We cannot speak highly enough of this venue and Denise especially. Everything was so smoothly ran and so perfect from the reception arrival all the way to Denise following up with us a week later. Everything was perfect and it made our day so special.

Everything from start to finish was amazing! The food was delicious and the service was incredible, The service was fast and the staff were so friendly. Denise was fantastic to deal with, such a lovely person!

We recently had our reception in the Great National Hotel Ballina. From day one meeting Denise we knew this was the perfect venue. She was a pleasure to deal with and was always available to answer any queries we had. Everything was perfect from the decor of the function room to the service on the day. We are absolutely delighted with how well it all went and would like to thank Denise and all the staff for making it possible.

The main reason why we chose The Great National Hotel Ballina for our wedding was their wedding coordinator Denise Munnelly. Her positive energy and 'can-do' attitude persuaded us that she will do impossible to make our day special and unforgettable.She is very friendly, professional and extremely helpful. She is an excellent organizer and manages crisis situation with ease and calm. We couldn't ask for better coordinator. Everything went really well, the decoration of civil ceremony room and wedding reception room was outstanding. Dinner was fantastic, we had big portions of food and all the food was delicious.The hotel staff was very friendly and professional and hotel itself including rooms was very clean. We liked outside of town location and amount of hotel parking places available for guests. If we would do it again - we would definitely choose this hotel again.

We had our wedding reception in the Great National Hotel Ballina on Saturday 8th September and it was amazing from start to finish. We actually can't fault the hotel in anyway. The food was top class and each and every staff member went out of their way to ensure we had the best day of our lives. We have to mention especially Denise the wedding coordinator who is fantastic at her job and was a pleasure to deal with from our very first meeting. She accommodated all of our requests big and small and made the day so enjoyable. Thank you Denise Andrew and all the staff the hotel should be very proud of you all xx Gillian and Paul Boggins xx

Myself and my husband would like to thank Denise and all the amazing staff of the great national hotel for making our wedding on 18/08/18 so perfect . They all went over and above to make sure that our special day ran Smoothly . We had 278 guests and each and every one of them had a fantastic day are raving about it . We had our Wedding Reception and our Afters at The Great National Hotel in Ballina, Mayo.
Beautiful venue, excellent food. Staff were efficient and friendly. Our guests are still talking about it.
Denise, the wedding co-ordinator was great, very approachable and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. I'd recommend this hotel as a wedding venue.

We got married on the 8th of June and everyone at the Great National was so fantastic and helpful with our big day, everything went smoothly and Denise was so fantastic with everything up to the wedding planning and on the day she made us feel so at ease and relaxed. There was nothing she couldnt help us with and I cant recommend her and the hotel enough. Thanks again guys :)

Absolutely excellent - Denise was a dream to deal with - last minute changes and requests were accommodated with pleasure. We would happily do it all again. Our guests are still talking about it - claimed it was one of the best weddings ever!

Hi, we got married last year and chose Great National Hotel for our venue as we met at a wedding in the hotel a few years earlier. We couldn't have picked a better hotel. From the moment we put down the deposit until the Sunday after the wedding, we received excellent service from everyone in the hotel especially Denise. Denise their wedding coordinator is brilliant at her job and was always on the end of the phone if we had any questions. Thank you Great National Hotel Ballina.

I had my wedding reception here last Oct and would highly recommend the Great National Ballina if you are looking for wedding venue. Wedding planner Denise is so friendly, approachable and accomadating as well as staff on the day were brilliant! Food was fab and all my requests and adjustments to tasting menu were noted. Function room and hallways have recently been renovated as well and look fab!They offer a great package compared to other hotels in the area and I found them to be very flexible!

I can not praise the staff at Hotel Ballina highly enough. Our wedding day was everything we wanted and more. From the preparations and planning to the excellent service, fantastic food and atmosphere on the day, everything was top notch. They are also very good value for money and were very flexible with their packages. Absolute pleasure to deal with them!
