We had our reception at The Belfry on the 10th October 2009, and have to say we'd whole-heartedly recommend it as a venue for anyone who'd like something that stands out from the standard hotel wedding. Apart from being a beautiful venue serving amazing food (try out the restaurant on a regular day), what the guests commented on most was the personal, friendly service and great atmosphere. Lorraine and Marco made everything perfect for us, their attitude was -it's your day, so whatever you want, we'll work it-! The building was ideal for our number of guests (55 meal, 120 evening); we stayed in Mullingar and had a minibus on, so accommodation was no problem either. Not only was the day everything we wanted and more, but Lorraine worked it all within our budget. So we'd like to extend a big thanks to Lorraine, Marco and their team for a day we'll never forget!

Our wedding was at the Belfry on 20th August 2009 and we can honestly say it was the best day of our lives! We attached a marquee to the side of the Belfry and had our ceremoney in the main building and the meal-disco in the marquee. The day was made soooo rememberable and this was largely to do with the way it was run like clockwork, Lorraine and Marco and their staff ensured EVERY detail was covered so we both could relax and enjoyed the day. They tailor made our wedding which made it sooo unique and individual to us and nothing was a big job for them! Our guests loved the venue but also the hearty welcome Lorraine and Marco gave them ensuring they too enjoyed the day! We could not have asked for a better venue or indeed better people to help us have such a special day!!

We held our wedding reception at the Belfry on August 13th 2009 and we can't reccommend it highly enough. The main meal was beautiful and all the evening guests were raving about the night supper.
The venue is perfect for photographs and has the definite wow factor for guests who haven't been before! The staff were extremely friendly and efficient but most of all Marco and Lorraine couldn't have been more helpful.In the weeks leading up to the wedding and throughout the day they made sure that everything was alright for us and that there was nothing that we needed.We're so delighted to have picked somewhere slightly out of the norm, it worked fantastically for us and the guests are still raving about it!
