Falls Hotel Spa Resort

We were planning our wedding from abroad and were slightly concerned beforehand at how relaxed the staff were (when we weren’t!). On the day it quickly became clear this was because the staff knew their roles inside out and everything ran like clockwork. Patrick was like a general overseeing the troops making sure everything was just so! We couldn’t have asked for more, they were so accommodating with using our own table decorations and made it look just as I had visioned.

I was slightly worried beforehand at the number of dietary requests we had but they were all handled excellently and the food was out of this world, I was actually sad I was too full by the end to finish my dessert it was that good!

From a bridal point of view I also loved getting ready in the suite the morning of, the room is spacious and comfortable and fit six of us and two HMU artists with no problems.

In short, I couldn’t recommend more if you’re looking for a classic wedding venue in the west of Ireland. Our guests loved the chance to explore Ennistymon and benefitted from the gorgeous views out over the town and cascades.

A fantastic day we had on our wedding day! We both live in Australia so planned from the other side of the world. We had to postpone twice due to the pandemic but finally had our special day in August 2023. Michael and team were fantastic to deal with in the weeks/months before the wedding and once we touched down in Co Clare. Nothing was too much trouble and they made the whole wedding planning so easy. All the staff were fantastic to deal with. A number of guests commented on the service, food and the hotel quality and I know some have already returned for a weekend stay. We can't wait to return to The Falls for an overnight stay when we return to Ireland.

All the staff at the Falls Hotel were amazing! From day 1, when we were viewing the hotel until the morning after our wedding day, we were met with smiles and everybody was so helpful. We felt at ease throughout organising our wedding, and would do it all again in the morning???????? the views are amazing and ideal for photos.. The meal was outstanding and the hotel itself is gorgeous, what more could you want????

Falls hotel is a beautiful hotel for weddings. The staff are so professional and the food was amazing.

I planned my wedding from Australia which could have been stressful but and as soon as I booked the Falls Hotel I knew I could relax. A couple of prompt emails and the day was booked. The manager Michael's reputation had preceeded him and he lived up to it and surpassed it! Nothing was too much trouble and no requests surprised him! Very friendly but at the same time professional, he was an absolute pleasure to deal with in organising our day. You can tell that he has overseen so many weddings, he is an expert!

The venue itself is fab, overlooking the beautiful waterfalls. Guests who had never been there before, and even those who had, all remarked on the views and the setting. The waterfalls provide a unique backdrop for those important wedding photos too of course. If the weather is good they have an outdoor lawn area that they will accommodate the drinks reception on! The reception room itself is beautiful and they do all the decorating for you including floral centrepieces, candleabras and even the dreaded tableplan! I arrived at the hotel the day before the wedding with boxes of my own decorations to put up but I was quickly informed by the staff that was their job and sent happily on my way :)

Every single member of staff have the same friendliness and professionalism that Michael has. Again nothing was too much trouble. Food was delicious and the selection is excellent with lots of options for drinks reception, dinner/dessert, and late night snack. I recommend the pig on the spit!

The value for money is also fantastic and I imagine hard to beat given the quality of the whole service.

Gym membership is included.Stephen, one of the wonderful personal trainers,put us through our paces in the weeks leading up to the big day!

Another bonus is its proximity to Lahinch and the Cliffs of Moher, even Shannon airport isnt far for those travelling.

For a wonderfully relaxing and enjoyable experience I highly recommend booking your wedding at The Falls Hotel :)
