Nicola was such a pleasure to have doing our make up. I had heard great things so I booked 2 years in advance and she was brilliant. In the lead up Nicola helped so much from helping with tan to recommending eye creams! On the day Nicola came in like a whirlwind, chatting and calming everyone. She even assured my mam that every wedding morning was as crazy as our house was. Nicola is some magician, she made me feel like I was the most beautiful person. We all looked and felt the most gorgeous we ever have. Every single one. She is such a lovely person and so so good at what she does! If your thinking of booking, do it!!!

Nicola is amazing! We got married in October 2023. So welcoming and friendly from the first meeting to the big day. Her work was amazing and my makeup looked phenomenal! Everyone of my bridal party looked amazing and we couldn't have had our big day without her. Highly recommend. Also her skincare advice in the first meeting was so helpful!

Nicola did my makeup for my wedding day along with my mams and my 4 bridesmaids. From start to finish Nicola was so professional and helped keep us all calm and going on the morning of. I didn't do a trial with Nicola as I felt going by her photos I was in safe hands and that I was! I told Nicola the look and colors I was going for and she completely understood and nailed the look. All of us looked absolutely flawless in such a natural way. I was blowing my nose all night, crying throughout the day, dancing and working up a sweat and I can honestly say my makeup never budges and the only top up that was needed was my lipstick. Nicola went way above and beyond for all of us and you could tell she really cared, she was running around putting wedding favors on the tables, helping me get dressed, applying my body tape she was just amazing at coordinating. I honestly can't express how grateful I am to Nicola and how much I would recommend her for your big day or any occasion. She is extremely talented at what she does and I guarantee you won't be disappointed. Nicola was one of the first suppliers I booked for my wedding. As soon as I came across her Instagram page I knew she had to do my bridal makeup! Nicola looked after me, my two bridesmaids, my mam and the mother of the groom. From first contact, Nicola is so lovely to deal with and replied to my emails very quickly. When I met Nicola at my trial she was so warm and welcoming and made me feel so comfortable. The same can be said about my wedding morning. She is such a relaxed and calming person to have with you on the day. Our make up looked amazing and was exactly what I wanted. It didn't budge for the whole day. I'll never look as glam again! Nicola was so helpful and professional from the moment I booked her. She kept in touch with me in the lead up to the wedding giving skincare advice ect. My trial with Nicola went really well but the final result on the wedding day was even better! My make-up was so flawless I couldn't of asked for a better result. My bridal party also looked stunning. Nicola really had as the ability to transform your look! In terms of wear and tear our make-up was bullet proof, so much so that myself and Bridesmaid woke up the next morning and our eye make-up and lashes were still PERFECT...we just removed and reapplied our foundation for day 2. Nicola brought so much more than her talent the morning of the wedding, she is so friendly and chatty, she was giving me advice on walking up the aisle as I was getting nervous, she really brought good energy into the room. I couldn't recommend Nicola highly enough!

What can I say about Nicola?there aren't enough words to explain how incredible and talented she is. From the first moment I reached out to her about my wedding make up, I felt confident in her ability and at ease. Her communication and response times were beyond efficient (even responding to messages while she was on holiday in a different timezone!) She gave me so many helpful tips in regards to prepping my skin so my make up would look it's best on the day, and gave me suggestions on different products to use. On the day of my trial, we discussed everything and decided what would work best with my features and my dress, even discussing with my mum who was worried about getting make up applied. On the day of the wedding she was a natural fit to our prep, getting involved with everything while also being so professional and keeping everything running to time. She was so helpful and calmed many a nerve on the morning. My mum and new mother in law would not regularly have make up applied and were nervous but looked absolutely beautiful as Nicola knew exactly how to make them look their best. My make up was absolutely perfect, enhancing my features and lasted to the very last minute of the day still looking as perfect as the moment it was applied. I would regularly have my make up applied and it has never lasted as long and looked so flawless at the end of what is a very long day?I am in complete awe of her talent and skill. Well what can I say from the moment I first contacted Nicola I just knew she was one very special hard working lady, messages was always like just talking to a friend nothing was a ever too much hassle even going as far as recommending my hair stylist when I was completely stressed out I felt so comfortable with Nicola and trusted her so much I didn't even have a trail or have much input on what to do I left her to work her absolute magic and wow I was left lost for words. Nicola was amazing. Even before the wedding she had me at ease. I was unable to have a trial as I was coming from Australia and we just had a good chat and I knew i was in good hands. I had the most chilled, relaxed morning. From the moment she arrived I knew we would have fun. Nicola works so well with Aisling who done my hair. No words can describe how amazing Nicola is. She is an absolute legend. From when I contacted her two years before our wedding, she was so welcoming and offered me advice on my skin care regime. Nicola did my bridesmaid makeup for a wedding in December 2022 which I absolutely loved! Nicola is very experienced, had a very professional set up and was fantastic at putting everyone at ease on the morning of the wedding! From looking at all varied make up styles & applications on Nicola's social media account, I was able to share with Nicola how I envisaged my make up to be on the day and Nicola advised on the best colours & tones to use to enhance my features. Using such high quality & varied brands, I was in safe hands knowing Nicola had the right products to suit my skin type and tone! My make up and lashes lasted all day and I honestly felt like a model getting so many compliments on my make up! I've gotten my makeup done from her her before, and always followed her content on insta. I knew from the minute I got engaged that I wanted her to do my make-up and didn't need a trial- Or even to give her much of a brief on the morning. I completely trusted her, and she worked some serious magic!!!
Having Nicola there helped make the morning extra special, we chatted, we laughed, I cried, Nicola helped me pull myself together and fixed my makeup!
The work she did on myself, my Mam and the bridal party was so beautiful. We all felt and looked amazing (so amazing she has us wanting to buy all the products she used on us). The products in her kit are so varied and high end. She has a knack for photos too (is there anything she can't do!) - The photos and videos that she took of us all individually were beautiful too, and lovely to have.
I really can't recommend her enough.

My experience with Nicola was amazing from start to finish. She is an amazing make up artist, I looked the best version of myself, but she is also a lovely person who is so nice to have around on your wedding morning. All the bridesmaids looked stunning but I was most impressed by my mam, a woman who only wears foundation and brows daily trusted Nicola to do light glam including lashes and she looked so beautiful. Would highly recommend to any bride.

Nicola is v nice and friendly. She asks before starting how you would like your makeup to be like and if you have any photos then she would do exactly like you want. She is also very flexible it took us 3 different lip shades in the trial to find one that I am comfortable with.
Not only professionally, I don't live in Ireland so I don't know much regarding good stores.. and I remembered during my trial with Nicola we chatted about bridesmaids dresses in Dublin.. which later on I had to ask her about again and she was responsive and helpful:)

We were a party of 5 and we had really different tastes in makeup and Nicola was able to accommodate our needs.

Nicola is absolutely fantastic and I would highly recommend her to any brides to be! I was so delighted with my make up and I'm still getting compliments on my make up and people telling me they wished they booked Nicola for their own wedding!! She was so lovely and really organised from when I first contacted her and sent really helpful skincare advice in the lead up to the wedding too. I honestly can't recommend Nicola enough! From the moment I spoke with Nicola I knew I was in great hands! She sent me very helpful advice on how to get my skin the freshest and most radiant as possible. From the very first text messages with Nicola, I knew I had chosen someone who would not only deliver the desired makeup look for the bridal party but also keep things relaxed and on time on the big day. Nicola was exceptionally prompt in her communications in the lead up to our big day and this was deeply appreciated. We agreed a wedding morning schedule as I had to navigate three different locations for my bridal party which proved to be invaluable and kept us all very relaxed. We all genuinely enjoyed the wedding morning and Nicola could not have done enough - aside from makeup touches when we reached our final location, she helped us with steaming all dresses, placing of mother of the bride/groom hats and readjusting hair styles and positioning of boob tape!! Honestly, Nicola was a Wonder Woman on our wedding day and I will be eternally grateful for her calming presence and unwavering focus on ensuring we were all ready to go on time. Nicola is a supremely talented make up artist but more than that she's just a lovely person. It was so good to have her there all during the wedding morning, she's such a laugh and very chilled out which is what you want. She even stayed to help me get into my dress, told me how to hold the bouquet and even what time I should be getting ready as I hadn't got a clue.

Our makeups on the day where flawless, I couldn't of been happier - some of us even wore it on day two it lasted so well! The whole party was over the moon and would happily recommend. The trial was perfect and Nicola was so accommodating when I contacted her afterwards to ask if I could change my hair style as the style I asked her to do didn't match the vibe of my dress on reflection! The day of the wedding I showed Nicola a picture on my phone of a hairstyle I wanted and she replicated it perfectly, in fact my husband kept commenting on my hair on the day!! As I had an intimate wedding and not having any immediate family there it was just me the bridesmaid and Nicola there and she was amazing at helping both me and the bridesmaid into our dresses. Everything was perfect and Nicola made this day even more special and non stressful!

Nicola was absolutely fantastic on the day and in the months leading up to the wedding. During the trial Nicola advised me on my skincare regime and a few products to get my skin wedding ready. These were all simple products and left my skin looking its best for the day.

On the day of the wedding when Nicola arrived she immediately put everybody at ease. Nicola had four faces to do on the day, myself, my two bridesmaids and my mam, we were each absolutely delighted with our makeup. Even on the hottest day of the year (33 degrees!!) the makeup stayed looking fresh and beautiful throughout the day. Thank you so much Nicola for all your work it was just perfect.

Nicola is far more then just a beauty artist on the morning of your wedding! The advice and tips she gave the morning of the wedding were so helpful, she helped with getting dressed, photos, the lads suit flowers so they looked their best too there was noting she didn't cover on the morning including helping other guests with lashes!! She stuck with me through 2 postponements was excellent with communicating with me over the 2.5 years! You would be doing yourself a massive favour having Nicola as part of your morning! Nicola did the hair and make up for my three bridesmaids and my flower girl. She was amazing from the very beginning! Despite the chaos in the house, Nicola and her professionalism brought a sense of calm and never once did anyone feel under pressure. My new husband turned to me on the morning after our wedding and said 'arent we so lucky you booked Nicola for your make-up?' and I think that sums up how I feel. We finally got married on our third attempt this June and Nicola did make up for me and my bridal party. From first email, I knew she would be super helpful as she provided a suggested timeline for the day (you cannot quantify how useful this is when it comes to it!!). She also explains everything. I travelled up for a trial and she gave me such great advice and never once tried to push a certain style on me (as some do). I followed her skincare advice religiously and will continue to do so. It really paid off. She did a fantastic job on the day but more importantly (in my opinion), she was so so brilliant to have in the room on the day. She was a calming and organised presence who chipped in to help my 9 month pregnant sister get into her dress, my mam fix her flower, me fix my body tape and many many other things beyond the call of duty. I have recommended her to all my friends and I will continue to do so. From my first message with Nicola I knew she was the perfect person to fit into our wedding day! She is professional and absolutely amazing at her job. Each of us left the makeup chair absolutely stunned at the job she had done on us. Nicola is an amazing make up artist and an absolute gem of a woman. My make up on the day was absolutely perfect. When I've had make up done previously my face always felt tight at the end of the day. I didn't have this with nicola, my make up was still perfect at 4am the next day when I was going to bed. Nicola also did my bridal party which was my mother and two bridesmaids, they where all so happy with their make up. On the morning of the wedding everything was so calm and timing all organised perfectly. Nicola was also on hand to help out with anything that was needed on the morning. I cannot recommend Nicola enough! Not only did she make all of the bridesmaids look beautiful! But she made the Bride look like a true princess! And the Mother of the bride look like a queen! Absolutely obsessed with how amazing the makeup was and lasted the entire night and day! And with the amount of dancing we were doing is extremely impressive how long it lasted. However, Nicola did more than the makeup in our house, she helped calm us all down including our Mam, the Mother of the bride who tends to get quite stressed. I can't recommend booking Nicole enough. She was extremely responsive in the run up. I had a few queries and she was so helpful - made me feel at ease from the get go. You can tell she really loves her job as her passion shines through. Nicola did a wonderful job on all seven of us the morning of our wedding. People wanted different styles and she was able to accommodate everyone. Nicola provided lots of cruelty free options and nothing was a problem on the morning of the wedding. Due to circumstances out of both of our control, we weren't able to do a trial before the wedding but I was really confident that Nicola would deliver on the day and she did not let me down. Even after all of my (happy) tears at our ceremony, I just needed a quick touch up and I was picture ready!

On the day Nicola went above and beyond getting us all ready to lock up the house and walk out the front door.
Even the 2 Mammys were a little nervous about getting a full face of make up as they wouldn't be used to it, but wow were they so happily surprised!

I cannot say enough good things about Nicola. She fit us in at a weeks notice (so responsive and flexible) without a trial and just took it all in her stride and absolutely smashed it. Within an hour of contacting Nicola, she had sent me a personalised timetable for the day. She is extremely organised, takes control and I just knew we would be in totally safe hands for the day. She is a complete pro and so incredibly talented. She even managed to cover sunburn on my back, and whatever illuminator Nicola put on us had us glowing like goddesses all day if I do say so myself! One friend when looking at our wedding photos actually said our skin looked like "Golden Silk" ???? Our makeup didn't budge and I had to fight to get it off at 3am even after all the happy tears! Book her, book her, BOOK HER!!

Nicola was incredible. We were all delighted with our makeup. Even though it was quite an emotional day, our make up stayed perfect for the day and lasted all the laughter and tears. Before the wedding, I didn't really know what type of hair and makeup I wanted. During preparations, Nicola made me feel very comfortable and at ease with the whole process. Once the trial was over I was thrilled that my makeup was exactly how I had envisaged it . Even my mother got emotional when sent her the pictures of my trial. As part of the wedding party it can sometimes feel a little stressful with all the pretty faces to get ready on the morning of the big day! I've been a bridesmaid 7 times and this was easliy the most relaxed and comfortable I've felt and it was all down to Nicola. Her relaxed and friendly approach made everyone feel at ease and like we had plenty of time with no compromise. From the moment I arrived at Nicola Weldon Make-up, Nicola immediately welcomed me and made me feel completely relaxed and at ease. We talked through what types of looks I like (and nearly more importantly what I don't like) and from there Nicola started to work her magic. Throughout my appointment Nicola shared little nuggets of information on how to achieve a natural look by enhancing my natural features allowing for a truly unique look and what I should do to help my make-up last all day long... which it did!! The morning of my wedding, Nicola really helped in creating a calm and fun atmosphere. There aren't enough nice things that I can say about Nicola and what an artist she is. From the moment I first met her and had my trial and I seen how much she wanted to create I look that I would love. I walked away from the trial absolutely delighted and excited for what she could do for me on the big day as she had given me a few tips which would help with the hair style. She was always happy to help with any questions that I had, going above and beyond what might usually be expected of a hair and makeup artist.

We had our big day on Saturday and she did the hair and makeup for two bridesmaids, the motb and me. Each person was delighted with the look she gave them, we all looked like the best versions of ourselves.

Everybody was commenting on how lovely it was. I didn't want to wash it off at the end of the night as it was still perfect!!! I have recommended her everyone. She was so lovely on the day too and made me feel very comfortable. Definitely 10 out of 10!!!!

I was a guest at a wedding that Nicola did my hair and makeup for. She is very talented lady at both hair and makeup. Nicola was extremely thorough in her consultation with my before my actual appointment. I don't wear much makeup so I was very concuohs of having make up on all day for a long period of time. Nicola meet me at the venue for the wedding do both my hair and makeup and she made everything so relaxing and took the time to make sure I was happy and comfortable with the end look. Since booking Nicola for the wedding I have also gone back to Nicola for hair and make up for my daughter's confirmation and I would highly recommend her to anyone going forward

I had my makeup done by Nicola as i was a guest for a wedding. I never normally get my makeup done as i always feel that i do a better job myself. I had heard good reports about her so I said i would give her a try. She didnt disappoint. She listened to what i liked and didnt like and she made sure i was happy with everything before i left. I had a make-up trial with Nicola a few weeks before my wedding and it was perfect. She understood the look I was going for and made me feel confident that my makeup would be beautiful on my wedding day. This had been a huge worry for me but my stress levels about the makeup reduced completely after meeting Nicola.She also gave me helpful tips for getting my skin ready for the big day. The morning of the wedding was so calm and relaxing with Nicola. My makeup was beautiful and stayed that way all day and night. Would highly recommend Nicola as she was professional and was a lovely addition to the wedding preparation.

Nichola is amazing. She really listens and cares about what the client wants. The make up comes out exceptionally well in photographs. Can't recommend her enough ????
