Andrew Bennett

Andrew&#;s musical career began on stage at school!&#; He then gained experience working in a well known Dublin music shop as a first step in pursuit of his ambition to perform live to millions.&#; In doing so he gained an insight into sales, customer service and fine tuned his knowledge of the musical industry. Serving famous Irish musicians such as Christy Moore and Oscar winner Glen Hansard of the Frames inspired Andrew to develop a career performing live music. Later on Andrew moved to Germany and worked as a professional musician for 3 years.&#; This experience helped Andrew develop his stagecraft, gain confidence and experience with all genres of music and types of audiences. Since his return to Dublin Andrew has been working as a musician gaining more live experience on the domestic scene and has become one of the hardest working musicians on the entertainments scene, playing various lively venues throughout the country and abroad. Check out his list of performance dates on myspace.com/bennettamusic.In Andrew had the pleasure of performing in front of half a million people on the ever popular TV show; You&#;re A Star, where he finished 7th out of thousands of applicants from all over Ireland.Going from strength to strength Andrew is currently in rehearsal for a countrywide tour and is also writing some new material for an upcoming demo cd. Andrew is available to play at your main wedding reception (on his own or with his band), your drinks reception or why not book him for your residents bar so the party can continue late into the night!! He is also available for corporate functions and private parties.Thinking of getting married abroad? No problem!
