We are so glad we chose to have our wedding in Hotel Kilkenny. From the very start, both Eimear & Doreen were on the ball and very professional, easily contactable and obliging.They were so quick to respond to any messages from us, we really felt so well taken care of throughout the process. The hotel is beautiful, and all our guests were extremely complimentary about the hotel, the standard of service, and the food. We had a number of guests with dietary requirements and they all had nothing but praise for the meal. I would recommend Hotel Kilkenny in a heartbeat to anyone thinking of having their wedding here, you really won't regret it!

Hotel Kilkenny Eimear/Doreen and all their staff couldn't of been more helpful and accommodating throughout our whole wedding. The food and service was exceptional, nothing was ever a problem. We would highly recommend Hotel Kilkenny.

We were blown away by hotel kilkenny! The hotel and wedding coordinators made our planning so easy. Nothing was too much and anything we asked we got answers within the day almost every time. The day of our wedding was second to none, we had a civil ceremony in the hotel. Everything was beyond our expectations and our guests praised the hotel and the food and above all the staff. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend hotel kilkenny to any couple considering getting married there.

Extremely reasonable prices without any compromise on quality. Could not recommend hotel Kilkenny enough, food was gorgeous, setting was gorgeous and dealing with the wedding team was a Dream. Anything we wanted was never an issue. Don't even think about it, just book.

We had the most amazing day in Hotel Kilkenny. Joanne and her team were so helpful from start to finish, under the most stressful of circumstances (we married in August 2021 so Covid was a factor)! We were very happy with our wedding package and our guests raved about the food. We also really enjoyed our stay in Monart afterwards, courtesy of the Griffith Group. I would highly recommend this venue!

Brian and I had our wedding day on Saturday 14th September in Hotel Kilkenny and we both just wanted to extend our gratitude to all the staff and their hard work on the day. To all at hotel kilkenny - from the front desk to the room service and all in between- we can not thank you enough. From very early on we knew we had picked the right location and venue- any time we visited this beautiful hotel we were always greeted with a warm smile and friendly face. Throughout the whole weekend of the wedding, everything went so smoothly and so well- down from the service, the food, the atmosphere- it was just amazing and that is down to you guys at the Hotel- We want to especially thank Joanne, David, Ross, June and John (Front desk) for all you did on the day and throughout the weekend. All guests commented on how beautiful the hotel was, how the staff were so friendly and helpful and the food was just perfect. Special thanks to all in the kitchen and the chefs - you really out done yourselves - all guests were raving about the food- how quick it was dished out, thanks to the servers, how tasty it was and how much choice we had, thanks to the chefs! One guest who was very badly coeliac - said to us that he never in his life was a wedding or event that had so much choice. Another guest who had two young kids commented on how the server staff were so helpful and so good in helping her with the kids at the meal. All of this made us feel so looked after and listened to so we just want to extend our thanks to you all.
We also want to thank you for the Monart Spa stay- we went on the Wednesday afterwards and by god did we need it. It was just out of this world - it was absolutely beautiful !!

Hotel Kilkenny are amazing. The whole wedding team cannot do enough for you. The literally made every wish we had come through and this made our day the most amazing magical time.

I would 100% recommend hotel Kilkenny to any couple looking to book for their wedding. Hotel was fab staff were friendly and would bend over backwards to help. Loved every minute of our day.

I can't put into words how special Hotel Kilkenny and team has become to myself and my husband.
We had been on the hunt for a wedding venue for about a year, with every weekend spent viewing hotels, or at wedding fairs.
In February 2015 we were attending a wedding at the hotel, as soon as we walked into the lobby my fiance looked at me, grinned, and said "I think I can go back to the horse racing and golf with the rest of my weekends". It had the contempory feel and look that we sought, lots of light and quirky well placed seats and furnishings. The large function area up stairs did not dissapoint with the contempory style flowing right through, to the left of the room was a glass wall with a view over the city like a painting. The meal again could not be faulted, then we got to the bedroom, at this point HTB is waiting for me to find fault, I had to dissapoint him as the room was exactly to my taste.
The following day we had a chat with management, talked about what we were looking for, mentioning the only thing missing from my check list was a garden to get married in, off I was taken to the down stairs function room, with a panoramic wall into a stunning modern garden.
I was sold.
The staff were amazing and featured in at least 5 minutes of my husbands speach on our big day!!! noting I requested was an issue. Eimear, Ciaran, Mary and Trevor were always at hand when needed. The morning of our wedding after all the planning to have the cermony in the garden, the heavens opened, I called Eimear from the wedding car, by the time I arrived, the wedding set up had been moved inside looking out the panoranic windows into the garden with a big fairy light back drop parting the room behind us. tea lights, aisle runners, chairs, tables, candles and flowers were all moved swiftly to what made a beautiful setting.
By the time the cermony had finished, the rain had retreated and we got to use the garden for photos. The day ran very smoothly, to fast if anything .I pride myself and my career on my customer service and find it hard to meet like minded people. Eimear, Trevor and team were the best staff I have ever dealth with and could not but highly recommend the Hotel. The fact that some of our guests have since returned to book their own weddings speaks volumes.
Our guests were all prasing the Hotel and still talking about what a great time was had.

Our wedding planner in Hotel Kilkenny was Mary Gray and she was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble, she made us feel so at ease and every little detail was noted and looked after. We left each meeting feeling totally relaxed and sure that our wedding day reception would be perfect and it really was. From start to finish, from the little touches of making sure that we were greeted with champagne at our pre dinner reception at which the food was amazing, our luggage whisked away to the bridal suite, making sure that the couple of times we left our table during dinner to chat with our guests, our meal was replaced with a fresh dish without us even noticing until later! Our wedding venue room was exactly as we had hoped, with all our little details of candles and lights and flowers exactly as we asked for, including our cake with the photos of our parents.
Breakfast next morning and each morning after was the same, the manager Trevor couldn't do enough for us and our guests,with champagne and amazing service, we didn't have to ask twice for anything. my family stayed in the hotel for 3 days and were so well looked after- they had nothing but praise for all of the staff including wait and bar staff throughout our stay.
I would really recommend Hotel Kilkenny as a wedding venue to anyone!!
