feel at ease and such an enjoyable experience. When doing the trials she listened to want you wanted and gave such brilliant ideas and advise on how to care for your hair coming up to the big day. She had so much patience going through different options and is a perfectionist ensuring everyone looked wonderful. I couldn't recommend Claire and hair creations more. She went above and beyond taking videos of the day and picture and staying with me until I walked into the ceremony and I will be forever grateful to her for looking after me when It all hit me before the ceremony. Claire was just absolutely amazing, she did a fantastic job on all our hair styles. She really knows her stuff and is very calm and keeps things rolling on the morning. She not only did an amazing job on my hair but she really looked after me on the morning of the wedding and helped me with my dress and anything that cropped up on the morning, as it always does!
She stayed with me and got me into the wedding car to make sure everything was ok before I got to the church. Claire is a lovely person and you can tell that she really loves what she does and that also shows in her fab work.

Claire is absolutely AMAZING! Not only did she do my hair perfectly as the bride but also did an amazing job on my sister, mother and especially my sister with frizzy hair. We have never looked or felt so good. Claire has an amazingly calming effect and her years of experience really show. She went above and beyond-including fixing corsages and taking pictures for us. Such a lovely genuine person. Highly recommend!

Amazing stylist! Claire is such a perfectionist, she is so professional and good fun too! Kept everyone at ease with her chit chat all morning and stayed until I had left the house! I could not fault her in anyway in the run up the wedding day. Always so helpful!

I would highly recommend Claire. She went above and beyond on our wedding day. She made me feel so relaxed and made the morning an absolute pleasure. From little things to make sure I was comfortable to chasing down my veil as it flew off in the wind. I couldn't imagine the day without her. Thanks so much Claire. Myself, Laura and Gemma (my Bridesmaids) couldn't speak more highly of you, not to mention we were all thrilled with our hairstyles which stood the test of time for the day and also looked great brushed out the next day.

I could not recommend Claire of Wedding hair Creations highly enough. Claire will really listen to your requirements and she is great for making suggestions to suit the overall look for your wedding day. She is one of the most creative and talented people I know. What she can do with hair is just amazing and her up styles leave you feeling totally fab! Claire is always willing to go that extra mil for her clients. In fact she actually offered and drove us to our wedding as the arranged car did not show up for the appointed time!!

Claire was fantastic throughout the wedding process, from the time I booked her, providing me with advice and ideas. I decided for my hen I would get my hair trial done and also my bridesmaids at the same time. Claire came out to my house and we had such a good day full of laughs and great hairstyles! Claire provided me with a one to one service, even colouring my hair in the months coming up to the wedding. On the day she was as professional as ever and stepped in to look after things that were not even her responsibility, to reduce any stress on me! I loved my hair and couldn't have asked for more! I would highly recommend her to any upcoming brides.

Claire did my hair,i met her at a wedding fair not thinking that it was possible to have an up style as my hair wasn't long at all she told me that it wasn't impossible to have the style I wanted that she could do it.she came to my house to do a trial,she listened to what I wanted and on the first go got the hairstyle I wanted,.my hair wasn't long and I didn't want extensions but wow when she put my hair up I was amazed,she was a calming person to have around on the morning of my wedding .she helped me to pick some pins to put in my hair,i couldn't recommend her enough,so professional she so knows her job.if your getting married ring her you won't be sorry.

I cannot recommend Claire highly enough.I had a hair trial with her 2 weeks before my wedding and she did exactly what i wanted.On the day she makes it fun and relaxing and everybody commented how nice my hair was. Not only is she a great hair stylist but a lovely person.Thanks Claire

Claire did a fabulous job and I was thrilled with my hair and my bridesmaid's hairstyles. So many people at the wedding commented on how lovely my hair was. Claire was a pleasure to have around on the day and a real calming influence! Nothing was too much trouble for her. I've already recommended her to many of my friends.

Claire was fantastic from start to finish, from my first enquiry with her she was extremely helpful and flexible. When it came to the trial she listened to what the bridesmaids and I wanted but also gave us her opinion and brilliant advice. On the day itself she couldn't have been more professional, helpful, calming, relaxing, punctual everything you need on the morning of your wedding. Between the madness of the dogs, kids, family coming and going Claire was an absolute star.

Well I cannot say enough about this lovely lady. Claire was absolutely lovely to deal with and so helpful. She is so talented and brilliant at her job and I couldn't recommend her enough. Her expertise & style is amazing & she can do any style you ask of her. She is not only your hairdresser on the morning of your big day as she becomes your friend & helps to get you through the morning without any hiccups. I live in the UK but we got married in Ireland. I was so worried about my hair as I didn't have time for a trial before the wedding day but I shouldn't have worried at all!
Claire was fantastic!
She worked out exactly what I was looking for just by looking at a couple of pictures and she helped my Bridesmaid choose how to have her hair. She even thought of things to make the morning go so much smoother. While we were waiting for my curls to set she organised ice for our champagne, made teas and coffees, kept my nephew entertained while his Mum did my make up and helped me do up my dress while my Bridesmaid got ready.
She was just amazing from start to finish. I can't recommend her highly enough.

Claire was absolutely amazing. She went over and beyond for our wedding. We had a destination wedding so being in Ohio was difficult at times when planning our wedding Claire helped in every way possible in making our wedding day magical. She goes over the top for her clients. I consider her a friend after everything she did for us. She was such a huge part of our special day. I couldn't of asked for a better person to have done my hair, found my make-up artists, help us find an amazing women who made our wedding cake, help us deal with getting a boot on our car, help us try and find jeweler, sing at our wedding, make me feel absolutely beautiful. Claire didnt have to do any of that but she did. We are so incredibly grateful for her and her talent.

My Friend said " you must have this Hairstylist shes great!"
So I called her straight away as I.was worried about my hair for my wedding and had a bad experience already
Claire put me at ease ,she so calming.
She listened knew exactly what i wanted.My Bridesmaids loved her and My Mum looked fab!

Claire was amazing on the day of the wedding, from first thing in the morning, looking after every one of us (bride, bridesmaids & my mum) right up to going in the door of the church. We were all 100% delighted with our hair and it stayed in place all day. Can't recommend her highly enough for anyone's big day.

Claire was absolutely fantastic on the day. I had an absolute nightmare trying to find someone who could do my hair the way I wanted it (I've poker straight hair and wanted it curled ...to last the day!!)
She was incredibly relaxing for me and so professional. She was excellent at time keeping and setting a plan for the day so that nothing was rushed. Everyone was so delighted with their hair and my hair lasted the whole day, and was even curly the next day which is amazing.
I would recommend her 100% without hesitation - she's brilliant!!!

I booked Claire (wedding Hair Creations) for my sons wedding in April, she done a great job, it was a very relaxing experience as she also had the make-up artist with her so everyone enjoyed the experience. Everyone's hair and make-up was done from Grandmother, Mother of the Groom, Sisters And friend. We were all very happy and would definitely recommend her to others.

Clare from Wedding hair Creations was just brilliant on my wedding day. She was very relaxed and personable making the morning of my wedding very relaxed. With every e-mail I sent her she reponded very quickly. I could not fault her at all in her approach and would recommend her to anyone.

Claire Finnegan was absolutely amazing. Couldn't of been more helpful not only with the hair but little hints and tips for all the guys including how to attach the flowers. She made everyone feel so settled including the consultation before hand. All styles lasted the whole day and looked amazing. Will definitely be in contact for future family weddings.

I couldn't ask for a better person then Claire. She was fantastic from the minute I called her nothing was to much trouble you name it she had a solution even details for a dress maker.
Claire was so helpful she doesn't force any ideas on you from my trial to the wedding day & if like my bridesmaids and Mum it was your first time to have your hair done she has great suggestions and she really listens to what you want, I wanted my hair in a half up style & natural.
On the day Claire fitted into the morning like she was one of the girls, the calming influence of the group. Making each of us feel a million euro.

Claire was fantastic on the lead up to, and on the wedding day. She is the calmest person I know and was very flexible in getting peoples hair done around all of the other activities. Her advice on shampoo and sending back and forth some example pics of hairdos for the bridal party meant that nothing was left to chance on the day. Claire had thought of everything and had even brought some additional hair items in case needed. She was not at all phased by the children running around and was so happy and pleasant the whole time making the hair preparations fun ? there are some great photos of the bridesmaids under mobile dryers. As the bride I was stunned by how Claire was able to know exactly what way I wanted my hair even though she is not my regular hairdresser. Definitely a mind reader. Claire went over and above the call of duty on our big day when I discovered that the smallest flower girl had the wrong dress and we could not locate the one she should have. Claire saved the day by popping out to a local shop (in the lashing rain!) and buying a day and evening outfit that worked perfectly with the rest of the bridal party. Not only a star bridal hairdresser but brings that something extra in terms of client service and satisfaction. Thank you Claire :)

Claire Finegan did such a fabulous job for myself and my sister. The trial was super too where she created a selection of beautiful styles for us that really suited. She was so kind on the day - bringing strawberries and little pressies for my two boys.
On the day Claire was so calming and made me look and feel a million dollars! We also had such great fun! My hair never looked so beautiful. I really wanted a natural look and to keep my hair down. Here creation was wonderful and stayed in all weekend! I did not want to wash it all away!

I met Claire 7 months before my date and started getting my colour done with her in the run up to the wedding. Over those sessions Claire helped me to work out a hair plan and style for the day with complete professionalism.
But Claire is not just a hair stylist. She became my confidante, in figuring out everything from bridesmaids gifts to tanning options.
Claire's experience in weddings really showed on the day. She came so prepared with her bag of tricks and has plenty of tips to share with us that made things run very smoothly. She made us all feel so comfortable and we were all so happy with our hair. We had beautiful bouncy curls that lasted all night long.
I would absolutely recommend Claire's services for any bride to be ❤️
